Dream, Where True Love Lies 3 Dream 2: Mortals

"Ugh, now I can feel it, at first I thought he had compa.s.sion but nah, I really don't like this guy, he is easily agitated, but what can I do right? I don't have a choice so I'll just bear with him" she cerebrated, and then she replied to him defending herself. "Hey you're being too much, I'm trying my best to convince you but it's not working at all. Besides you accused me for something like one of your enemies but I'm not. I'm really not, believe me." She firmly insisted as her eyes bring out a strong sense of truthfulness.

"Oh yeah, *smirks* then let me check, stand still" He said.

As Fai stood still, he handed his right hand out and he directed it to Fai. Bright lights and warm gentle wind came out.

Fai looked unto his eyes. But while she was looking, his eyes are slowly changing its colors. "His eyes....From a Madeira citrine like color of his eyes, it's turning into something like a crystal blue color. It now looks like a dragon's eye." She wondered while being astonished.

Eventually, she found herself surrounded by those beautiful lights coming out from his hands. She was stunned and continued staring without blinking while she wondered, "What is he doing?Is this some kind of magic?"

While he's doing it, he paused and had his eyes wide open. In his thoughts, "Is this real?" After a few seconds, he put down his hand and his eyes turned back to normal. He then stated, "Ok, now I clarified. You're Innocent".

"Of course, I'm innocent." She proudly said while put her arms on her waist.

"But wait, what did you just do a while ago? Are you some kind of a magician?" she asked.

"That is not important, what's important now is that, how did a mortal like you, able to come here in Celestial Realm which is the world of immortals?" He asked.

"What are you talking about? Celestial Realm? Immortals? W-wait, hold on. Are YOU *points at him* an Immortal? Is this place called Celestial Realm?" She asked with doubt accompanied with excitement.

The guys sighed, "You know what, you make me sigh so much. So just answer me, no more this and thats, how did you come here?"

Placing her hand on the chin, she recalls about what happened. Then she answered, "Well, maybe when I opened my eyes…at that time I was surrounded by neon lights and found myself falling towards the ground and then booomm!!! Now I'm here."

"Is that it?" Unconvinced, he asked.

"Yup, that's all I can remember."

"Ok then, I'll take you with me only because I need to report this to the King and also because you're the one who made me got delayed to the fact that I'm going to be late for my destination. I'm gonna make you my reason."

"The King!? A King? I'm gonna meet a king, Yippee! (It's a good choice I that I came along...) *mischievous laugh*

...Ah, can I ask you something first" she hesitantly said.

"No time for that, I'm on a hurry can't you see, you're making me waste my precious time. Just ask what you want to ask later. Let's just go. Do you know how to ride a horse?"

She scratches her head and shyly, she nodded. "Well, I might not look like this but I can."

"If that's the case then…"

He suddenly grabbed her waist and puts her at the back of the horse.

"Hold tight!"

"Yah!Hah!"He shouted, and then the horse runs as fast as it can.

On the palace... (Dragon Clan)

A baby is crying---"Uwahhh!!!Uwahhh!!!"

"Congratulations your highness, it's a healthy prince! The palace doctor said while he hands the baby to the king.

"Yes, indeed he is. He is very handsome too, he takes after me" The king concurred as he touch his son's nose.

"He is our second son my king, and our youngest among them three, so let us celebrate his birth tomorrow as we welcome him in this Kingdom, also, invite again all the royalties in Celestial Realm including the Tiger Clan. Even the people in our clan shall celebrate with us" The queen suggested.

"We're doing it tomorrow? Ok then, let's do that my queen." He gently kissed her forehead.

The king then returned to the court and made an announcement.

"CONVEY MY ROYAL DECREE! We will be having a celebration tomorrow and I want to invite all the Royalties in the whole Celestial Realm! The people of this Kingdom shall attend too!"

"Yes, your majesty!" the palace officer responded as he follows and conveyed the decree.

Meanwhile the two has arrived at the front gate. (They are at the Dragon Clans Place)

As they were pa.s.sing by at the clan's grounds, Fai sees the concrete houses with dragon statue in it. Every house has at least one dragon statue in a certain part of their house, like doors, windows, rooftops or gates. The place is so lively with many kids running around, vendors on the side and busy people doing their own businesses. She was so astounded and engrossed by the sight. Busy sightseeing, she did not notice that the guy was calling out to her.

"---ey! Hey! Did you hear me?"

She snaps back and responded, "O-oh yes? What's the matter?"

"I asked if your feet are alright. I mean, you ran after me a while ago without a shoes on. Does it hurt? I just noticed that it has some scratches." He shyly said while sc.r.a.ping his neck.

"Nah, it's nothing. It's just some scratch, it'll heal in no time." She ascertained.

"Fine, but when we arrive, tend your wounds on the place." He a.s.serted.

"Ok!"

After pa.s.sing a few streets, they finally arrive at the center palace…

The guy opened the door with antic.i.p.ation, "IS MY BROTHER ALREADY OUT? AM I LATE?" The guy who was with Fai asked with excitement as he anxiously breathes.

Fai is amaze with where they are, first, the elegant looking dragon statue placed in front of the palace, now the number of many soldiers and maidservants, and the huge palace that has precious stones. She cannot get her sight out from the greatness of the place "Whoa is this where he said he was heading? It's like a palace or something. It really looks like one or is it? It's so ma.s.sive!" Then she suddenly realized something as if something came back to her…

The workers of the palace saw the guy and they greeted him with a bow while he was pa.s.sing by them.

…"Wait! Wait! Wait! He said he's going to meet the king right!? (*holding her head as she's confuse*) So, so he really is a high ranking person!? And I just spoke casually to him and---"

Suddenly she heard a baby cry, "Uwahhhh! Uwahhh!!

("oh, a baby is crying") it caught her attention.

The guy heard the cry and got excited right away while runs towards the sound. Through his eyes, the feeling of him being affectionate was evident. Fai saw it and followed him. He then approaches the newborn baby and went near him.

"Oh son, you're back." The queen smiled at him while she holds the baby.

"Yes mom, I'm back. Can I carry Him?" He replied as happiness was painted all over his face.

The Queen gently handed the baby to him. And as he carries his brother he said, "Hey bud, it's your big bro. Sorry I came late. But anyways, I want to welcome you to the immortal world. The Celestial Realm."

He sincerely smiled and gently caress the baby, "Look, can you see? This is our clan, you're one of us, the Dragons. See, you have a mark there buddy, on your right chest, It's glowing." He said as he points on the baby's chest. "A dragon symbol. A mark which symbolizes, that you are a part of the Royal Family. I will tell you more about it when you grow up OK."

Fai keeps wondering while her head keeps looking around.

The guy finally gave his brother back to his mom and said, "I'll just leave my gift to him in his designated room mom."

The queen nodded then said "Alright. Anyway, Genrou my son, why did you come late? I thought you will be arriving on time of your brother's birth, what happened?" His mother asked with worriedness.

"Before that mom, can you tell these people here to go out for a second because I want to talk to you about something."(He's talking about the maids and physicians)

"Oh OK," she said and looks at them while she called someone to come over to her to get the baby. She then hand over the baby to head chambermaid for her to take care of. Eventually, she later dismissed them.

Fai follows them but Genrou stopped her, "No, you stay here, Genrou said"

"Oh" Fai responded.

After they are gone, the queen asked, "Now what are you going to tell me, to the fact that you made those people leave? Is it something important?"

"Well, you see mom, I b.u.mp into some rebellious guys and I had a small fight with them. After that, while I was on my way here, I met this strange girl along the way" He said as he held Fai's hand and pulls her beside him.

"She? why did you brought a girl home Genrou? If the Phoenix clan finds out,it'd be troublesome" His mother reminded.

"Nah, that's not going to happen mom, besides I do not like this person at all. I just brought her here because she's the one who made me tardy. She had so many questions and she's so nosy. Mom I tell you, this girl is crazy." He said with a convincing look in his eyes as he raises his eyebrows.

"Hey what are you talking about!? You're the crazy one, why did you have to put it that way huh!? Just get to the point will you!" Fai muttered while glaring at him.

"Ok, just get to the point Genrou, what exactly are you up to? why is a shoeless girl *looks at Fai up and down* here in the royal palace?" the queen queried.

"Mom, I'll tell you now but after this you'll make sure that you'll inform father about this.'Cause it's too tiring for me to explain many things. Deal?" he implied.

"Ok, what is it. What's so important?"

"Mom, this girl beside me is an interesting one."

"Oh? How interesting is she? Tell me." the queen asked.

"She is a M O R T A L"

"A MORTAL!? have you checked? Are you sure?" She can't believe what she just heard. She really can't.

"Yeah, and it's true, I did not just brought a crazy shoeless girl here mom but I also brought a mortal, Isn't it amazing?" He proudly said while shrugging his shoulder.

"Ho-how come a mortal able to come here and stand breathing the same air as we immortals do?" The queen asked Fai.

"Immortals? You really are immortals!?" Fai also let out a question.

Genrou pokes her head and said,"Hey watch your att.i.tude! You're talking with the QUEEN of the Dragon Clan you know."

"Queen!? Oh no! What to do? What if they kill me for disrespecting the queen?" She contemplated in panic while she lowered her head and bit her nail thumb.

She later apologized and bowed. "Ma'am--ah y-you're highness I should say. Sorry for being disrespectful."
