Three Months Later. Wednesday, 19th of August 2020. 1645 Hours. School's Library.

"Lynx. Could you go to the usual parking garage?"

It was the message from Clara. It was sent to her just shortly after Lizeth finished cleaning the library. 'Why does Clara need me? It's highly unusual,' Lizeth put her phone into her pocket.

She continued cleaning the dirty books on the library with a vacuum cleaner since the amount of dust gathered on the old books that weren't read was ma.s.sive.

Lizeth had been working with Clara for three months since she returned the nuke to Russian's hand. Lynn hadn't healed up completely from the accident where she lost her arm, her leg, and her eye. The situation in that country had gone from bad to worst. The military had a PR disaster since the slaughter of a young girl by the BMP.

It was the girl that Lizeth cuffed since she was a threat to her safety back when she was operating. As a result, protests and riots were everywhere. It was a disaster. The country suffered from a ma.s.sive crisis because of the sudden increase in violence that scared investors away.

It only needed a little bit of spark and the bomb would explode. It was only a matter of times before a ma.s.sive blown out civil war happen. Whatever Amar planned, he might be happy that he made a civil war. Still, the civil war hadn't blown up yet and Lizeth had more than enough power to protect herself.

Lizeth sat down near the window as she saw that people were protesting outside of the school complex. They were upset about the continuous military lockdown on **** city and the killing of Sarah Tristy by the military. Lizeth didn't feel guilty, Sarah's sacrifice actually prevented the third world war. These people were better off not knowing those facts.

Bella came to the library as Lizeth finished packing her bag. She brought the camera as usual, "Library closed Bella."

"Sorry, I happen to stumble upon this picture. Do you have any idea where is this?" Bella showed her a picture of a girl being tied to a chair without any clothes.

After further investigation, the body or the corpse was Iris's. 'How did Bella got this picture?' Lizeth put away that picture and she packed her bag.

"Iris is dead?"

"No. Her father didn't pay the ransom money."

"So... Was she executed?"

"I have no idea."

"So... She is dead?" Lizeth carried her bag and walked away from the library since what Bella would say won't make a difference.

She sold Cocaine. Of course, the cartel would eventually "take care of" her. They lost profit thanks to her action. Bella said that the cocaine was from the police warehouse for confiscated goods. Basically, she sold pure profit from that business.

The cartel that the contractors fought was the Ambrosia cartel that was working with IS. They supported terrorism in southern America for their own profits. Still, after that last a.s.sault, the cartel was left to pieces since they were slaughtered by the contractors.

She entered her car and drove outside of that school complex. She immediately changed into a combat gear. She drove to the parking garage. She went to the top floor of the parking garage as usual since Clara asked her to be there.

She drove up the ramp of that parking garage, 'There's an unusual amount of cars here. It's unusual for the parking garage to be this full,' Lizeth drove her car to the top floor. The top floor was filled with more cars than the three floors beneath her.

She looked around the parking garage. Clara wasn't there. She might be hasn't arrived at the parking garage due to circ.u.mstances. Well, who knows? Lizeth looked at the building surrounding the parking garage.

"Hi Tim, want to go to the coffee shop near here?" It was a couple beneath that parking garage. They were sitting on a bench while holding each other's shoulders.

She really hoped that she and Lynn could be like that soon. It would be nice if they could go dating like a normal person. The date that she and Lynn had been through was more like a military operation rather than a proper date.

She only wishes to go dating at a coffee shop where she was usually working during that period of laying down. She worked there after school and served coffee to the customers.

'Where is she?' Lizeth leaned down on the railings on that car park. She looked at the buildings around her. There wasn't any sign of her either.

Suddenly, she had a phone call from someone she knew. It was a phone call from Clara, not Serval. It was Clara using her contact number. Well, it was unusual for her since Clara usually contacted her from the usual number for any matter that was related to a contract.

Lizeth picked up her phone. The phone was connected to her walkie talkie and to her tactical headset. She could answer the call without putting the phone near her ears.

"Hi, Clara. How's your day?" Lizeth looked around for her presence.

"Good. Actually, it will be better."

"Nice. What's happening? Is there anything you want to tell me in particular or is there anything you want to give to me?" Lizeth teased her.

"Not your business to be honest. Do you really want to know?" Clara sighed.

"Sure. Why not? We're friends aren't we?"

"You know everything that I told you?"

"Yeah. Is there any problem with that?"

"Yes. I lied."

"What do you mean by I lied? Is there any problem? Please tell me," Lizeth felt anxious once she heard that. There was something wrong with that statement and Lizeth could feel that.

"I'm not what you think."

"Huh? What is wrong with you? Is there something wrong? Please tell me, Clara. There's something odd on your tone. Is there something I can help?"

Clara cried in the background. Lizeth couldn't decide on the reason why she would cry. That sob wasn't a sad sob at all, it sounded more like someone that had a revelation on something or someone who had reached her own objective.

"Clara?"

"I'm not what you think."

"Clara, are you ok?"

"My father isn't a businessman. My father is a traitor. He's a traitor," that cry was replaced with a laugh.

"Clara? Are you high?"

"No, my mind is clear now. Yeah, my mind has never been this clear before. My parents were killed by an FSB agent. That person ma.s.sacred my whole family including the maids and my driver," Clara said.

"So... What does this suppose to do with me?" Lizeth was confused with that sudden statement.

"No. As I said, it doesn't have anything to do with you. It's only my personal vendetta," A sound of something being loaded at something could be heard at the background of that phonecall.

"What do you mean Clara?" Lizeth asked her.

"I know how to do it, Lizeth. I know, but I doubt that I can do it. Even other contractors don't encourage me to do it," Clara said.

"What are you talking about? What's a contractor? Do what?" Lizeth looked around at her surrounding. She tried finding Clara that was hiding between the buildings. She didn't have any visuals, but she was sure that Clara was hiding somewhere near her.

"I'm a cold-blooded killer Lizeth. I am not that good person that you know. I'm no longer that goody two shoes. I'm just a killer that is looking for money," Clara rambled.

"Wow. Wow. Wow. Slow down, take it easy. Look, you're still my friend whatever happens to you. Killer? What do you mean?" Lizeth took cover behind one of the concrete covers on that parking garage roof. She was sure that something would happen, but the question was how.

"Clara is my fake name, my name is Anastasia. I wasn't born here, I was born in Russia. My father is a spy and I'm following his footsteps as a contractor," Clara told Lizeth everything. It was all of the secrets that she shouldn't tell. There must be something that pushes her to do that.

"Contractor? What's that?" Lizeth asked.

"Doesn't matter now. It's not going to be bothering you. I'm not what you think. I'm a contractor, my alias is Serval. That's all I can tell to you. I trust you."

"Why are you suddenly telling me all of this? What are you going to do Clara? Please tell me," Lizeth asked her. She still searched for Clara around the surrounding building, but she still couldn't find her.

"I'm going to take my vendetta. I believe that I won't survive this. Lizeth, this is my last word. Please tell Lynn if I'm not coming back," Clara closed her phone call.

Lizeth had already known that Clara was going to kill her, but she did not know how she would do that since she wasn't a sniper. She was a new contractor and she knew that Bullets were ineffective at Lizeth. So... How would she do that.

A large explosion appeared beside her. 'Holy s.h.i.+t, is that an RPG?' Lizeth ran away from that parking garage rooftop.
