He merely contacted his dad, asking him why there was a half-naked male spirit in the villa he was staying.
This surprised him, before thinking and realizing who it was.
"Er, son, you didn't eradicate him, right?" Majes asked, his face sweating at the possible repercussions.
"Huh? No. But I'm about to since it won't answer my questions."
"Eh? No, no! Let him go! That's your grand-uncle. He's your Grandfather's… brother. He died when an enemy destroyed his heart, and it was his lover of 60 years."
"Ah? Oh. Ok, fine. I saw him snooping around in the mirror, I thought it was something or someone spying on me. Ok, bye, dad! Take care."
Xander ended the call and looked at the spirit, who had heard the call. He had already visibly calmed down.
Xander immediately deactivated the s.p.a.ce lock in the area, allowing the spirit to appear in the material plane once again.
"Next time, don't snoop at me, grand-uncle."
"Y-you're Helsing's descendant?"
"You mean Grandpa Helsing? If so, yes. Please do not intrude on my reflection next time or anything of mine for that matter, thanks."
Xander responded succinctly, turning his body around and heading inside his bedroom. He then locked the s.p.a.ce in the room, to ensure nothing can get in or out.
Xander read a few more papers for the next 10 days in a time-accelerated field, before heading to sleep.
______________________
I saw the young child move slowly into his room, closing it gently. I had an urge to enter and look at him, but I was overwhelmed by a sense of danger. As a spirit, such premonitions are quite important.
I stopped myself and remembered the look the child had. It was just like his brother. Oh, brother, where are you now? I know you aren't dead, but no one seemed to know where you went or what happened to you.
I sighed visibly, before seeing the three figures by the living room.
"Hey kiddos," I said to them, a bit sad.
"Eh? Uncle Marvis? You were staying in the villa as well?" Bamon asked, surprised.
I nodded, before smiling wryly.
"It seems the kid you brought is quite a feisty one, hehe. He tried to purify me."
Bamon, Amon, and Gammon were surprised.
"Did you surprise him? He's usually gentle around us." Amon asked, confused.
I looked at him awkwardly, attempting to act like it wasn't my fault.
"Well, I was hiding in the mirror realm and I coincidentally saw him pa.s.s by, so I copied his image, hehe. Before I could even trick him though, he already released purifying energy, surrounding me and entering my body. It was very, very painful, yet relieving at the same time, like something bad was being removed from me," I responded nonchalantly like it was no biggie.
"Well, why didn't you escape? It would be easy for you to escape." Amon asked curiously. He knew his uncle's power before he died. Not only did he manage to survive, but he also managed to grow stronger even as a spirit.
"That's the weird thing; when he was using the energy to purify me, I felt an oppressive force coming from every direction, as if I was trapped, where I cannot even move a single inch from my place. I tried exploding, but I reformed in the mirror rather than the Life essence dimension. It was a weird, tiring experience." I said, sighing visibly to the trio.
I then said,
"He only stopped when he called his father. It was then confirmed by him that I wasn't a spy or anything, making him disperse whatever it was that was purifying me and the oppressive force."
Gammon responded, "That's his father, our cousin. Uncle Helsing managed to raise quite a genius."
"Moments like this make me wonder whether I should have pa.s.sed away already."
"Come on uncle, don't say that! Grand-uncle Veirhardt is actually collecting materials to rebuild your body. Just remember what made you stay in the first place. Once you finish that, you can do whatever you want!" Bamon said, trying to motivate him.
I smiled wryly. This was a problem spirits experience; extreme fluctuation of emotions. I shook my head, waving my hands as well.
"It's ok, it's just a momentary thought. I'll leave the villa for now. I can't reside here. For some reason, the house was rapidly modified, being coated and transformed into some sort of metal alloy. I couldn't even phase in any facilities inside the villa or outside of it. Can any of you open the gate heading outside the villa? Thanks."
The trio was surprised, as they never realized a thing had changed in the villa at all. Amon accompanied me to the gate, and I left the villa, then s.h.i.+fted into a different dimension to travel faster. He disappeared from sight.

Amon, Gammon, and Bamon were in the living room, discussing the situation.
After Marvis left, the trio tested the buildings, starting from the training facility. They cast their demiG.o.d-rank spells, yet they couldn't even make a dent in the floor or walls. There weren't even any violent vibrations that escaped.
The same situation was observed when they checked the gates, the walls, and even the floors of the villa. When they tried to dig through the wall, they only managed to get through the outer layer before they got stopped by something. Upon closer inspection, it was a silvery-green alloy.
With the situation, they can plan contingency plans just in case Xander is targeted, they can return to this villa and use it as a fort to immediately contact for reinforcements. They also reported the situation to Veirhardt, who just shook his head, as he had no answers for these.
The night pa.s.sed by easily, and Xander woke up with the bright sun twinkling in the sky. Xander took a bath and headed to the dining area to eat food. Weirdly, there was food prepared, surprising him. It was a traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, and bread, as well as mashed potatoes.
After eating, he headed to Camasutra University, where he would meet the professor and deliver the ores. Amon drove the 4 of them to the campus, and upon reaching the campus, Xander scanned his watch, giving him access to the campus.
After contacting the professor, Xander waited in one of the benches near the campus entrance. After a few minutes, he could see a man in his 40s, with a full-on beard, running towards his location. He waved, indicating to the professor it was him.
Professor Lindhart reached him in less than a minute, and both shook each other's hands.
"Mr. Cloverfield, nice to meet you in person."
"Likewise. Let's get down to business."
"Sure. Do you have the ores?"
"Yep, I already placed it in an anonymous account in an item depository called Bags in Us, and once I confirm the payment of SCP, I can give you the account number and the three-layered pa.s.scode." Xander then showed several photographs of the items, placed neatly inside a storage facility.
Upon seeing the ores, and discovering no digital alteration had occurred in the image, Lindhart was convinced. After all, the ident.i.ty of Xander Cloverfield at Grand Hyatt University is one of his main guarantees that the deal would be successful.
"Alright, I'll begin the transfer." Lindhart immediately initiated the transfer of SCPs to Xander's account, which was successfully transferred after 5 seconds, with Xander receiving a notification of the transfer success. He double-checked his balance and saw that it was really transferred, causing him to nod; he then spoke up,
"Alright, here is the name of the anonymous account: AS34-12RV-7849-55GX-2103-001Z. The pa.s.scode is 'The wind blows, but nothing follows.' Please avoid typing it down in your communicator or recording it, it can cause data corruption."
Xander stood from his bench, politely saying,
"It has been a pleasure to work with you. See you if there's a next time." Xander waved his hands, moving towards the campus entrance, where Amon was waiting. The other two were nearby Xander, ready to act if something had happened.
It was just Sat.u.r.day, so he decided to go explore more of the city after returning to the villa. He changed his clothes before heading out. Since the city was near the beach, he decided to head to the beach and see the ocean.
After 10 minutes of walking, he finally reached the beach and felt his decision was wrong. There were too many kids at the beach right now, and the stalls and beach restaurants in the vicinity were packed with families and kids, as well as teens and young adults.
However, he didn't falter and felt that everything can still be great. He stood in line for the ice cream stall, patiently waiting for 20 minutes until it was his turn already.
"What flavor will it be, kid?" the man in his 20s asked me kindly, his eyes filled with soft gentleness.
"Um, mister, do you have cookies and cream? I like that flavor very, very much!" Xander asked, his voice becoming childlike, losing the demeanor of a leader but rather sounded like a toddler. Anyone who heard his voice could feel their hearts softening for him, as well as feel kind of happy.
Of course, it was the Emotion element that was oozing out from Xander's voice and actions.
"Call me Brother Han. I do have that flavor, little boy, how many scoops do you want?" Han asked kindly at Xander, who furrowed his eyebrows, with his look feeling like he was conflicted.
"Hmm, I want 3 big, big scoops! Just 3! My mom said I shouldn't eat too many sweets or else I'll become very big." Xander said, his voice sounded like a child acting serious, causing giggles to erupt from the young female adults in the line and even from the mothers nearby.
"Alrighty, 3 scoops of cookies and cream, coming right up!" Han said, and he then went in the gigantic-a.s.s freezer, stopping at the vat that said, "Cu0026C" and began to scoop ice cream from inside the vat into the large cone.
After a few seconds of waiting, Han left the freezer and handed Xander his ice cream, and Xander immediately grabbed it, then began to lick it once, and his face scrunched up, but his mouth was smiling and his eyes were closed, experiencing the blissful taste.
Xander then opened his eyes, then said to Han,
"Big brother Han, how much is the ice cream?"
"For you, just 5 Nemais!" Han smiled gently, his smile creasing his cheeks. Xander nodded and placed his watch on the scanner. It was connected to his bank account which was an international bank, thus the conversion of his money was easy and value difference wasn't that high.
The payment succeeded and Xander thanked Han before he began walking around the beach. After 10 minutes, the ice cream he was eating was fully devoured, and the only reason it took that long was that Xander was chilling the area around the ice cream so he can savor the flavor.
He noticed that the beach was quite long, probably 2-3 kilometers in length, and the sandy part was around 100-200 meters away from the roads.
As Xander was wadding in the sea, he heard something amiss from the depths.
"… begin the operation, ensure the target is on the beachside!"
He didn't know who it was, but he felt the waters were receding, creating more land area for people to walk. However, the more experienced people, such as the lifeguards stationed, noticed this and sounded an alarm: It was a tsunami alarm. Everyone is to evacuate the area and head to the road.
Xander was curious, so he didn't really move from his current location, but he did make himself invisible to the human eye. He wanted to see how the people of Nema would react to such a calamity. The moment the alert was released, everyone began to move in an orderly manner. As most of them were Elite and Master magicians, they were quite calm to the situation and were focused on calming the children who were surprised and confused. They guided them to the multiple entrances to the beach, which exited directly on the side of the road.
There were gliding magicians that came from the city area, and from the fluctuations that they were giving out, they were legendary magicians who came into the beach's vicinity, a total of 9 magicians, moving into equidistant locations to one another, covering the whole stretch of the beach.
Xander scanned the database of Fargrow and realized this was one of the specialized squads for water-based disasters. It seems they cover not only the beach, but also the ports, and the other parts of the city exposed to the seaside, and vulnerable to tsunamis.
I wonder what they'll do if they realize that it's man-made. How will they solve the problem, I wonder, Xander thought silently.
After a minute, the water continued to recede, and there were only 10% left of the beach population a few minutes ago.
After another minute, everyone was evacuated, and the magic and elemental energy were rapidly condensing in the area of the legendary magicians, preparing their spells. Xander was curious, whether they had an external magic supply since each of them basically cast a magic array on their own.
When the tsunami appeared, Xander could hear one of the magicians mention, "This…this is not a natural tsunami! There's presence of unknown magic energy," his voice trembling, obviously shocked.
This was because the tsunami was quite large, around 300 meters in height. At the same time, it was producing a strong, unknown magic energy signature.
The size of the tsunami already indicates this was at the level of a Mythic magician. If a group of Mythic magicians had prepared the spell and continued to control it, their squad would not be enough. They needed someone at the DemiG.o.d cla.s.s.
Xander, seeing the size, was not scared, but rather surprised to see such a tsunami that big. It was nearing the size of a megatsunami, so how did this group of mythic casters even manage to do this?
He didn't plan to disrupt the situation, but then he heard one of the magicians present quietly mumble,
"Such a grand spectacle to catch someone, sheesh."
At this, Xander's eyes glowered; in his mind, he connected the dots surrounding the situation. It seems this was orchestrated by the government. He did hear yesterday that they were planning something, but willing to bet the life of its citizens? That's quite heartless, especially if something were to happen.
Xander decided to raise the stakes higher. He immediately grabbed the control of the spell, before further reinforcing the spell, making it reach 800 meters in height, causing real surprise in the eyes of the magicians present. One of them, most likely the leader of the group, discreetly contacted the magicians in charge of the spell, but they themselves were freaking out since they lost control of the spell, the power it contained was battering their magic barriers.
They only managed to send a few words before being destroyed by the ravaging water elements: "…lost control… unknown person…"
At this, they decided to call their superiors, to request for help. The tsunami was around 15 kilometers wide, covering the entire coast. It was 1 kilometer away, but it was that big and visible that caused panic to rise amongst the people, especially those houses and establishments near the seaside. The governor's office was becoming swamped with calls, and even the Nema government was caught off-guard by the situation. They had to send 3 demiG.o.ds to neutralize the situation.
However, all they can do was to delay its movement, but they could counter it. They attempted to steal control of the spell, but they failed; they also tried to disturb the elemental flow of particles and energy, but it also failed. All they could do was stop it for a while until the spell either runs out of power or is canceled by the caster.
Xander, who was controlling it, on the other hand, was actually already in one of the restaurants in the far end of the city, reading the menu to decide what to eat. He called for a waiter and began placing his order, and while waiting, he messaged Amon, Gammon, and Bamon that he was just eating at a restaurant in the city, giving them his location.
After a minute, the three appeared at the entrance of the restaurant, with puzzled looks in their faces. Xander waved at them, signaling them to come inside.
Amon, Bamon entered, with Gammon staying outside to guard him. Both looked at Xander questioningly, but Xander acted like he didn't notice their looks. It was Amon that broke the weird silence with his question,
"How did you get here from the beach?"
"Beach? I was never on the beach in the first place." Xander said, snickering at them. Looking at their confused faces, he explained,
"That was an illusioned clone, basically an elemental clone, but it carries a small copy of my life essence doll, allowing it to emulate my life signature and lets me hear information from faraway places, hehe." Xander giggled, acting like he was just playing a prank. Amon and Bamon looked at one another and sighed. This was the first time they heard or encountered such a spell, so they weren't sure if Xander was lying to them or not.
Xander, seeing their looks, rolled his eyes, saying,
"This isn't a spell, but rather a biconscious control, plus something special I added, hehe. I've been playing around with this since I was like 5 so that I can leave the house, hehe. Oops, don't tell dad!" Xander then said, actually acting fearful as he 'spilled' his secret to them.
Bamon smirked, before saying,
"But we can't lie to your dad. We'll have to tell him what you did, oh well."
"But…" Xander trailed, quite 'lost' and unsure what to do.
At this point, Amon stepped in, acting as the good cop.
"How about this, Xander. I won't tell your parents about you sneaking out, but for the remainder of the trip, don't try to sneakily go to places, ok? We just want to make sure you are protected."
Xander paused, c.o.c.ked his head to the side for a bit, thinking, before he nodded in agreement. He then raised his pinky to the two of them, looking serious.
"Pinky swear?"
The other two, unaware of what Xander had planned, connected their pinkies as well to his, both of them saying,
"Pinky swear."
At that moment, Xander's eyes changed color, momentarily shocking the duo, before they heard the words that came from his mouth, as if only audible to the two of them.
"As it has been decreed, it shall be done. The truth shall be hidden, or let their selves be gone. It is witnessed by the light, it will be done by the dark." Every single word reverberated in their heads, causing them to hold their heads in pain.
However, this only lasted for 2 seconds, before everything returned to normal like nothing ever happened in the first place. The two looked at Xander confusingly, but with a hint of fear in their eyes. Xander, however, 'acted' confused and puzzled as well, like he wasn't sure why they were staring at him like that.
"Seniors? What is the matter?"
"N-no, nothing. Nothing at all. Bamon will stay here with you while I go support Gammon in guarding the perimeter, ok?" Amon said, his voice shaky and a stuttering a bit. He stood up, glanced at Bamon, giving him a look, before leaving to join Gammon.
Bamon was scared to be left with this weird nephew of theirs but had no other choice. For the next few minutes, there was an awkward silence between the two. It was Xander who broke the silence by saying briefly,
"They're approaching soon to the restaurant. I hope the food gets served before they do," Xander muttered to himself, causing Bamon who was listening to be confused.
When their food arrived, Xander stopped reading from his tablet and began to chow down on the food. He ordered both seafood and some fried chicken, as well as paella and mashed potatoes.
Just as he finished eating the seafood and was about to begin eating the chicken, the people inside the restaurant heard shouts coming from the outside. Before they could even look, the restaurant doors burst open, and a squad of soldier magicians entered the restaurant, clearing the way for their sergeant to come in.
