Cedric didn't show any reaction but chuckled inside. He focused on looking out the window. He pulled out his phone and looked at the message on the screen demanding him to come back to the building as there was something important to discuss. He sighed and when the car stopped he got out. "I am not sure how long this will take."

Sephira leaned closer and kissed Claude on the cheek. "Thank you."

Claude popped his head out the window, "take your time. I will be here waiting for when you complete what you came here for." He took his hand and grabbed Sephira's a.s.s.

Cedric walked away and went into the building. He went straight to the elevator and saw Sylvie a bit panicky."What has you all freaked out?"

Sylvie waited until the elevator doors were closed. "We have a problem. Claudia has somehow gotten it in her mind that I am with child but honestly I am not. I would know as that is normal for a vampire to know. Our thirst increases tenfold. I am still at a normal thirst level. I think she wants to pin a mythical pregnancy on you so that you take responsibility before you choose another partner." She places her hand on her forehead.

"That sounds like something my aunt would do." Cedric let out a sigh and pulled out an envelope. "Do you remember our agreement in the beginning that I made you sign because I knew my aunt would pull this s.h.i.+t. Let's put that into motion." Cedric placed the envelope back in his pocket before the door opened.

Sylvie looked scared at Cedric and followed behind him with her head down. She pa.s.sed him and went to Claudia's desk.

"What do you want this time? You know that I have a lot of work to do right?" Cedric looked at Claudia completely and utterly annoyed.

"Don't you use that tone with me! You knocked up my secretary. I demand that you take her as your wife! Besides, I know that you took some s.k.a.n.k to the movies last night." Claudia banged her hands on the table and stood up.

"That 's.k.a.n.k' was another slave that I killed. I do that and you should know that. As for Sylvie," he looked her up and down, "we already had an agreement if something like this were to happen." He pulled out the envelope and handed it to Claudia.

Claudia tore the envelope from Cedric's hand then proceeded to tear it open. Inside was a folded piece of paper. She pulled it out and started to read it.

I, Sylvie Cannoli, are agreeing to the terms set form by Cedric Oukami.

1. I will not come to him asking for money.

2. We are only messing around and when Cedric is done with me I am to no longer disturb him.

3. If I happen to get pregnant then I will be responsible for the child and will not bother Cedric.

4. If I am to die by mistake then my next of kin will get the money allocated to me.

If I comply with the above terms then I will be granted a one-time lump sum of money of 5,000,000. All that is needed is a signature and a blood thumbprint.

At the bottom were both Cedric's and Sylvie's signatures and thumbprints. Sylvie looked at Cedric in horror and then covered her mouth. "I have not forgotten our agreement." Silent tears ran down her cheek.

"You expect me to believe that my nephew will not take responsibility for knocking up one of MY workers?" Claudia tried to tear the paper into pieces.

"First of all this is my company, I just let you run it. Second, you can't tear up a magic binding contract. So yeah I will not do anything about this. I am going to choose my own partner as I have always said and you know that if you try to pull this stunt again I will demote you to the lowly worker that you are. I will start by firing half the company. Oh better yet instead of a demotion I will fire you that way you will have no control over the company that my father built." Cedric took the signed contract back and then placed it back in his pocket. "Honestly if I had known that this is what you wanted I would've continued my shopping. I have fulfilled my desires for s.e.x for now."

Sylvie wiped her tears away and watched Cedric, "please don't throw me away. I will still be your s.e.x partner. I agreed to that contract and I knew the repercussions."

Claudia got up and rubbed Sylvie on the back, "my dear, I do not understand what you see in my nephew. I would introduce you to someone more gentle. You deserve to be loved. If I had known you signed a contract I wouldn't have let you go to someone so irresponsible." She shoots a glare at Cedric.

"I'm irresponsible because I didn't want to get tied down? Well, excuse me for being the smart one here. I am going to go and do what I need to and you two can sort out what you need to but do not involve me in something that does not involve me." Cedric walked away but before he left he said, "Sylvie, you can keep the child if you want. I won't cut you off as s.e.x with you is enjoyable but I will not help with the child." With that, he slammed the door.

Sylvie slid down on the floor on the spot and started to cry a little harder. "Thank… good- hic ness he di-didn't throw me away."
