"By the way, let's hold the barbecue party tonight. I have people I need to introduce to all of you." Yan Qing Shan said after they all had finished their meals.

"And honestly, there no reason to further hold it up since it will only be us attending. As far as I know, Qi Xia has already processed the necessary papers as well." Qi Xia nodded and confirmed her words.

"Alright. We'll handle the party preparations. All you need to do is sit back and relax. We don't really have people to invite. So your guests will only be the ones going. Just so we know, how many of them are coming?"

Yan Qing Shan tilted her head thoughtfully at Jia Yi Lan's question. A spontaneous thought crossing in her mind. Should she invite Zi Jue as well? Hmm. Might as well. It wouldn't do any harm for him to meet her people as early as now.

"Six. There will be six of them coming." She answered. Yan Qing Shan would have said five but she remembered that Housekeeper Liu always accompanies Zi Jue. So she might as well count him in.

Jia Yi Lan nodded as she took out her smartphone and started listing the necessary things that needed to be done.

"Yi Lan, have Xu Lei, Chen Luo, and your brother a.s.sist you with whatever is needed. There is something that I'd like to talk to with Qi Xia and the others. They will be the ones to inform you about it afterwards." Yan Qing Shan said dismissively. After which she gestured to Qi Xia, Hong Zhen Yue, Ning Xie Zhi, and Qin Jiran to follow her.

"Alright, Sovereign. Leave it to me." Jia Yi Lan a.s.sented after which she dragged the three men with her to set up for the party.

Yan Qing Shan on the other hand faced the other four in the study of the Ace Villa. She sat at the rustic wing chair and motioned for them to take their seats as well.

The four men kept their silence and waited for her to talk first. Yan Qing Shan breathed in deeply. She was pondering whether to reveal her connections to the underworld to these men or not. She was calculating the risks of trusting them with her other ident.i.ty. She sighed and looked up at them after a few moments.

"The four of you, if I'm not mistaken, are quite acquianted with the underworld." Yan Qing Shan started. She gauged each of their reactions.

"Well, I don't really plan to hide it from you Jie. The Ning family is involved with the underworld. My father and brother is a subordinate and acquaintance of Hades. We are a faction of his group. The same goes for Qi Xia and the Qi family. All of us are under Hades. Jiran has also recently joined in."

Yan Qing Shan furrowed her brows at Ning Xie Zhi's statement. Hades? She wasn't aware of him. She hasn't been keeping tabs in the underworld. This bit of information made it apparent that she needed to update herself.

"As for me, I do know about the underworld. But I am from a military family. The Hongs are pretty much aware of the currents of that side. Though, we keep away from their business as much as possible." Hong Zhen Yue supplied. Yan Qing Shan expected as much. Though, it did surprised her that Zhen Yue seemed nonchalant of this fact. The friends.h.i.+p of this group runs deep, she surmised.

Yan Qing Shan was also glad that they didn't seem to have any reservations on telling her their connections to the underworld. It made her even more a.s.sured about the information she was about to divulge.

"Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me about this." She muttered gratefully. Ning Xie Zhi shrugged uncaringly as if saying that it was expected of him. Qi Xia and Jiran smiled at her a.s.suringly. Hong Zhen Yue merely waved his hands.

"I am actually also acquainted with the underworld. The visitors you'll be meeting tonight are part of it as well. But they are not from the Hua Xia division."

The four men went straightened their backs in attention. Their faces showed a trace of shock which later on faded into acceptance.

"I really should have expected it. Usually, only people from the underworld are aware of my ident.i.ty as Zeus. I should have known from the start. But if you're not from Hua Xia division, where are you based from?"

Qin Jiran said to her to which the other three nodded in agreement with. Hong Zhen Yue also thought of this. He was already suspicious at the beginning. Such combat skills weren't ordinary. It made sense for her to be part of that world.

But what really interested him and the others in the room to know was the answer to the latter part of Jiran's statement. After all, almost all of Hua Xia are under Hades' power. It was expected she wasn't from Hua Xia. because if she was she would have long been roped under Hades considering her capabilities. However, they were also baffled because she's been in Hua Xia for years already. How come she has gone unnoticed?

"I left my family when I came here and lied low. Actually, I already decided to quit back then. However, circ.u.mstances has given me no choice but to come back." Yan Qing Shan turned away from them and paused for a while. Afterwhich she looked straight into their eyes, her expression warming up a little and continued.
