Since the Four ancestors of the continents,there has never been a powerhouse above the Heaven Knight realm. Ascension into a new realm has really become difficult as the higher the realm the purer the energy needed to breakthrough. That is, for every new realm ascended, a Practioner has to imbibe purer and clearer energy from the surroundings. This energy is also called Mana. The first time mana is sensed by a person, marks his/her ascension into the squire realm. Upon further growth and advancement, the level of mana needs to be purer to ascertain a well and solid comprehension of the new realm and also because the body would not absorb mana of a lesser quality.

Mana quality is higher at places naturally possessing the elemental affinity of an individual. Advancement in realms also comes with great pain. The higher the realm, the greater the pain. This is like a tribulation before growth.

Divine Beast and other creatures also roam the planet. A knight is able to make a contract with different beasts to become their mounts and trusted partner. A beast can acknowledge a knight as its master if it is subdued or at birth, when its weak. Divine beast ranks from rank 1 to 9. The bloodline they posses characterizes them into *common bloodline, *king bloodline, *imperial bloodline and the *legendary bloodline. During evolutions, some beast with mixed bloodline can evolve to a stronger bloodline if the right conditions are met. Mount are only compatible with knights of the same elements with them.

A beast can make a contract with a knight at the n.o.ble knight realm upwards as then, they would be able to use their mana properly.

Beasts resided on the planet but they existed in a different kind of dimensional plane. Different gateways to the beast dimension existed until most of them where sealed off by the four great ancestors with help from their mounts. In each continent, there is a sealed mountain which has a huge gateway that allows beasts to move to the human realm. The beast realm isn't exactly a land flowing with milk and honey. It was more of a barren land, thats why beasts always moved to the human realm.

From the 5th rank, beast begin to reason and think like human babes. As they advance in rank, so also their thinking capabilities.

*The Demon Realm*

Demons live by the hierarchy of power. The strongest demon becomes the leader. The last demon king, was a powerhouse at a realm equivalent to the ancestor Lukas, when he waged war against humans for absolute power and control over them. He had miscalculated the possibility of meeting someone of his power level or ever higher than him in the human realm. After being severely injured, he was able to escape with his three generals who where also severely injured. This war had thought them the ingenuity of humans, never underestimate them.

Due to the long silence of the demons, no one knew the current situation brewing in the demon realm. This time, they where certain of claiming victory over the human world.
