Arlo thought she had a point. He only has to keep her happy. The rest? he didn't care. Seeing her sleep far away, he was perplexed, "Sky! why are you sleeping there?"

He moved to the center of the bed and tried to get her but she slipped off. "What if you break again? I'm not coming. And addiction kills. If you do anything again, it will be difficult to sleep alone."

By the time she finished, he reached her and took the bowl from the bedside table, "It will not break."

Seeing him drop bowl, Sky shouted, "Arlo!" But the bowl was intact. She sighed internally understanding what he meant.

She got down and took the bowl to go out. Arlo thought she got angry and held her hand immediately and explained anxiously, "I was just showing it is stronger now."

Sky nodded innocently, "I will try from the balcony and check."

Seeing his helpless look and fluttering eyelashes with his widened eyes looking at her, Sky burst into laughter, "I was kidding."

She kept the bowl back and went into his arms who was still calming his heart.

Hearing his heartbeat was still on high after some time, Sky spoke softly. "I got to know why I chose all the dark feathers for you. Your all different versions from behaving like kid to shameless man are only with me. Means without me, you are just a dark canvas. So your all colors belong to me, ONLY ME."

After hearing her, Arlo's lips tilted up forming a beautiful curve on his perfectly chiseled face which hadn't appeared for a really long time. He kissed her on the crown and cuddled to sleep.

Sky didn't allow him to work out, so she went alone. Arlo insisted on going to the office hence he went with Sky in the same car saying 'I will not drive separately and how can I press on the gas pedal.'. Excluding Ryan, the other three believed him.

Sam and Peter stood by the car and looked at two silhouettes entering the elevator. Peter asked Sam as he rested his elbow on Sam's shoulder "Why is President Smith acting as a weakling?"

Sam moved aside which made Peter stumble. "Wrap your hands or legs and go to your wife. You will understand."

Peter actually took him seriously and tried out to know it. But the morning he was kicked out of the home for putting on a show.

Sky ordered Arlo not to walk around before entering her office. David had informed her new secretary would be coming and she reached on time.

"Ms.Sky! I'm Clara White! Chairman Harley appointed me as your secretary." A mid-thirties woman introduced herself. After hearing her say 'Ms.Sky' Sky understood she had a rough idea of how to be in the Harley Corporation.

Sky nodded. "Since you have experience with the work, I hope you will get adjusted to here soon. He is Andy Gill, a.s.sistant. You will report to him for the first month before handling work on your own. No slacking off... You can leave now."

"And Andy..." Sky called his name. "I will supervise Ms.White." Andy responded knowing what she was expecting.

Sky nodded and got back to work. Clara who went out first nodded at Arlo as a greeting before Andy exited. The latter introduced Arlo and Clara to each other before he explained and a.s.signed work to her.

Clara was Arlo's secretary for the past seven years. He transferred her here and Ryan explained everything. Clara didn't know the relations.h.i.+p between Arlo, Sky, and Ryan but she was loyal to her work. She had one question, 'Why is President Smith working as Secretary of President Harley?'

Arlo chose her because even if Sky and Arlo couldn't go to the office, she was capable of handling many things alone.

Sky had three meetings the whole day, she asked Arlo not to walk around but he ignored and went with her. Sky had ordered food so that he didn't have to stand and cook.

When Sky went out to get water to take a small walk, she saw Arlo walking by himself in smaller steps. He was holding her hand all-day saying he needs support whenever she was around.

She went towards him and waved her hand, "Need it?"

He didn't continue his act as Sky already knew it. He glanced behind where the other two were busy with work then he pulled Sky to him and whispered as he caressed her cheek, "When you are mine! Isn't your hand is also mine?"

Sky elbowed him and stood away, "Secretary Arlo, why are you wasting time? Go back to work." After finis.h.i.+ng in a serious tone, she strode off.

'Did you forget there are cameras?' She glared at him once before getting inside the office.

He chuckled knowing why she ran away. He was taking a walk as he felt his leg numb but he got caught to her.

After finis.h.i.+ng some work, Sky made some calls to confirm a few things before leaving the Harley corporation with Sam and Arlo.

Sky had told Sam to take them to Luxury Empire for dinner. The smart Sam knew why she was taking him to dinner.

"Birthday dinner?" Sam asked with an 'I know' look.

"Smartness kills you fast." Sky behaved like angered.

All had dinner in the private room including Ryan and Ethan. After dinner, Sky pa.s.sed him an outfit. "Try, try. Let me see how you look."

Sam flicked on her head before going to the restroom for changing. Even if he says he would try later, he knew Sky wouldn't leave so he agreed.

"Go! Go! Go!" Sky sent off everyone once they made sure Sam went in to change and she waited for Sam.

Sam soon returned but was shocked to see Sky alone inside. Sam was wearing ripped jeans, boots, a white t-s.h.i.+rt. It was simple but he carried it off well. She pa.s.sed him a watch. "There you go!"

Then she put on a round hat that completely changed his outlook. He looked a lot younger with a hint of friskiness. Even though he maintained a cold and stern expression, a simple smile would give a perfect touch to the outfit.

Sam asked looking suspiciously at her "Where are others?"
