Next day Ronnie got ready for his audition. Charlie sent a makeup artist to John's mansion, who helped John to change his look. He wanted to present in the first audition of his son. But, he did not want Ronnie's performance to be affected by his real ident.i.ty, so he ordered Charlie to prepare everything so that n.o.body could identify him. Charlie arranged everything as per his order.

"Wow!Dad!You are looking cool. n.o.body would identify you."Ronnie said with a smile. He was very happy as both John and Zinu were accompanying him to the audition.

They reached near Charlie, who was waiting for them.

" Boss, here is the car."Charlie opened the door of the car for them. Both Zinu and Ronnie was surprised to see his car. It was like a taxi from outside, but actually a luxurious car from inside. Charlie had modified the car as per John's requirements. John wanted to spend some quality time with his family but he did not want to attract others attention by using his luxurious cars. So, he decided to modify the car to a taxi. Now he could go anywhere with his family in the taxi.

"Boss, can we go now?" Charlie asked. He started the engine as John nodded.

"Dad! I like this car." Ronnie said excitedly. He never thought inside of a taxi could be so luxurious.

John smiled at him.

"We will use this car whenever we go somewhere together. Ok?"

"Yes, dad. It will be fun." Ronnie replied excitedly.

Zinu smiled at happy father-son duet. They both are attaching more and more to each other.

They reached the audition hall within a half-hour. The guards were all simply dressed as an audience, as they could not follow John as a bodyguard. Charlie waited for them in the car.

John stood in a queue for registration of Ronnie's name. Charlie wanted to do all these stuff himself beforehand, but John denied. He wanted to do these things himself. He wanted to know how a father does everything for his son. He already lost his son's precious five years. But now he hoped to make up for the lost time.

Zinu and Ronnie were waiting for John in the waiting area. When it was almost two hours Zinu went to see John. Her heart clenched to see John was still waiting for his turn soaked in sweat. She already offered John thrice to sit with Ronnie in her place. But he was determined to do this himself. She knew John never been in a situation like this. He never had to queue in his life. It was a very hard time for him. John smiled at her and told her to return to her place. Zinu nodded and left. After twenty minutes John joined them with a name tag for the audition. Ronnie's number was one hundred two. So they had to wait for a long time.

They waited for almost three hours for Ronnie's turn. John felt that Ronnie is losing his spirit, as he was too tired.

So he asked Ronnie, Will you like to visit a video game parlour after the audition?"

Ronnie got excited about hearing his father. He had always been wanted to visit a video game parlour.

"Yes, dad. I would like to."

"Then sing well in the Audition. We will visit it after your audition."

"Ok," Ronnie replied happily.

After ten minutes a lady announced, "Partic.i.p.ants number one hundred and two. Please come to the stage."

Ronnie got up and went to the stage. John and Zinu took their seat as the audience.

Ronnie wished the judges and start singing very confidently. It was a beautiful song. Everyone surprised to hear his voice. His high range of melodious voice was like magic. This magic seemed spellbound everyone present there. His voice soothed their heart and soul. They felt like the voice transferred melody from their ears to heart! It was a delightful sound for their ears. They wanted to hear this voice forever.

When Ronnie finished his song, John could not control himself. He ran towards the green room where Ronnie just returned. Zinu too followed him. He picked up his son and kissed him.

"I am proud of you my son. You sang so nicely."John said with teary eyes.

" Ronnie!Well done my child."Zinu kissed his cheeks and said.

"Thank you, mom and dad."

Ronnie was very happy to get so many praises. The judges told him to wait ten minutes for the result.

After ten minutes the judges called Ronnie again along with his parents.

"Ronnie Smith! Congratulations!! You have been selected as a kid singer in our movie 'Ash'.Welcome to the team 'Ash'.We will send you a contract. Please read it carefully, and sign it.Mr. and Mrs Smith, your son is so talented. We are happy to get him as our singer."

Ronnie started jumping in excitement. John and Zinu thanked the judges and left happily.
