Now that Linri gained a minion he did not have anything to do aside from eating dinner. Once, he was in the cafeteria he checked to see if there were any people he could recognise. There were some he had some idea about who they might be but they were not people he wanted to interact with yet. Kris and the gang were also not here and since Six did not follow him here Linri had dinner all by himself.

When he finished his dinner, Linri excused himself to his room. He wanted to check if his roommate had arrived. To be honest he did not like Phantom as a person and he also didn't like his RP character. If he were to give a reason it would probably because the character was too much of an MC. The moment he joins a conversation it always felt like he was the one in the spotlight and the others were the side characters. Maybe that was because he was a better writer than the other people in the club. Anyway, he did not like the guy. Actually, that was the reason he wanted to meet with his roommate too. He wanted to see if he still had that MC aura around him.

Linri made his way to room 302. On the door, there were two nameplates, Linri Harclaw and Riku Hagane. He could hear voices coming behind the door. It seemed like multiple people were chatting inside. Linri hesitated whether he should walk in or not. He did not know why. I mean he was an excellent liar and a pretty social manipulator but he always had trouble confronting people when he had nothing to gain from it. If he walked in now he would just feel awkward and stay silent not knowing what to say.

He frowned and put his hand on the handle. He was not the timid Max from before. He was Linri. He had amazing abilities, a handsome face and most importantly a sick white hair. He was the cool guy now. So you are gonna open the door and walk-in. Then-

While Linri was hyping himself up the door suddenly opened. A girl with dark-grey hair and onyx black eyes walked out of the room. She was wearing a military-style jacket. She did notice Linri so they collided. He could have dodged her but he was surprised by her appearance. Her demeanour and looks were really similar to him, almost as if she was a gender-bent version of Linri.

"Hey, what's the big deal?" She did not take a second to put the blame onto him.

"What? Am I banned from coming to my own room?" he replied sarcastically. This definitely felt better. He thrived in conflicts. So, on the surface, while he might look like he was annoyed, he was actually quite happy inside.

"Yeah? Then why are you standing around instead of walking in?" replied the girl just as sarcastic and pushed him aside before walking away. Wow! Now that was a girl he wanted to date! Obviously, that was just a joke but she seemed much more compatible with him. Then again if they dated he would basically be dating himself. Now that brought upon an ancient question asked by countless weebs in the world. If you dated a gender-bent version of yourself does that count as masturbation?

"Aren't you the guy who talked up to Zero?" A guy with blond hair and bright blue eyes walked up to him. He was wearing a dark orange windbreaker and his most defining feature was the black katana strapped onto his waist. This was Riku Hagane, his future roommate.

"Yeah, nice to meet ya Riku. Who was that chick anyway?" Linri replied while looking at the girl who was going down the stairs. He was interested in her because Linri could not remember a single thing about her.

"Her? She is Ashley, a soph.o.m.ore. How did you know my name anyway?" Linri rolled his eyes. Why did people keep asking him this question today? First, it was Roy, then Elizabeth and now Riku.

"It was on the door" said Linri while pointing towards the nameplate on the door. He walked inside to see three people sitting inside. One of them was a boy with orange hair and a calm look. He was wearing a white s.h.i.+rt oversized gloves and a green vest. He looked like a game character. I mean who even wears oversized gloves in this day and age! He should be Marius.

The other one was a girl with short brown hair and big round gla.s.ses. If Linri's guess was right she was Eclairee's character and Riku's future girlfriend, Natsumi.

Then that would mean the guy sitting next to her should be her twin brother Akira. Once Linri looked at his face, he could see the resemblance. Except for the fact that his gla.s.ses were rectangular and gave him a more serious look. The Fujisaki siblings with the ability to predict the future. Their abilities were based on tarot cards. Natsumi had the sun based deck while Akira's was moon-based. They could both predict the future but since it was a game that was just a flavour. It should be different now, shouldn't it?

"Sup" Linri nodded his head while walking towards his bed and laying on it. He did not want to seem too desperate for human connection. So he wanted them to talk to him first while seeming like a cool person. Was he being too pretentious? Maybe? Did he care? No.
