Gate Guardian - Song Of The Frozen Soul 328 To Call Me "Rikkun" Once Again

PHASE 101 - TO CALL ME "RIKKUN" ONCE AGAIN

My name is Alaric Eisenhower, and this is the final battle.

I don't know how long has it been when I first came here. Days? Months? Years? Decades?

I have no idea. My concept of time has been distorted for the reason that I have been here in this universe for a really long time.

Everything in this dimension is dark. The air is made of pure aether, the skies are filled with void, and the ground I'm standing always echo like a ripple as if I am standing on top of a calm ocean.

This place is called the Sin Universe, which is locked away in the principles of fiction and reality. The universe I'm in is actually an Eidolon that far surpa.s.ses Level 4 monsters that I have faced.

"YOU CAN NEVER DEFEAT ME, ALARIC EISENHOWER!!! YOU ARE LOCKED HERE FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!"

The skies roared. The Sin Universe is still furious for ejecting him from my lover. So to torture me, he kept on opening Dark Gates to summon infinite Eidolons to fight me.

I tightened my grip on my ice sword that is now soaked with black blood- Eidolon blood.

How many Eidolons have I killed since I last stepped here? I'm no longer counting. Probably thousands, or millions. Judging from this universe's power, it's not going to stop.

"Haaaaah…" I exhaled out smoke. Every time I breathe, I feel like I'm inhaling gla.s.s shards. My chest still hurts since I no longer have a heart. However, I can still stand and fight for the u003cAethernusu003e armor is keeping me alive. That's both a blessing and a curse, really. I can stay immortal as long as I have this armor, but the moment I disable it, I will drop dead on the floor.

I'm already a Schrodinger's zombie at this point.

Several Dark Gates opened, and it sp.a.w.ned hundreds of Eidolons that are much uglier than the last. One of the Eidolon is a giant blob with a molten face, the other is a spider with a head of a horse, and there's even a giant gummy worm with corona teeth. 

"u003cG.o.d Fragment: Thor, Poseidon, Rau003e" I whispered as I buffed my sword with lightning, water, and flames. Then, with a blink of an eye, I made a u003cMoonlight Slashu003e to slit the Eidolons' throats. About ten of them fell down, but there's still several thousand of Eidolons to go.

"OOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

The Eidolons' roars are deafening. They tried to avenge their fallen comrades by smas.h.i.+ng their tails, claws, fists, bodies, and even slimes to me. However, all their attacks did no damage at all.

My emerald eyes glowed, and everything was engulfed with darkness. Thousands of silver streaks waltzed in this universe within a split second. When the darkness faded, hundreds of Eidolons drop dead. 

"Gah… hah… hah…" I panted. I do have infinite stamina, but the pain in my chest is killing me. I already want this to be over and meet my lover in the afterlife. But I know that I couldn't.

"DISABLE YOUR u003cAETHERNUSu003e ALREADY SO THAT YOU CAN REST IN PEACE!!!" The skies roared.

I smiled. I know it better than him. If I drop dead right here and right now, he will take possession of my body. He intends to become Aeternos himself, and use my Gate Guardian powers to open a Gate to whatever existing universe to spread doom. 

I can't have that. I will not give up my handsome face and an awesome body!

"If you want a physical body so badly, then take it…" I laughed. "I can do this all lifetime."

"YOU ARE PERSISTENT!!! I WILL DO THIS FOR ALL ETERNITY UNTIL YOU GIVE UP!!!"

Several Dark Gates opened once again as this d.a.m.n formless evil G.o.d summoned another batch of Eidolons for me to kill.

As I charged forward, I ripped and tore everyone who went in my way without mercy. I should be insane right now, but there are still things that keep me from losing my mind.

All that's keeping me sane is the thought of my friends and allies. I can imagine the Aether Crusade living now in peace. I can imagine all the people I have left behind moving on and live their life to the fullest.

If there is a worry in my heart, it would be about Tiara. I think that the wedding proposal thing would be so sad as a farewell. I very much know that she will be spending the rest of her life in sorrow.

I can imagine her always waiting below the skies full of fireworks, smiling and crying at the very same time. I want to hug her tight and kiss her.

"Rikkun!"

I want to hear her voice calling my cheesy but cute nickname.

"Rikkun!"

"IMPOSSIBLE!!!" The Sin Universe cried.

At first, I thought that "Rikkun" shout was just inside my mind. But when I heard the Sin Universe protest, I couldn't help but look at my back. That voice… it can't be!

"Rikkun! I am here too!"

Wearing a white eastern robe that has rainbow flames burning on its tips, colorful rainbow wings waving around with the breeze of air, and long black hair fluttering, the ArchG.o.ddess made her appearance. She is kneeling in a praying position, and I can see two Outer G.o.d Cores revolving around her body.

"T-Tiara!?" I removed my Aether Armor's helmet in order to get a better sight of the lady. I even rubbed my eyes two times just to confirm it. "Tiara! Is that really you!?"

"Mmm!" Tiara nodded with sparkling sky-blue eyes. "I'm am here, Rikkun! I will do my best to support you in this battle! With determination, We will never give up!"

"T-Tiara…"

Tears crawled from my eyelids. Nothing could beat the feeling of having my lover stand by my side in this ultimate fight of my life. This feeling is much better than s.e.x!

"Commencing the song of the Frozen Soul: u003cSong of Salvationu003e!!!" Tiara announced as she slowly closed her eyes.

A soothing voice started to hum in the atmosphere. The ArchG.o.ddess has finally started her telepathic singing that is ought to change the course of reality and destiny.

The Outer G.o.d Cores started to revolve around her in overdrive. Thousand-color dusts started to shower her body as a pillar of light shattered the skies and put her in the spotlight.

"Oh heavens, I pray this song to you…

Oh eternal love that I have come to…

Thou shall offer my love to the Frozen Soul for you...

Oh, unrequited love… Oh, love unsung...

I sing the eternal hymn that has come to rend…

As I continue to exist, my love will never end…"

Suddenly, I felt a gentle warmth on my chest. I looked at my body, and then I saw the hole in my chest quickly heal. I can feel my own heartbeats again. Tiara must have healed me back to my prime condition.

I clenched my fists. My breathing is normal again. Nothing is painful, and nothing is hurt. With this health, I can fight to the fullest without anything hindering me!

"FOOL!!! YOU CAN NEVER DEFEAT ME!!!" The skies roared.

Millions of Dark Gates emerged from the skies, from the ground, from everywhere in this dimension. All Dark Gates sp.a.w.ned Eidolons that have the equivalent power of Level 4. The Sin Universe is getting furious. He's throwing all he got in this fight.

I tightened my grip on my sword. A million Eidolons will be targeting Tiara, so my mission is to protect her at all costs. I should fight until this is all over!

Suddenly, I heard a jolly cheer form the woman I love. With her sparkling sky-blue eyes and happy smile, she called my name once again.

"Rikkun, don't worry! I called some friends!"

When I looked at my back, I saw a million golden Gates.
