After days of meditation he finally reached the intermediate level. Besides having the same refres.h.i.+ng feeling like the first time he meditated and feeling his mind becoming more powerful, he could now cast low level spells with less chanting time according to the system. He don't need to say that boring chant of fireball, just shouting "Fireball!" was fine.

But seems like not chanting reduce the power of the spell a little. Well he find this better than stay standing there like a idiot chanting in the middle of a battle.

The reason he has this amount of points is because he found some other beasts with cores. A snake and a monkey, the snake almost killed him in a surprise attack and the monkey just keep hitting the s.h.i.+eld like a idiot and was blasted with fireb.a.l.l.s.

After all this hunting Adam has already made 20 potions, the beasts were worth some money. He headed to a more or less crowded street and put a table and the twenty potions. He then started shouting :

"Spirit energy recovery medicine! 10 silver each, hurry the stock is going to end fast!" Too bad, people stared at him but no one tried to buy it. You can't blame them,no one is going to drink that "strange stuff" in the table.

In this world potions don't exist, only pills and a spirit recovery pill won't be so cheap even if it only worked on Martial Apprentices of low level.

He kept shouting for a lot of time and just when he was starting to lose hope, a group of people dressed like mercenaries with swords and leather armor appeared. The one leading the mercenaries with slightly better equipment approached with a impatient expression. He probably really needed recover his spirit qi or he won't even bother trying.

"This better work or else.." Threatened the leader while giving 10 silver coins to Adam and picking a potion. He opened it and gulped down the blue liquid. His expression changed and he put 30 silver coins in the table.

"Give me three of them."

"Yes" Answered Adam with a joyful smile. Unfortunately he was the only one who bought it for the entire day and Adam headed towards the inn with a tired expression.

After getting 30 silves coins in a day, Adam lied down in his bed preparing to buy his next spell, Fire s.h.i.+eld. It forms a s.h.i.+eld made of fire orbiting around the user and when a projectile or someone tries to hit him,it will automatically defend and spit fire. It also has evolved versions like Double Fire s.h.i.+eld and Triple Fire s.h.i.+eld with the exact same functions but with more fire s.h.i.+elds around the user, making possible to use all the three s.h.i.+elds at the same time to ward a attack.

It has a good effect of burning anyone who attacks him so any melee combatant will need to bear Ring Of Fire and Fire s.h.i.+eld burn at the same time. He was near invincible to any low level Martial Apprentice. Well it cost him 250 points tough, defensive spells were more expensive

After doing that, Adam resumed his potion selling business the next day selling three to ten potions a day, gaining fame in the city a little because of his strange medicine and clothes. His daily income was now 100 silver or 1 gold coins.
