Ye Xiong was still worried that Tang Ning would tell on him to Yang Xinyi. However, when he returned to the bedroom, he realized that Yang Xinyi did not act out of character at all. Perhaps Tang Ning was too shy to say it out loud.

After all, she would lose face if she were to expose it.

"Dear, I'm going to take a shower."

Ye Xiong took a s.h.i.+rt from his room as he was prepared to shower in Yang Xinyi's room.

"Hold up."

"What's wrong?"

"You're not allowed to use my bathtub and everything else that's mine. You're not allowed to do anything disgusting inside too," Yang Xinyi warned.

"What const.i.tutes disgusting? Is taking a sh*t considered one?" Ye Xiong asked.

"You…" Yang Xinyi was incredibly irritated.

Ten minutes later, Ye Xiong walked out of the bathroom. He was in his pajamas as he sat on the bed.

"Get up and sleep down there." 

Yang Xinyi ordered as she pointed to the mattress on the ground she had prepared beforehand.

"Dear, the floor is too wet, I'll get rheumatism easily if I sleep there." Ye Xiong acted pitiful in front of her.

Unfortunately, Yang Xinyi had completely ignored him as she crawled into her bed and started sleeping.

"I'm warning you. If you dare to lay your hands on me, you'll die or I'll die trying." Yang Xinyi warned again.

Ye Xiong had no choice but to sleep on the floor with his s.h.i.+rt.

He found it incredibly awkward since he was sleeping in the same room with a beautiful woman. Any guy would find it hard to fall asleep in this situation.

As he was trying to force himself to sleep, he heard faint footsteps coming from outside.

Ye Xiong's sense of hearing was incredibly sharp as he was able to immediately tell that someone was eavesdropping by the door.

Ye Xiong could not hold in his laughter when he heard that familiar footstep.

Tang Ning, that idiot, had really thought that the two had a fake marriage and decided to listen for the situation in the room!

Ye Xiong took his phone out and played a video, so that sound could leak out from the bedroom endlessly.

Yang Xinyi woke up because of the noise just as she was about to fall asleep. When she found out that Ye Xiong was watching a show, she was prepared to fight to the death with the scissors in her hand. However, she saw Ye Xiong gesturing her to quiet down as he pointed at the door.

Yang Xinyi could see a shadowy figure through the gap of the door and it seemed to be eavesdropping by the door.

"Did aunt and uncle suspect us and purposely come over to eavesdrop us?" Yang Xinyi frowned.

She would never argue with Ye Xiong at such a critical moment as that would basically be announcing that their marriage was fake.

It was then Ye Xiong screamed out loud.

"Dear, your skin is so smooth…" In order to make it even more realistic, Ye Xiong screamed as he let the video run its course.

Yang Xinyi's face was dyed red upon hearing his words.

This guy gave an exaggerative cry. Why would a guy say something a woman would normally say?

'Tsk tsk, what am I thinking?'

Ye Xiong cried out loud as he watched the video. His cry was so into the mood that Yang Xinyi had to cover her ears with her blanket after a while so that her ears would not be tainted by the sound.

Meanwhile, outside of the bedroom, a pet.i.te figure was listening to everything by the door.

"Who would've thought that cousin would behave like this even though she was ice cold the entire time. Is this what they meant by cold on the outside, hot on the inside?" Tang Ning was excited as she muttered.

"Dear, I'm going to head out to take a cup of water," Ye Xiong spoke and acted like he was walking towards the door.

"Oh no, cousin-in-law is about to come out."

Tang Ning was shocked. It would be incredibly embarra.s.sing if she were to be caught eavesdropping on both of them.

She turned around and escaped instantly, and did so in such a hurry that she had even left a shoe behind.

Ye Xiong saw a shoe on the ground by the time he opened the door. He took the shoe into the room and threw it to the ground as he giggled. "Dear, your cousin is an interesting one. She came to eavesdrop on us. We're lucky I'm sharp enough or we would be exposed."

"Fine, get to sleep now!" Yang Xinyi looked at the time. It was already midnight and she was completely exhausted.

Two o'clock in the middle of the night was a human's time to fall into deep sleep. It was also the time to do any evil deed.

Ye Xiong crawled up from the ground. He was like a monkey as he gently arrived by the side of the bed. He opened up the blanket and was ready to crawl into the bed to sleep.

He had even already thought of an excuse. He would never admit that he had crawled into the bed on his own accord the next morning.

Sleepwalking. Yep. His excuse was sleepwalking.

Since murdering a person during sleepwalking was not a crime, it would not be a crime as well if he were to sleepwalk into the bed.

The body fragrance of a woman rushed into his nose as he gently opened the blanket. The fragrant was so aromatic that Ye Xiong could not get enough of it.

His wife's body was filled with aroma. She was worthy of being the most beautiful girl in Jiangnan.

He noticed Yang Xinyi was holding an incredibly sharp item in her hand as he was about to climb into the bed. Upon closer inspection, he found out that it was a pair of scissors.

'What the f*ck.'

Ye Xiong closed his legs and jumped out of the bed immediately. He had lost his entire mood.

He could use sleepwalking as an excuse that he had accidentally slept in the bed the next morning. However, Yang Xinyi was not the kind of person that would take sleepwalking as an excuse. She would definitely snip his little brother off.

In order to make sure his little brother lived a happy life, Ye Xiong had decided to not take the risk and retreated.

Naturally, he had taken away Yang Xinyi's scissors before he left. While the scissors were able to cut off his manhood, it could also injure her as well.

Yang Xinyi jumped out of the bed the next morning.

"D*mn it, I slept extremely soundly. Was I taken advantage of?" Yang Xinyi immediately checked her body and let out a sigh of relief when she did not find any abnormality. 

She looked at the table and saw a pair of scissors over there. That guy must have gotten scared that she might injure herself and took it out of her hands.

A sense of warmth brew inside her when that thought crossed her mind!

This guy was not as bad as she thought!

She went downstairs as she took a shower and changed into a new set of clothes. Aunt and her family were already sitting there chatting with Ye Xiong. Their laughter could be heard throughout the entire living room.

This guy was quite a charmer. When did he learn to control the atmosphere?

"Xinyi, I didn't expect Lil Xiong's breakfast to be amazing. Come and have a taste." Yang Yueru praised.

"It's only soy sauce and cuc.u.mber but he's able to bring out such a flavor. It's amazing." Tang Jianjun nodded.

Tang Ning was quiet but the way she devoured the food was louder than words.

"Xinyi, I might have just introduced him to Lil Ning if you haven't married Lil Xiong yet!" Yang Yueru laughed.

"Lil Aunt, you're exaggerating!" Ye Xiong laughed as he nodded towards at Xinyi.

It was obvious that he was trying to say, 'See that? Everyone else has taken your husband as a treasure and you're still treating him like a weed.'

Yang Xinyi rolled her eyes and acted like she did not see him at all.

Ye Xiong became mischievous as he watched Tang Ning having her breakfast quietly. He said, "That's weird, I found a shoe at my bedroom door last night. I wonder which mouse had put it there."

Tang Ning was so shocked that her face turned red the moment she heard him. She immediately stared at Ye Xiong. That look on her face was trying to tell him to forgive her.

Who would have thought that this extremely audacious girl was so scared of her father? No wonder she was so well-behaved in most situations.

It seemed like she had a weak spot as well.

Yang Yueru and Tang Jianjun went on their way after breakfast. However, Tang Ning stayed back instead of leaving. She said that she would return after playing for a few more days.

"You can play for another three days at best. Your exam is fast approaching and you must return to revise your studies." Tang Jianjun ordered.

Tang Nin nodded hastily.

She laid on the sofa as if her soul had left her body when Tang Jianjun and Yang Yueru left.

"Finally, those two old people have left."

"Shut up. No one should scold their parents in such a manner." Yang Xinyi scolded.

Tang Ning did not seem to care. She turned around immediately and stared at Ye Xiong so intently that her eyes could pop out of her head at any moment. "Cousin, I've got big news to tell you. Cousin-in-law has a mistress."
