"…" Peach's mother looked helplessly at her daughter. Sigh… They are both children. Why are they so different? Occasionally, when they had nothing on, Peach would help her mother to wrap dumplings, but the dumplings would always look rather ugly. Chenchen had never even wrapped a single dumpling before but the moment he attempted it, he was able to wrap a perfect dumpling.

On second thoughts, Peach was only six years old, two years younger than Chenchen, it was good enough that she was able to wrap dumplings albeit crooked ones. Thinking of it this way, Peach's mother felt more relieved.

With Shen Mochen's help, the dumplings were wrapped exceptionally quickly. In a short period of time, the bamboo tray was already full of dumplings.

Satisfied, Peach's mother went to cook the dumplings, leaving Peach and Shen Mochen alone in the room, staring at each other .

"Umm… Husband, are you still angry?" Peach examined Shen Mochen carefully and pondered over her options for a long time, before deciding to break the silence.

"Humph." Shen Mochen glanced at her before picking his book up off of the table. He then continued reading seriously from where he had left off.

Her attempt to pacify him had failed once again.

Frustrated, she scratched her head. Peach hopped off from the chair and went into the kitchen to help her mother.

After dinner, Peach's mother bathed both children. She then laid another quilt on Peach's bed, and urged both of them to go to bed quickly.

"Kids, you should sleep early and get up early!" Peach's mother stood at the door of Peach's room with her hands on her hips, educating them seriously. After which, she headed back to her room to watch her television programme.

Peach and Shen Mochen sat on the bed with their individual quilts, facing each other.

Shen Mochen had a habit of reading before going to bed, so he turned on the bedside lamp and leaned against the bed head to read his book.

On the other hand, Peach snuggled under the covers, and gazed at Shen Mochen's side profile. Under the reflection of the bedside lamp, she could see that his eyelashes were long and curly. At that moment, his eyelashes were drooping down, casting shadows under his eyes. His nose was very straight and his lips were pursed tightly whilst reading. As Peach looked at him, she dozed off without realising.

Shen Mochen's eyes finally s.h.i.+fted from his book to Peach's sleeping face.

Nestled in a warm quilt, Peach's fair face was slightly flushed. Her large doe eyes were shut tight, and her distinct eyelashes trembled gently in her sleep. Her ruby-lipped mouth was slightly opened, making her look adorable. Breathing through her tiny nose, her breaths were long and even.

"So stupid!" Shen Mochen murmured softly at Peach who was asleep, his delicate eyebrows were deeply furrowed. Thinking about it, he reached out to pinch Peach's smooth, soft, round cheeks. When he stretched her cheeks hard, her mouth formed a straight line.

The corner of Shen Mochen's lips turned up in satisfaction. He then turned off the bedside lamp, and slept with his back to Peach.

As he dozed off, Shen Mochen suddenly felt something burrowing into his quilt. Shen Mochen turned over, and was immediately hugged by Peach. A pair of little legs began wrapping around him.

Again.

Shen Mochen rolled his eyes helplessly, as Peach was clinging onto him. Using both his hands and feet, he forcefully peeled Peach off of himself.

"Waaa!" Unsurprisingly, Peach's loud cries rang out, piercing through the silence of the night.
