He shrugged. If he was going to go out, it will be in a blaze of glory. He took a deep breath and pounced onto one of the creatures. At the same time, he gave a battle cry. Radley quickly looked around and saw a creature leaping towards him. He did a rolling dive to avoid the incoming attack. He attempted to roll towards the carca.s.s and succeeded, but more creatures pounced towards him. He did another rolling dive and at the same time ripped the axe-head from the dead beast's neck. Two creatures pounced at him at the same time. Radley did a twist on the spot and slammed with his axe hilt into one knocking him off trajectory and used his ability combined with the axe-head and slammed it into the other creature's forehead. Remarkably the axe head was still in one piece. It killed the creature. Another popup: 425 Invo points. 2 Diff points. He got hit in the side and went sailing through the air. He hit the ground, hard. It felt like all of his bones were broken. He checked his health. There was a sliver left. His stamina wasn't looking any better.

He grabbed his water bottle which was still surprisingly intact after all the action he had gone through. He drank the contents hoping it would help with his stamina. Even if only a little bit. To his surprise, it went up by quite a bit. The beasts were hesitating to attack by now and slowly walked around looking for an opportunity. Radley had his back against a tree. He was eyeing every one of them waiting for a moment.

One pounced as Radley. He jammed a foot into its neck and grabbed the arm and activated his ability one last time and crashed it into the tree behind him. Whoa! Now he could say he was a happy boy. But his work was not done yet. The first thing he needed was some much-needed rest, but he needed to be safe. He collected the creatures and dragged them and placed them together under a blue-leaf tree.

He climbed into the tree himself after he removed the axe head. He broke off a piece of a vine which he wrapped around himself and the base of the tree. He just hoped that no creature would eat his kills during his rest. He went through his skills to see what he could buy with his Diff points. He saw something called toxin detection which he bought for 5 Diff points. He looked into upgrading his instant reaction but saw it cost 50 points. Holy c.r.a.p, upgrades were expensive.

He decided to spare his points, but something else caught his attention. Upgrade of life generation to level two? Life generation. He carefully looked at his health bar. It was indeed higher. That literally meant he was healing at an incredible rate. Radley smiled, "Well, Diff. I take my words back. You are pretty d.a.m.n useful."

Radley closed his eyes to get some rest as he dreamt of dreamless sleep.
