Hidden Hallows 126 Becoming A Monster

Tristan takes another step back as he says "Eris... I'm giving you one last chance to work with me! Make the smart choice here!" My eyes begin to glow as I say "I already did. I won't stop until you're dead. I won't sleep, I won't rest... not until you've died in the slowest, most painful way possible."

Tristan clenches his teeth in anger and says "So be it! If you won't willingly work with me, I will just take what I need!" He suddenly pulls out a gun and shoots me! I flinch and jerk back, quickly covering my arm with shock and irritation.

I look down at the white blood pouring out of me with anger before looking back up at him and asking "Did you seriously just shoot me!? This couldn't be more human of you..." I use my magic to quickly heal the gun wound, even though it hurts, and step forward again.

He lifts the gun again but this time, it starts to crumble in on itself before he throws it away. I glare at him and say "Magic, remember?" He sneers at me while stepping further back and saying "It's fine. I only needed a little blood."

I freeze at his words. s.h.i.+t! I was so focused on killing this b.a.s.t.a.r.d I didn't...

Suddenly, the ground under me starts glowing an eerie red color! I curse and stumble back as a figure suddenly appears before me. When my eyes lock onto the figure, my stomach flips. Enzo gives me a devastating grin as he quickly glances around and says "You and I have unfinished busy. Isn't that right, Eris?"

Tristan steps farther away from both of us as he says "We had a deal Enzo. Her blood, for your freedom." Enzo doesn't take his eyes off me as he says "Are you trying to p.i.s.s me off?" to Tristan. I glance past Enzo and look at Tristan as I say "He seems to have a talent for it."

Tristan quickly says "Ah, don't forget. I'm the one who summoned you so you can't hurt me. You are under my control demon. Get me her blood." Enzo's teeth bare in disgust as he growls out "You're mistaken, human."

He quickly lifts a hand as I try to back away but I can't move my legs! I grit my teeth and try to move with my magic as Enzo slowly turns to face Tristan "I can't kill you, that's true but I'm not just any demon. You can't control an original, a dark prince."

Enzo lifts his other hand, causing the church to tremble! "You stole her blood for extended life but your magic is only temporary. You are human and always will be. You dare to take her from me!!? You, a lowly human! You were only able to get the blood you did because of the flower I gave you! Did you really think I wouldn't know how you tried to double-cross me!?"

I look between the two with confusion as I continue to struggle with the magical binds holding my feet in place. I quickly glance around for any signs of Kian but I don't see him or the demon freak. Tristan glares at Enzo as he says "You make it sound like you're all that but you're just a lowly, evil demon! You even needed her!"

I manage to slightly move my right foot as I look up in shock. The dude really is insane... But if Enzo kills him... I won't be able to find my mother's soul or my father and brother! I grit my teeth and try to think of something as Enzo's anger continues to grow.

Dark figures are suddenly seen crawling up out of the floors like zombies rising from the dead. s.h.i.+t s.h.i.+t s.h.i.+t... I nervously lick my lips and call out "Enzo... I need him alive." Tristan suddenly goes flying across the room and lands hard before me.

My heart races as I look up to find Enzo now facing me. He tilts his head to the side and says "Why? Because he claims to have your mother's soul? Eris, my love, I have your mother's soul, not this idiot. I have her soul and the two others."

Confused, I look back to Tristan trying to sit up. When I look back to Enzo, I say "I don't understand... you said you didn't kill my mother." Enzo glares down at Tristan as he says "Because I didn't. This idiot did after he created the demon he's working with. After hearing about this from you, I did a little investigating. I don't like it when other's start messing with MY things."

"The demon monstrosity running around up here needs to be put down," Enzo says as the dark figures continue to pull themselves out of the ground. I try my best to stay focused as Tristan glares at Enzo and says "You tricked me! You said you would help me get what I wanted!!"

Enzo looks at Tristan in disgust as he says "No, I'll help you do exactly what you want to do. I'll help you create a whole new world... you just won't be around to see it." I watch with wide eyes as one of the dark figures crawls over and grabs Tristan's leg.

I said earlier that they looked like zombies rising from the dead but that's exactly what I'm looking at now that I can finally see it! Tristan tries to jerk his foot away as he falls back down. He reaches out and grabs my leg and starts pleading "Eris! Please! Save me!! I'm sorry, okay! I made a mistake and I'm sorry! I'll do whatever I can to fix it, I promise!!"

I look down at him with shock and confusion. What the h.e.l.l is happening!? Everything just flip-flopped so suddenly... Enzo's low chuckle has me slowly looking back up to see him watching everything with delight.

Tristan holds onto my leg with desperation as he turns back to Enzo and yells "You can't kill me!! I summoned you!" Enzo's smile turns knowing as he says "Oh, but I'm not. They are." Tristan's shock filled eyes slowly look back down at the thing clawing at him before looking back up to me.
