"Purple Dragon Cavalry, go!"

Purple Marquis raised his weapon, and all the fighters climbed up their mounts in unison. Their mount was a war beast with an ugly head that resembled a dragon. I wasn't expecting Lin Yixin to use a mount like that to be her cavalry's standard mount.

The Fruit Knife G.o.ddess herself was still riding the low-rank Frostscythe Warhorse. Maybe the reason she didn't change it was because she liked its appearance too much.

"Open the gate, Little Cheat!" Lin Yixin called out to me from the ground.

I nodded and opened the gate as she requested, and the 10000 Purple Dragon Cavalrymen rode out at high speed!

"When did you guys make the Purple Dragon Cavalry, Qingqing?" I asked Clear Perfume who was shooting next to me, "Why haven't I seen it during the Nation War?"

Clear Perfume answered, "The Purple Dragon is a kind of earth dragon that we only really started to tame en ma.s.se during the two days after the Nation War ended. Purple Marquis and Zi Chuanyu barely slept a wink that whole time to complete the task. During the Nation War, we only had 2000 Purple Dragon Cavalrymen or so, so it wasn't really big enough to play a major role. Also, we lost them all while clas.h.i.+ng against the Bloodthirsty Beast Cavalry, which was why you didn't see them."

"It looks like a good mount…"

"Naturally!"

On the ground, the iron chains pulled the gate open, and countless Purple Dragon Cavalrymen rushed out to meet the enemy. Lin Yixin was at the forefront, activated the Great Earth Transformation and made herself look like a cyan lotus G.o.ddess. The moment she emerged, she immediately crashed Ice Flame Slash onto a group of enemies!

Boom!

The skill terrified the Hegemon Palace players, but that was just the beginning. Above her, a dark blue dragon swooped into the air, opened her mouth and burned a ton of enemies to death with her breath. Ice Dragon Kris was now Level 150, and it was incredibly huge. It might have looked like a big dog when it was curled up by Lin Yixin's side, but on the battlefield, it was the equivalent of a nuke. It ravaged the enemies with three successive AoE skills, and it was as deadly as my Phantom Wolf King!

Behind Lin Yixin, Purple Marquis, Zi Chuanyu and the rest of the Purple Dragon Cavalry cut down all the enemies in their path. There was no one in Hegemon Palace who could put up a fight, not even against the weakened Lin Yixin. It wasn't an unexpected sight, however. Lin Yixin had returned to Level 150 and over 80% of her original strength in just a week, and although her current equipment was nowhere near as strong as her old equipment, the downgrade was mitigated by the Devil Bell I gave her. The Cambrian-grade wristguards were literally peerless at the current stage of the game. In fact, her stats were on par with her old self already.

Moreover, despite promising me not to use G.o.d's Tear ever again, Lin Yixin was still a Divine General. Her command capacity was 4 times that of a normal player, and she still had Great Earth Transformation even if her Divine General Skill was unusable. She was the blade of the Purple Dragon Cavalry, and the likes of Hegemon Palace just didn't possess the strength to stop her.

The gang grew restless after they saw Snowy Cathaya heading out to have fun. Eyes Like Water smiled a little at Stranger of Three Lifetimes and asked, "Momo, can we…?"

The guild leader nodded. "Go!"

"Hehe! Be seeing you!"

Eyes Like Water was so excited that she jumped right down the wall and summoned her mount. After she rallied the cavalry of Blazing Hot Lips, she too went out of the gates and attacked the enemies.

This time, it was Li Chengfeng's turn to lose his patience. "I want to go too!"

I nodded and said, "No problem. I have an important mission for you!"

"Ooh, what mission?" Li Chengfeng's eyes burned with excitement. "Anything's better than f.u.c.king boring wall defense! There are contribution points to be earned!"

I smiled. "I want you to take 50k cavalry with you and exit the northern gate. Little Gui, High Fighting Spirits and me will be leading the Dragonlight Cavalry and 10k+ Cyan Tiger Cavalry and attack the enemy from the front. Li Chengfeng happily accepted his orders and went away to rally his men. I gave him control over all the cavalry from the main and subguilds except the Dragonlight Cavalry and Cyan Tiger Cavalry. Li Chengfeng was now one of the four Divine Generals of China, and his level was higher than both Lin Yixin and me. The dragon warrior was probably the only one who was fit to become the guardian of Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls until I returned to Level 160.

Wall defense was extremely boring, especially when your opponent was an alliance of second-rate guilds like Hegemon Palace, Mad Dragon and Flower Room. Mad Dragon and Flower Room were second-rate for sure, and Hegemon Palace, while technically one of the Top 10 guilds of China, was really weaker than even Wei-Jin North-South Dynasties and Hunting Moon Dynasty in terms of overall strength. The only reason Pillar of the Nation's joke of a guild got anywhere was due to a single man—Little Piglet!

Gui Guzi, Chaos Moon and High Fighting Spirits could barely restrain themselves at this point. They were all staring at me with hungry, bloodthirsty eyes and waiting for me to give the order.

This hot-headed bunch might just jump off the walls if I delayed any longer, so I said hurriedly, "Alright, it's time to head down the walls and rally the Dragonlight Cavalry and Cyan Tiger Cavalry!"

"h.e.l.l yeah!"

The gang practically ran down the walls after I gave them the permission. A while later, 2000-strong Dragonlight Cavalry and over 15000–strong Cyan Tiger Cavalry were gathered in place. Everyone here was a professional, so they knew to make their own parties. I was a Divine General, so I added 800 players to my own party. The rest formed parties with Royal Road, Knight G.o.d, Knight General, Plunder and so on as their stratagems. It wasn't long before the only thing left to do was to order the attack.

Now, we actually outnumbered our opponents a little, and we were way stronger than they were. It was time to let these bold fools taste the strength of our blades.

The heavy iron gate opened once more, and as I spurred my mount forward, I shouted, "Ancient Sword Elite Cavalry, kill!"

Horse hooves thundered against the ground, and the Dragonlight Cavalry's indigo armor gleamed with dark light as we rushed into the sunlight at high speed. While it was true that only a week had pa.s.sed by, and we hadn't returned to our pre–Nation War strength yet, we had caught up enough to no longer suffer from the level penalty, not to mention that there was absolutely nothing to be feared from a bunch of noobs.

"Kill!"

High Fighting Spirits shouted and charged straight at the enemies. Like a beast, he executed Xiezhi Howl and tore apart all the Steel Needle Porcupine Cavalrymen around him. After that, the Dragonlight Cavalry caught up to him and flattened the rest of the enemies like pancakes.

Bang bang bang!

The sky became alight with skills as we unleashed Purgatory of Ice and Magma, Burning Blade Slash, Rock Crush, Mountain Stagger Slash and so on at our enemies. The already powerful skills were boosted to ridiculous levels by our Famous General Skills.

Hegemon Palace's players were flabbergasted by our counterattack. Shangguan Wan'er was barking orders in a hurry, "What're you waiting for, Porcupine Riders? Stop them! Hold them back with s.h.i.+eld walls and Holy s.h.i.+elds! Archers and mages, give me some actual firepower and fire your Mountain Stagger Arrows and Galaxy Storms continuously, dammit! Don't give Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls a chance to breathe!"

The Porcupine Riders immediately obeyed their vice leader's command and used Holy s.h.i.+elds immediately.

Xu Yang, Gui Guzi and the others rushed them and battered their defense line repeatedly, but miraculously, Hegemon Palace's formation was picture perfect today. Their priests stood very close to their tanks, and they were locking their heals on their respective targets. There was barely any healing overflow at all. Somehow, they actually managed to stop the Dragonlight Cavalry's first charge. The biggest reason behind their success however, was because their levels were high. All mounted players had a ridiculous amount of HP at this level, and it took a tyrannical amount of attack power to one-shot them.

"f.u.c.k! I refuse to believe that the likes of you can stop me!" Chaos Moon swung her sword barbarically at a magic knight and hit him with Barrier Break and Triple Slash.

Squelch!

She succeeded, and the magic knight let out a bloodcurdling scream and died. However, another magic knight immediately stepped out from the back, took the empty spot his dead colleague had left behind and nullified all of Chaos Moon's efforts.

"OMG, this isn't working. Let's use AoE skills to break apart their formation instead!" He Yi suggested.

I stepped out from the back and said with a smile, "Allow me!"

I pointed my palm to the sky and launched five golden seals in a row. The next moment, they fell through the clouds and crashed on top of the enemy's s.h.i.+eld formation like a literal oracle from G.o.d. Ancient Seal was a Divine General Skill and not something a normal player could block, so a ton of Porcupine Riders were killed instantly. Combined with the Dragonlight Cavalry's a.s.sault, we instantly shattered their defense line and trampled over their core in unstoppable fas.h.i.+on!

"f.u.c.k, they just cannot be stopped…" Pillar of the Nation shook his head before calling out to his general, "Little Piglet, get there and stop them!"

Little Piglet complained, "f.u.c.k no, boss. If they can break through this many Porcupine Riders, they can break through me as well. Do you think that I'm the s.h.i.+eld of the Thunder G.o.d or something? I'm not that great…"

Our cavalry troops laughed at Little Piglet's apparent cowardice, but I knew better. Yes, Little Piglet had no intentions of committing suicide in a battle where he was clearly outmatched, but he also didn't want to be a part of a shameful battle like this, at least not seriously. Back in the War of Dawn City, this man had charged head first into Vienna's Sorrow and his twenty million army without any hesitation. Flawed he might be, the one thing he didn't lack was courage.

A losing army was like a landslide. Hegemon Palace was being routed in just the blink of an eye. That being said, this outcome wasn't surprising because they were facing 2000-strong Dragonlight Cavalry and 15000-strong Cyan Tiger Cavalry. And even if their formation was more impressive than we initially thought, they were still no match for my Ancient Seal!

Divine Generals were definitely a major factor to be considered in a war!
