I landed firmly at the edge of a cliff and stared at the distant forest. Another sigh later, my knees weakened, and I fell on my b.u.t.t beneath a pine tree.

"Big brother…"

Xinran crouched down next to me and supported me. "Why on earth are you fighting alone in Final Duel Valley? Xinran was really worried about you, you know?"

I shot her a smile. "There are some things you don't understand, Xinran, but I must stay in Final Duel Valley if only for my pride as a Chinese player. I never want them to see me bending the knee and showing weakness…"

I put my arm across her smooth, delicate shoulders and shot her a bright smile. "I know. Don't worry! I can settle this myself!"

I mounted the Armored Ice Qilin Horse and rode straight into the canyon. It wasn't long before I spotted a dozen or so players searching for me some distance away. I immediately rushed them and used Burning Blade Slas.h.!.+

A pair of red whiskers floated above its savage-looking head, and it blinked a couple of times as if adjusting to its new form before rubbing its head affectionately against my shoulder.

Something that looked like a dead vine and an azure-colored magic lamp dancing above it rose from its back. Beneath the magic lamp was something that was shaped like a saddle. Just like any other mount, a player could sit on this saddle and still attack like normal. Tsk tsk, this Ancient Divine Dragon was truly something to behold!

I pressed down my excitement for a moment and inspected the Ancient Divine Dragon's stats quickly, and to say that I was stunned by what I saw would be a ma.s.sive understatement. I had no idea that my WEL champion reward was this OP—

I gulped loudly. These stats are a bit too OP, aren't they? Not only did it add 2000+ each to my Strength, Stamina and Agility, it even increased my Attack by 175%, Defense by 150%, and Magic Resist by 250%!
