Virtual Empire 9 Entering The Game

"Step through the gate to enter the game "

As James walked through the portal, he was blinded by a light. As he recovered, he realized where he was. He was in the sky on a giant floating city.

"All players, come to the central building within 5 minutes if you want to pick your main cla.s.s."

James quickly made his way to the central building, only to find a sea of players. James didn't go directly into the crowd, instead he decided to stay at the edges, but he could still hear everyone cursing at each other, and launching dumb insults.

"Look at all these idiots, all trying to get in the front. What, do they think that they'll get a special prize for being in front? Hmph, what a bunch of morons.", said a voice behind James. The person who said that was an incredibly handsome man, about the same age, as him with blonde hair and red eyes.

"Well, it looks like-," the man suddenly stopped as he looked at James.

"You there, how did you get different colored eyes? The system would not allow me to do such a thing."

"Oh, this umm, I got it from the gift boxes before I went into the game", James made up on the spot.

"Is that so," said the man as he left no longer interested.

'That was interesting.'

Then someone appeared on stage. It was a big muscular man and a slender woman.

"I know you all want to get into the game and start killing things, but we have to explain a few things first. In order to pick your your cla.s.s, you need to go through some testing to see all of your apt.i.tude's on certain aspects. Next my partner here will tell you the situation of the world."

The man stopped talking, then the woman started to talk.

"There are five known continents in the world. They are known as the North continent, West continent, East continent, South continent, and the Central continent. Each major race owns one of the continents, except for the Central continent. The human race owns the north, beast clans in the west, elves in the east, and the monster races in the south. The Central continent is the largest continent with the most resources, so it is in a state of eternal war, as all the races want it. Since you are all human, you will all be sent to the Northern continent. With that out the way, we will shortly begin the apt.i.tude testing, and then we will send you all to some destination."
