Kris was speechless. Sky was the first and only girl who was ready to make him a brother. "You are weird." Kris's head throbbed thinking as her EQ was exceptionally low.

"I know" Sky replied unemotionally and looked around for her brothers feeling hungry.

He was at loss again. He took a deep breath, "Can we be friends?"

"Oh! I didn't know you are a kid who makes friends asking, Will you be my friend?" Sky remarked sarcastically.

"If not, you will make me your brother. So that's the safe route." He made a pitiful look.

Sky laughed looking at him. "Refined, elegant, sophisticated President Lan is looking distressed in front of a girl. How is the headline?"

Kris started laughing with her. There laugh p.r.i.c.ked Arlo who was looking at them the whole time. If gaze could really cut the body, Kris would have been chopped into numerous pieces.

After about a few minutes, Sky excused herself and went towards Jai to have dinner.

Sky fed Mia as she ate. Jai, Loran, Ethan, Sam, and Daniel sat with them and ate. After dinner, Daniel was leaving with Mia hence Sky went down to send them off.

Then she went to the rooftop party where the employees were at the masquerade party. She was searching the mask but she didn't like any of them. Somebody stretched their hand in front of her holding a red color lace mask.

She liked it hence she took it and raised her head to look the owner of the hand who was wearing a black mask covering around their eyes and half face. Sky asked unsurely, "Arlo?"

She never missed noticing his pupils. "Hmm" Arlo responded still in awe.

'That idiot Ryan couldn't identify me again. And here you are.' He thought to himself and smiled.

"Good that you are here. I was thinking about how to go alone." Sky said as she tried to tie her mask ribbon.

Arlo went behind her, tied it for her like a gentleman and extended his arm for her to hook her hand. Since it was a masquerade ball, she held his arm and went in. After checking everything once, she met Rony and Andy there.

"Did you guys eat?" Sky asked. "We had a few minutes back." Rony replied.

Sky hummed, "You two should go and rest. I and Arlo will manage the rest. And Andy! Come to my office tomorrow with Rony. It will take only half an hour maximum. Rony! I hope it's not a problem."

"Ms.Sky, I will come with Brother Andy." Rony responded in awe.

"Okay, rest early. See you tomorrow." Sky bid them and left with Arlo.

Arlo asked after reaching a fair distance from them, "Ms.Sky, Are you going to the office tomorrow?" Harley corporation gave paid holiday on both Thursday and Friday hence n.o.body would be in the office.

Sky hummed, "I have to finish a full week's work this weekend."

Arlo's lips tilted up thinking he can go to the office.

"What about your studies? Ms.Sky, Can you complete it if you keep skipping?"

"You are there so nothing to worry." Sky replied nonchalantly but paused the next second, "I forgot to ask, Did you eat?"

"Nope!" Arlo only stood far and looked at her whole time cursing Kris in his mind.

"Stupid!" Sky then strode towards the buffet and left his hand. "Go on."

Arlo checked a few and kept the plate aside. "What's wrong?"

"Starters are cold and there is only leftover." Arlo said and sat on the chair next to her.

"It's ten! Of course, there will be nothing." Sky stood up and tugged his blazer.

"Let's go-to restaurant on the second floor. You can order and eat there." Sky said. She knew he worked all day alongside them. So she didn't feel good seeing him starving.

Arlo took his mobile out and sent a series of messages to a number as he followed her.

When they reached the second floor, the restaurant was closed.

She looked around the spotted Manager walking towards them, "Ms.Barton, Do you need any help?"

"Why is your restaurant closed so early?" Sky asked.

"There were no customers hence we closed it." Manager lied without batting an eyelid.

"Is there a good restaurant in the mall across the road?" Sky asked thinking about where she can send Arlo.

"They are average. If you want, you can use our restaurant kitchen." The manager said as instructed by Arlo.

"That's good. Thank you... Arlo, Go, cook and eat." Sky said and was about to go upstairs, he held her hand gently and quickly. "Aren't you coming with me?"

The manager widened his eyes in shock.

Sky turned back to Arlo, "... Oh! You don't like to eat alone... Send a message to Sam that I'm here with you. I don't have my phone with me."

The manager wanted to puke blood hearing that Arlo doesn't like to eat alone. More shocking was seeing him clinging on to a girl.

'Boss, is this really you? Are you an imposter.' He thought to himself and looked at Arlo who held Sky's hand as he entered the restaurant...

Sky sat on the kitchen counter and munched on strawberries as she watched Arlo cook simple soup noodles. "How can you be so fast? Won't you get scared chopping your fingers?"

Arlo smiled, "You have asked me this question minimum thirty to forty times till now."

"Oh!" It's true because she always asked whenever she saw him chopping vegetables which gives her gooseb.u.mps.

"Who told you to be good at chopping vegetables?" Sky said and stuffed her mouth with the whole strawberry puffing her cheeks.

Arlo pa.s.sed the tissue to her bringing it from the rack and took her bowl.

"He.." Sky closed her mouth with hands to eat first. By the time she finished, Arlo chopped leftover strawberries and handed her the bowl with a fork.

"See! I ate one strawberry and you chopped ten in that time." Sky shook her head and held the fork to eat.

"Do you want to try?" Arlo waved the knife unsure if she would agree. "No no, I don't use sharp objects." Sky rarely used knives.

"It isn't that difficult. Come here." Arlo carefully pulled her down, kept the bowl aside and handed her the big chef knife.

"Holy! Why is it heavy? Fruit knives are good." Sky saw the sharp edge and gulped her saliva.

Arlo pushed some spring onions for her to chop.

"Really? I don't think I can manage it." Her speed was right opposite to Arlo's speed.

Arlo controlled his laughter and looked at her in surprise. When she finished and turned to him, Arlo yawned on purpose and teased, "By the time you finish, I will take a nap and come."
