As soon as the beast draw near w.a.n.g Xing Cun jump to the right side of the best and punched the flank side of the beast. The beast flinched for a bit as it rampaged once more as the beast managed to hit w.a.n.g Xing Cun in his chest as he was thrown away towards a nearby tree.

"f.u.c.k." w.a.n.g Xing Cun exclaimed as he looked at his chest that had a shallow 3 claw wound on his chest. He looked at the beast with grin in his face as he climbed up the tree with the bear following him albeit slower. w.a.n.g Xing Cun jumped in to another tree branch as he jumped toward the bear to kick it's back hoping it would break its spine.

After the beast received the kick it roared in pain as it fell down the tree. w.a.n.g Xing Cun looked at the beast from afar as to what happened to the beast. The beast looked at w.a.n.g Xing Cun with it bloodshot eyes as it crazily roared at him and w.a.n.g Xing Cun smirked at its actions as it looked like a kid having a tantrum.

w.a.n.g Xing Cun rapidly jumped down from tree to tree to get near the beast and position his body while he is at it. As soon as he found a good spot to land he went down as fast as he could as the beast ran toward him hoping it can kill this annoying prey. The beast opened it mouth to bite w.a.n.g Xing Cun but, alas, w.a.n.g Xing Cun is faster than the beast as he forcefully closed the mouth of the beast.

"Shut up and stay down." said w.a.n.g Xing Cun as he twist his body to the left side of the beast then slammed the head of the beast to the ground as the beast cried in pain while looking at w.a.n.g Xing Cun with very angry look. w.a.n.g Xing Cun slashed the throat of the beast to finish it off. The beast's eyes was going from bloodshot to lifeless as the beast died.

"There it is, The Tier 1 Normal grade Beast Core." w.a.n.g Xing Cun said as he found the Beast Core in the head of the beast. w.a.n.g Xing Cun grinned ear to ear as he held the Beast Core in two hands. "Finally I can make a good weapon with this Beast Core, what weapon will I make?" w.a.n.g Xing Cun said in his mind. "A sword for short range attack with agility and power? A Spear for long range and consecutive attacks? or A scythe for fast mid range attacks and agility?" w.a.n.g Xing Cun kept asking himself as he told himself "let me think about the possibilities of the weapons while walking home."

He tied the bears body on a rope together with other creatures bodies and put it on his back. While running towards the river to wash off the blood from the beast's bodies he found an unconscious injured wolf cub. Felt pity for the little creature he held the creature in one hand while the other is holding the creatures body. After he wash off the blood of the creatures off their body he ran toward the base as fast as he could so no other beast could follow him to the base.

When he arrived on the base he was greeted by Ming Zhans.h.i.+ who helped him carried the bodies of the creatures while having a shocked expression on his face

"Where did you find all these creatures and this little guy?" said Ming Zhans.h.i.+.

"Deep within the forest and I found this little guy unconscious nearby a tree." w.a.n.g Xing Cun replied.

w.a.n.g Xing Cun also reminded them of what they will prepare for the journey tomorrow as he went to his blacksmith house and got some steel ingots that he bought from a shop before the apocalypse.

"I've decided that I will make a Scythe as my weapon." w.a.n.g Xing Cun said as he grabbed the [Enhanced Steel Ingots] that mutated after the virus escaped and threw it towards the furnace.

Minutes had past as the metals has started to melt into liquid. w.a.n.g Xing Cun quickly threw the Tier 1 Beast Core into the molten steel as the color of the steel turned into silver. w.a.n.g Xing Cun got the molten steel into a scythe mold and still have some molten steel enough for 3 throwing knifes.

w.a.n.g Xing Cun waited till the Scythe harden in the mold as he got it out of the mold using tongs as the Scythe is still hot. He put the Scythe in the furnace again to heat it up and hammer it then repeat the process 3 times before putting it into water to cool it down. 5 hours had past since he cooled down the Scythe before he got the scythe and begin the sharpening process. As soon as w.a.n.g Xing Cun finished his Tier 1 Normal grade Scythe he tried it out for a few swings before commenting on its performance.

w.a.n.g Xing Cun is very satisfied with his weapon as he was a Weapon Master and a weaponsmith at the same time in his previous life that loves to craft weapons and try it out while reforging the weapons he rated as inferior products to be used by the alliance.

As soon as he finished trying out his new "toy" he told Ming Zhans.h.i.+ to let the others gather in the hall as he will give another lecture about the apocalypse. After they all arrived in the hall and sat on a chair he started lecturing them about another topic about the apocalypse.

"Let us start about the Evolved Beasts. All Evolved beast come from the present animals here on Earth that evolved from being a normal animal to an Evolved Beast. All Evolved Beasts are graded from Level 1 of Tier 1 to an unknown tier level. You will know the grade of the Evolved beast based on their Marks they have on their body. Although some beasts are large and look slow don't be fooled by their appearance as some can be fast while looking slow as h.e.l.l. You can categorized beasts as a [Beast Type], [Insect Type], [Reptile Type], [Bird Type] or a [Fish Type] with another 3 categories that can be [Agility-based], [Strength-based] or [Magic-based] beasts. And there can also be a hybrid type beast. Though that is a possible mutation of one to a million."

"The hardest and most problematic hybrid mix is [Beast Type]-[Agility and Strength-Based] since they have an innate ability of being fast while having the boost of strength and agility together with their razor sharp claws and fangs."

"The most problematic normal type of beasts are the [Insect Type]-[Agility-based] as they have poisonous fangs and small bodies that is hard to find because they are small and agile. Small tip : Always carry an antidote even though you are not going to the wild because [Insect Type] beasts are small and has a chance to be found inside the camp."

"While the least problematic type of beasts are the [Beast Type]-[Strength-Based] as for why? They are very strong but being big and slow is their problem. They have strength that can break the ground but what is the use of strength without the agility to back it up?"

"As for the bodies of the Evolved Beasts. Every Evolved Beasts have a Beast Core inside their head. The Tier of the Beast Core is based on the Tier of the beast and its grade."

"The grade of the beast is cla.s.sified into Normal grade, Excellent grade, Perfect grade and Peak grade. The grades are the same with the Human Rank Tiers as Normal grade is Level 1-3, Excellent grade is Level 4-6, Perfect grade is Level 7-9 while Peak grade is Level 10."

"If the beast is cla.s.sified as a Tier 1 Excellent grade Evolved beast. Then the Beast Core would be Tier 1 Excellent grade Beast Core. If you make a weapon out of that Beast Core then you can get a Tier 1 Excellent grade Weapon or even a Perfect grade if provided the right materials."

"As for the equipment, they are have the same cla.s.sification as beasts. Tier 1-3 weapons are called Normal Weapons, Tier 4-6 are called Augmentation weapons while the weapons above that are probably a myth." w.a.n.g Xing Cun explained as he thought "The Spirit Cla.s.s weapons are indeed a myth right now because the apocalypse just started and the materials used to create it is still being developed below the surface of the earth."

After he finished the lecture he told them to separate the usable materials of the beasts and their meat and put them into a metal container with salt and vinegar to let the meat last longer before getting eaten.
