“Don’t cry, Aunt, I have already sent someone to look for Anan.”

Jing Yichen had just hung up the call from Mu Qing when Zhao Zhao called. She was crying so dreadfully as if Zhao Anan had gone forever.

Jing Yichen allowed her to vent her sadness, patiently. Half an hour later when she stopped crying, Jing Yichen said this simple sentence.

He was not good at consoling people. He would have hung up the phone ages ago if it had not been his aunt on the other side.

Listening to her crying for half an hour was more taxing than sending someone to seek for Zhao Anan.

Shangguan Ning draped an overcoat and walked out of the bedroom seeing that Jing Yichen was still on the phone for such a long time.

She had just come out when Jing Yichen hung up Zhao Zhao’s call.

Sitting next to him on the sofa, Shangguan Ning leaned against his shoulders and asked drowsily, “What is it going on?”

Jing Yichen had yet to answer when his phone rang again.

Zheng Jing’s voice arose when the call went through. “Master Jing, Zhao Anan might be in the UK!”

He repeated what Zheng Lun had said. “Maybe we can start by checking the real estate properties there.”

Jing Yichen said in composure, “Okay, I got it. Try searching A City too. We have to be sure that she hasn’t come back here.”

After hanging up the phone, Jing Yichen noticed that Shangguan Ning had sat straight up and was frowning.

“What happened?”

“Anan is missing! I just learnt from Zheng Jing that she might possibly still be in the UK. I will send someone to look for her, right now.”

Jing Yichen called Tiger before explaining anything more to Shangguan Ning. “Tiger, let Lu come back alone first. You stay there. We must use all of our forces in the UK to find Zhao Anan. She might have hidden herself in the country or she might have been kidnapped. Whatever the case is, find her and bring her back.”

Tiger answered in affirmative after realizing how serious the issue was.

Shangguan Ning was still shocked after Jing Yichen finished the call. She had not managed to recover from the startling news.

Zhao Anan had been getting along so well with Mu Qing these past days and even visited Family Mu with him. Mu Qing had also met Zhao Anan’s family. The matter seemed to be close to settling.

Then, why did she dump Mu Qing again?!

It must be killing Mu Qing!

Seeing Shangguan Ning transfixed, Jing Yichen consoled her involuntarily. “Don’t worry, that is her style. She always does this and disappears. Tiger will find her soon. Don’t worry.”

Shangguan Ning didn’t worry about Zhao Anan much. She didn’t know that Yang Muyan had come to Mu Qing and threatened him about Zhao Anan.

Zhao Anan was bold and careful. She could live well by herself.

She was just worried that Zhao Anan was so silly that she would rather live by herself throughout the entire life and bear the pain alone than drag Mu Qing down.

Shangguan Ning leaned against Jing Yichen and said softly, “When I see her again, I will force her to marry Doctor Mu.”

Jing Yichen chuckled. “Can you force her? I don’t think that you have it in you. Anan must have been born in the year of donkey, she is stubborn and annoying.”

“I have my own ways. I had thought that she should figure out the things with Mu Qing herself and I should not force her. But that didn’t work out. If needed, I would be the villain to force her, even if it means that she will hate me in the future.”

No one would wish a better life for Zhao Anan than for Shangguan Ning.

Zhao Anan was a good girl and deserved to be cherished and loved.

Jing Yichen would not have cared about Zhao Anan before. She was a grownup, not a child. She should be responsible for her own behaviors no matter what she set about doing.

But after he married Shangguan Ning, he was subconsciously affected by Shangguan Ning, and no longer treated people around him so coldly.

“Okay, let’s all give Zhao Anan a pus.h.!.+”

The couple decided cheerfully.

But Zhao Anan was quite skilled at running away and was not going to be found so easily. She had fabricated her pa.s.sport and ident.i.ty in the past and it was useless to find her with these things.

Tiger and his men had to use many methods to search for her. Zheng Jing also promised high rewards if the mission was completed.

After getting everything in order, Jing Yichen returned to work the following day. Shangguan Ning joined him as well.

In the skysc.r.a.per of Jingsheng Enterprise, the scent of coffee was permeating in the President’s Office.

Jing Yichen said helplessly as he was holding the coffee which Shangguan Ning made for him. “My wife, can’t you just stay at home? I can work. What you need to do is enjoy what I earn from working and teach good things to our baby. What are you doing here?”

Dressed in a navy suit and with a pair of black flat heel shoes, Shangguan Ning said something totally different from the answer to that question. “Do you think that I should get my hair trimmed? Half black and half gold makes me look so ugly. How will I meet clients looking like this?”

Jing Yichen put down the coffee mug, stood up and said seriously, “Mrs. Jing, you look very pretty and you don’t need to do anything about your hair. If anyone speaks ill of you, tell me and I will teach him a lesson!”

Shangguan Ning said reluctantly, “Alright, just leave it in this way.”

She showed a lovely smile to Jing Yichen, turned around and walked out of his office and entered her own.

She needed to go through all the pending materials. But there were too many doc.u.ments and items for her to finish in just a day.

Shangguan Ning picked out the most important ones and started to deal with those first.

But despite the pile of work, she still spared some time in the afternoon and visited Liyu Science & Technology.

She had not been to Liyu Science & Technology in a month and had only received the reports from two deputy presidents who awaited her decisions.

Although Liyu Science & Technology was nothing compared to the enormous Jingsheng Enterprise, yet the revenue was still magnificent. And the company possessed a special significance which made Shangguan Ning exceptionally devoted to it.

During the past two months, the company had been making more and more profits with the staff strength increasing to more than 500. Shangguan Ning was quite satisfied, so she decided to promote some young people on this visit.
