She looked at me but her face held different expressions.

She stood up, there was anger now etched on her face, "I lost them both in one day, they would all pay dearly. I am not strong enough, I would become stronger and take my revenge."

I went to hold her in my arms, hoping it would comfort her and heal her a bit.

We stayed there that night, I appeared a chair and sat with her. By morning, I decided to wake her, so she could get a proper rest but Isadora was burning up terribly when I touched her.

"Isadora, you are sick" I said waking her up. I placed a hand on her shoulders and helped her up. Midway in the room, Isadora pushed me aside and threw up.

"This is bad" I rushed to her side again.

After she puked, I decided to check her health using my magic and my eyes were filled with shock.

"You're pregnant" we both looked at each other, then the realisation dawned on us. At the same time our eyes went straight to Eric's dead body.

I watched as my daughter's mourning turned to rage, that anger, she channeled it and it became her motivation to be stronger to protect her child.

I made her Queen of both Kingdoms, as I felt it would help take her mind of her pain.

"Hmm, Leia I wonder where our daughter is" I said to myself.

Later I disappeared from the throne room and found myself in the history room. It was a big hall filled with portraits of kings and queens and important event.

My eyes ended up on a portrait at the one end of the hall. It was the portrait of the Sorcerer's king, my father and the fairy King, Leia's father. They held hands, the day of another treaty.

It was the day I met Leia. One peace treaty scattered my family and one treaty, well an alliance brought the family to be.

The first ever alliance marriage. Our people had met to discuss an alliance and the Fairies finally agreed. That day, we were to seal the alliance and all doc.u.ments, so the heirs were to be brought. It was a marriage alliance, we didn't have a say.

We never had met before then but when I saw her, I fell in love with her. That alliance was the start of a love so strong and I never regretted it.

I recall how she looked at me shyly from the sides, it made my heart beat. She was the prettiest fairy I'd ever seen. Her long golden brown hair, it reached below her back side.

Her wings, now that was something exquisite, they were big and powered above all, s.h.i.+ning light blue and it added to her beauty. I could never get tired of looking at her, as I stared at her the whole time which ended up making her red.

Boom!!!

That explosion... My eyes found their target, Isadora.

As I was lost in thoughts, I heard a familiar voice.

"There you are your majesty" the owner of the voice said.

It was Cedrick, I turned my head and saw three of them, Cedrick, Maximus and Alatar.

"I take it that you were looking for me because of the explosion?"

"Your majesty, it is definitely her" Alatar said.

"There is no one in all the magic realm with such powers" Maximus added.

"It definitely have to be her your majesty" Alatar said again.

I turned my gaze to Cedrick, "What do you think Cedrick?"

"The force of the explosion or magic surge is similar to the one eighteen years back but this time it is more powerful" Cedrick explained.

"So, in all sense what are you getting at Cedrick? Maximus asked.

"What he is trying to say is that unless Isadora has lost someone very dear to her again, then that is not my daughter" I cut in and explained.

"Your majesty, sorry but I am lost there" Maximus said with a look of confusion etched on his face.

"When the power surge happened after eighteen years, we felt she was in trouble. True as that was what had led he to release the same power surge eighteen years ago, but what would make Isadora release such power surge in the span of days?"

"It's not just her life that is threatened, someone dear to her. Except I can say the princess's life is threatened" Cedrick continued from where I stopped.

"But Queen Isadora had the princess hidden, so how then... "

"You once said no one in all the magic realm is as powerful as her. True but you are wrong, no one in the magic realm was as strong as her."

"Meaning, it is someone else and not the Queen?" Alatar asked.

"But who else is that powerful?" Maximus asked.

"Someone who surpa.s.ses Queen Isadora a half breed, someone of three races origin" Cedrick added.

Shock was registered on the faces of the others. "His majesty's granddaughter" Alatar said.

"The Princess!"
