Complex Romance 29 Promise Me

Teresa, Zoey, Harry and William were studying for about 2 hours already, and it was about lunch time. They decided to eat lunch together, but Zoey was too lazy to go out. So, she suggested that maybe the boys could go out to buy lunch for them.

"Please, please, please, pretty please." Said Zoey to Harry and William.

"I don't mind cause I'm just following, Harry is the one that needs to drive." William replied.

"Please Harry, do it for Teresa and me. You are not so cold hearted to let us starve right? You see Teresa is so skinny and small because she is not eating enough, if you don't buy any food for her, she will get sick." said Zoey.

Harry was speechless at what she was saying and replied, "Haiz, I know, I know I will go buy lunch for you guys."

"Yeah, thanks Harry, you are the best."

"Will it be too troublesome? Don't listen to her, if you are too lazy to go out, I can go down and cook for you guys. It's not like my house doesn't have anything to eat." Teresa said as she hated troubling others.

"No worries, it will just take a while, you just need to wait for your food to arrive." Harry replied as he and William went out to buy lunch.

When the boys left, Zoey asked Teresa, "Teresa I have something to ask you... I'm just curious, don't scold me okay?"

"I won't scold you. What is it?"

"Do you like Harry?" Zoey asked.

"What? Why would you think that way?"

"Nothing much, it's just you seem very close to him and I can see that the way you treat him is kinda different from the way you normally treat other boys. So? Do you like him or not? Don't be shy, tell me hahahaha" Said Zoey.

"I don't know... Anyway, I don't care. Now, the main focus for me is our finals. I don't have time to think about anything else." Teresa answered.

"This is so 'Teresa' hahahaha. I kinda saw this answer coming." Zoey laughed as she continued, "Well, just promise me that you would tell me whether you like him or not once our finals are over."

"Why are you so interested in this topic? Is it that important?"

"Of course, it is my best friend's love story." Said Zoey in a teasing way.

"What love story? Are you crazy my friend? Did your hunger cause you to be crazy?"

"I'm not crazy. This is called caring, I'm caring for your future."

Bothof the girls continued their 'girl talk' until the boys came back with their lunch.

After lunch, they resumed with their study. Teresa was like their teacher as all of them were weak in their Maths and had difficulty in solving most of the questions. She taught them step by step in a slow pace to make sure they understood every single step that they needed to do in order to answer those questions. She did a great job in teaching because she was patient and she knew which method to use so that they can understand better.

"Okay guys, we are done." Said William in a satisfying tone.

"Thanks Teresa, you are my saviour." Said Zoey as she hugged Teresa again.

"Zoey, you really should stop crus.h.i.+ng her." Teased Zoey.

"I know you are just jealous because you can't hug Teresa like I do." Zoey replied as she teased him back.

"Stop it okay, you two are just like kids." Said Teresa as she was shaking her head, she then continued, "You are welcome, feel free to ask me anytime when you need help and don't just stop here, you guys need lots more of practice to get a hang in this."

"Noted, we will Teacher Teresa." Replied William.

It was already around 4.00pm in the evening, so all of them decided to go back. After seeing them off, Teresa went back to her room to rest, it was a tiring day for her. She fell asleep just a few minutes time after she laid down on her bed.
