Complex Romance 31 Graduation Trip

Two weeks of finals have already pa.s.sed. They were finally able to relax. Teresa and Jane were talking about where to go for their graduation trip. Just as they were discussing, Zoey joined their conversation too. At last, the three of them decided to go to an island for their trip, they did not want a big group, so Teresa suggested that maybe they should call another three boys to join them, because it would be safer if there are boys around. Jane and Zoey agreed to her suggestion, but they did not know which boy to ask.

Zoey was thinking and when her eyes were placed on Teresa, she thought of Harry. With this in thought she quickly said,

"Why don't we ask Harry?"

"Oh yes, that would be a perfect choice." Jane said in agreement.

"But why him?" Teresa asked, although she wanted to call him, she was shy.

"Don't ask me why, you guys are so close, even if you don't like him in a romantic way, at least he is one of your closest friends right? Isn't it a nice thing to go on a trip with friends you are close with?" Replied Zoey.

"I totally agree with Zoey. At least both me and Zoey know Harry too. So it would not be awkward to ask him to join."Jane said.

"Alright then, I will ask him to join..." Answered Teresa, as she continued, "WHat about the other two? Who else should we ask?"

"Why don't you ask Harry? It would be better for him to choose as he is the one that is going to stay with them." Replied Jane.

"Okay, I will discuss with him about this and inform you guys later." Said Teresa.

Teresa did not know how to ask Harry as she was afraid that it would be weird to straight away ask Harry about this. And each time when she thought of the question 'Do you like him?', she gets very embarra.s.sed. She started to know that she liked him, but she wasn't sure in what way because they were so close to each other. She didn't know whether she treated him as a brother or as a male friend. After pondering about it, she finally texted him asking him if he wants to join them on a trip to Eagle Island.

Within just 5 minutes, Harry accepted her invitation. Teresa was surprised because he just said yes and did not ask anything else.

"Aren't you going to ask anything like who are we going with?" Asked Teresa

"Oh, I didn't think about it, cause at least you are going so I won't be alone right?" He replied.

Teresa was speechless. Harry was actually trying to hint to her that all he cared about is her, he was sure that he had already fallen in love with Teresa, so he wanted to be closer with her. However, that dense girl didn't get the hint.

"So you are sure that you can come with us right? We have a small request, we don't know who else to invite, so can you give us some suggestions? We need two other boys, so it would be altogether three girls and three boys." Asked Teresa as she explained.

"Oh, okay leave that to me. I will ask them and get back to you. [okay emoji]"

"Okay, sure. Thanks Harry."

"No problem. You have been stressed out so much recently, we just finished our finals, so now you better go rest and relax."

"I will. Don't worry. [blink eye emoji]"

Teresa felt relieved that Harry did not reject her invitation. She was so happy that she immediately told Jane and Zoey about it. And the three of them started their girl talk again, as they were helping Teresa to find out whether she liked Harry as a brother or as a male friend.
