“This must be Miss Feng Wu. Greetings, I am Yang Qing.” The young man swept a genteel bow at Fengxian Wu as soon as he walked in.

Fengxian Wu glanced at him and ignored the young man. Yang Qing rubbed his nose, not minding the snub.

“Yang Qing! How dare people from the Ascension Sword Sect show their face in a Dark Orchid va.s.sal nation?!” Cloudexit roared when he saw the young man.

“Only trash like you would ask such an idiotic question, Xu Chuyun.” Yang Qing cast a sidelong glance at Cloudexit.

Lu Yun’s eyes darted rapidly between them as he grasped what was playing out before him. The matter of the dao weapon had raised a great furor in the fourth and fifth rank empires. All manner of great factions had sent their disciples to investigate. Leading the delegations were the most accomplished of the younger generation. Cloudexit glowered, but there was nothing he could say to Lu Yun. Everything the latter said made sense. As for Li Wei, he’d kept up a litany of curses ever since being thrown into the enclosure.
