Seeing the despairing expression on his Empress' face and his three beloved daughters who have yet to wake up, he almost gave out the edict of exterminating those retainers' families. Rou Xi, on the other hand, was the purer one. She didn't dabble in the dark underworld or in the dirty politics. With her bright and cheerful personality, her path towards stardom was quite smooth. It was actually a wonder how she didn't have any enemies in the compet.i.tive entertainment world.

The only hiccup that they encountered in that life was the madman who became obsessed with Rou Xi. That man's obsession started out with his desire to obtain their friend. He tried to get closer to Rou Xi, but because the security around her, courtesy of her company, is too strict, the man wasn't able to achieve his goals.

That is why, he planned and planned until one chilly night, when they least expect it, he dragged Rou Xi down the parking lot and was able to kidnap her.

Before he can carry out his evil desires though, Lou Yi and Qian Yu, Rou Xi's self-appointed guards were able to triangulate the girl's location and safely rescue her from her captor.
