Having decided his day, Long Yu got off his bed and went to bathroom to wash up. When he arrived in front of the mirror, he noticed that his eyes were slightly red. Since there were no discomfort in them, he brushed it off and went to take a shower.

After Long Yu had finished his morning routine, he went to wake Xixi up. The little girl obediently went to the bathroom to brush her teeth as usual. While she was in the bathroom, Long Yu turned on the news channel.

It seems that after almost a week of inactivity, the discussions on the incident at the hypermarket started to die down.

Although everything was seemingly normal, it did not stop people from trying to take advantage of the situation. There were increased cases of criminal activities all over the city.

A few government officials have even came out to address the situation. They ensured all citizens that everything was under control, and also strictly warned those criminals.

Seeing that they were quite early today, Long Yu decided to try to hotel buffet breakfast.

In the end, Xixi was the one who enjoyed it the most. Although the food wasn't particularly the best, what she was most happy about, was the unlimited amount of food that she could eat.

At first, the hotel staff wanted to berate them for taking too much food. After all, it wasn't good to waste food, and he doubted that the two of them could finish the dozen plates of food on their table.

However, when she saw Xixi happily devouring them all, he could only stand there with his mouth wide open.

After their breakfast, Long Yu asked Xixi to stay in the room, while he tried to find a place to test out the exoskeleton armor.

Since there wasn't any suitable places nearby, he decided to drive around the city to find one.

Long Yu could not test his armor out in public areas, due to risks of accidentally exposing himself.

Thus, he needed to find a more secluded location with no people around.

After half an hour of driving, Long Yu finally spotted a fairly isolated area. There was an abandoned industrial warehouse in the vicinity, which he could make use of.

He got off his car and checked his surroundings. After confirming that there was no one around, he casually approached the warehouse.

Just for the sake of it, Long Yu gave the door a few knocks. Seeing that there was no response, he went ahead to push the sliding door open.

An unpleasant smell wafted out from inside the warehouse, causing Long Yu to back off a little.

Although the odour inside was bad, it wasn't intolerable. Besides, Long Yu was too lazy to find another suitable spot.

He continued to push open a gap big enough for him to enter. The interior was fairly empty with the exception of a few tall, randomly placed metal racks.

Long Yu exchanged for a few cans of air fresheners and sprayed the entire place, in attempt to make the smell a little more bearable.

Kicking the empty cans to the side, he was finally ready to test out the nano-machine exoskeleton armour on his left leg.

After willing for it to activate, he once again marvelled at the manifestation of the nano-machines that wrapped around his leg.

First off, Long Yu exchanged for a punching bag from the system. The bag came with a solid metal stand, so he didn't have to find a place to hang it.

Adjusting his posture, he gathered some strength in his left leg, before sending a side kick towards the bag.

*Bang*

A loud sound could be heard from the impact of his leg kicking the punching bag. That was not all. The chain which was connected the stand, ripped off, causing the bag to be sent flying.

After sliding and rolling for more than twenty meters on the ground, the punching bag finally came to a stop.

Seeing sand profusely flowing out from the bag, Long Yu knew it was not usable anymore.

Ignoring it, he checked the armor to make sure that there were no problems with it.

Honestly, he did not feel much force from the impact. It seems the armor could even absorb the impact, preventing any backlash of force from affecting his leg.

Satisfied with his first test, Long Yu took out another punching bag. This time, he decided to use full force in his kick. He took a deep breath and postured for a side kick once again.

*Bang*

This time, the punching bag did not even get to move from its spot. It directly exploded with sand flying all over the place.

Instead, it was the metal stand that was sent flying this time. The force in Long Yu's kick was too domineering.

"Pui!" he spat out the sand that got into his mouth, and also swept away those that got into his hair and clothes.

Looking at the aftermath of his kick, a small smile appeared on Long Yu's face.

Without hesitation, he started to exchange for various objects from the system; each one was more bigger and more st.u.r.dy than the last.
