"Huh?" Sky looked at the time left for the chicken in the oven and pointed it to him. "I think, I will finish before that time."

He chuckled and continued julienning the carrots. Sky contemplated and called. "Arlo?"

He curiously looked at her who was calling him by her hand gesture holding a fry. "What if I get stomach pain? Eat."

She held her hand near his mouth. He was surprised and his brows raised high forming a beautiful arc.

"Gos.h.!.+ Why do you raise your brows instead of opening your mouth?"

When he opened his mouth, she retracted her hand back. Arlo didn't know what to do. He would have embarra.s.sed to death if somebody else was present.

"I was eating by my hand. Get me a fork for you." Sky calmly said still holding the fry in air.

Arlo bent and took the fry to his mouth before saying her dialogue, "Perfect way to eat and enjoy french fries is using fingers."

Sky chuckled and ate as she fed him in between. Then cooking was finished, she prepared the table and waited for him to get the Chicken salad.

"Wine?" Arlo saw two gla.s.ses of red wine on the table and asked.

"Only one gla.s.s each. If you don't want, you can make something for yourself." Sky said as she served his plate before serving herself.

"Why are you in so hurry?" Arlo had just kept it on the table, she started to serve.

"It's looking yummy. And it's been a week I had your lunch excluding that sandwich and little soup." Sky replied without hesitation.

Arlo hesitated to ask, "So... you missed me?"

"Chicken is very tender." Sky tasted and praised his cooking every time. "Why? Did you miss me during lunch?" Sky asked him back.

Arlo regretted asking. Shouldn't she just answer? He thought to himself and half lied, "You can say that... You didn't answer me."

Sky took the time to finish the chicken in her mouth and replied, "Hmm..." Arlo was elated but next second he was jealous of the food he prepared, "...I missed your lunches"

"Brother Jai and Sam are good cooks too. So I didn't miss much." Sky finished saying before eating.

'I was asking about me, she is talking about lunch.' Arlo finished his wine in a go looking at her.

Sky furrowed brows then poured some more wine in his gla.s.s as she knew his tolerance was good unlike her... (sob)

Later Sky went back to work. After cleaning, Arlo helped her to organize some work before starting to study.

Sky again went to Harley corporation on Sat.u.r.day to finish the pending works. Since Sam was busy with work, Clark was sitting with her playing on his cell phone.

After about an hour Arlo knocked on the door and entered inside. Sky glanced at him and went back to file before asking, "Don't you have anything else other than following me around?"

"No!"

'Important is you, Why will I care about other things?'

"I'm free so I came." Arlo said and sat in front of her.

Clark rolled his eyes at him and stood up, "Sister Sky, Since he is here, I will go back. Call me if anything."

Sky knew he was bored sitting there hence she nodded and asked him. "Dad isn't home for dinner today. Shall we go out? Do you want to eat anywhere?"

"Can we go?" Clark asked excitedly but next second it dampened.

Sky raised her head and asked, "What's wrong?"

"We will go next time. Brother Sam is busy with Brother Peter. We shouldn't take the risk without them." Clark spoke reasonably.

Sky understood him and smiled. "Sure! Next time then."

Clark nodded and left after glaring at Arlo. The latter ignored him and sat with her till lunchtime.

Around four in the afternoon, Sky received a second video call request. Arlo just glanced at her when receiving, he became all ears to know the person.

Because he was stunned when he heard Sky talking for more than half an hour with Jai and Loran talking about everything. Whenever she spoke to him, he never felt her as talkative until he silently heard one side conversation of the call.

Instead of getting irritated, he was seeing all her face reaction which he had only got a few till now. He was envious of Barton brothers from the day one. So he wished that call shouldn't be from them again.

"Hey! Little girl." Sky didn't wear headphones and kept the phone in front of her, leaning it on pen stand.

Arlo identified the caller when Sky spoke. Then a little girl's voice heard from another end whose voice was grim. "Sister Sky! Did you forget about me and what I asked? Why didn't you send the lipsticks and makeup remover yet? I was waiting for it."

Sky didn't forget but she thought Mia would forget or Daniel must have explained to her but now she was at loss. Sky held her ears, "Sorry Sorry. I was busy in the office. Shall I come today and bring it myself?"

Mia thought for a while crossing her arms looking at Sky who was holding her ears. "Sister Sky, Since you are personally coming, I will forgive you. And don't hold ear like that in front of anybody else."

Sky left her ears and asked curiously, "Why is that?"

"If you act so cute, somebody will kidnap you. Don't worry, I will not do anything to you." Mia said in all seriousness.

'She is brilliant than her age.' Arlo thought to himself as his eyes didn't leave Sky's face.

Sky laughed at her remarks, "Mia, Don't worry. Your Handsome Sam will not let others kidnap me. You can kidnap me though." Then she gave a cheeky smile.

"Okay Sister Sky, I will kidnap you when I grow little taller." Mia didn't look like she was joking.

She controlled her laughter, "Sure!...

... I will see you soon." She waved and hang up after talking for some time.

She soon checked one last file for the day. She called Clark and informed him about her plan and left her office with Arlo. She asked Arlo for studying on Sunday and left with Clark.
