Complex Romance 28 Do You Like Her?

Just as Teresa turned her head to the voice, she was so shocked to see him.

"Why are you here?" Asked Teresa.

"I'm here for the study group, William asked me to accompany him."

"What? Why is it you" Said Teresa as she opened her house gate for him to enter. The 'you' that she meant was Harry.

"Hey, what do you mean by that you shorty." Replied Harry as he pushed his bike into her house porch.

"One more word from you, and I'm gonna lock you out." Said Teresa as she pointed at Harry in a kidding tone.

"Hahahaha, okay, I'm sorry. So where is William? And who is the other friend you called? is it Jane?" Asked Harry.

"He is not here yet. No, Jane is having her tuition cla.s.s now, so I ask Zoey to accompany me."

As they were talking, Zoey had already reached. Zoey ran to Teresa to hug her like a Koala bear. Zoey was 164cm while Teresa was only 150cm, so because of their height difference it looked like a big sister hugging her little sister.

"Hey, long time no see." Said Zoey to Harry as she continued to hug Teresa.

"Hi, how are you? By the way I think you should let her go, she is getting crushed by you." Harry replied.

"No, I miss my Teresa so much! And what do you mean by getting crushed? Are you saying I'm fat? Teresa, look at him. He is bullying me."

"Harry, if you don't want to be kicked out, then stop bullying Zoey." Said Teresa in a protective and playful manner.

"What did I do?" he replied innocently.

"Hahahaha, don't be jealous okay? Teresa treats me better than you." Zoey replied proudly.

Harry rolled his eyes and ignored Zoey. Zoey purposely said that because she wanted to tease Harry as she suspected that he liked Teresa.

"Let's go in and wait for William." Said Teresa as she opened her house door for them to go in. She took them in her room as she did not want to disturb her family. Just as they were going to start studying, Teresa's mum came into her room to tell her that one of her friends had arrived and he was waiting outside for her. So, Teresa went down to lead William in.

When Teresa was away, Zoey asked Harry, "Hey Harry, you like Teresa right?"

Harry was shocked to hear that question and he did not know what to reply. He never thought of this question before. To him Teresa was a very close friend but he never actually thought if he had liked her or not.

"No, I don't like her. We are just good friends..." He replied as he did not know what else to say.

"Don't lie, why would you care for her so much if you don't like her?" Said Zoey as she continued, "Or do you say that because you yourself don't know the answer."

The second question that Zoey asked shocked him again. "Indeed why do I care about her so much... Do I really like her?" Thought Harry.

Harry was silent and did not reply to her second question as he was in deep thought, so Zoey continued on as she said, "Well, if you do not have an answer now, then you should seriously think about it. Teresa is a good girl, she is very kind, intelligent, honest and trustworthy. So if you like her you should go for it. However, she is also naive and has a very soft heart, so if you were ever to hurt her, I won't let you off the hook you hear me?"

This conversation happened too suddenly, Harry was totally blurr, he did not know what to say, but he was sure about one thing, which is he will never hurt Teresa.

"I know, don't worry, I would never hurt her." He replied.

They ended their conversation before Teresa and William came in.
