Me and the spirit stared at each other with our weapons at hand right before we were about to engage in a fight, Ariel called out to me

"John! Duck!" Shouted Ariel

The instant i heard those words i ducked down and a second later, A wind spear travelled slightly above me towards the h.e.l.l spirit.

Instead of dodging, the spirit simply, Cut the wind spear by thrusting his. The three of us were surprised at what just happened and that performance that he just performed made me feel slightly nervous.

"Velox!"

I propelled myself straight at it at point blank. It thrust it's spear at me but didn't hit. I cast furtim midair and he lost sight of me, As i managed to get behind him i propelled myself once more in an attempt to pierce his back and freeze him like i did to do the horse

But before i could, he did a full 360 turn and swung his spear with a momentum. I barely managed to dodge it by propelling myself downwards the instant i saw him going for that.

Now that i was only a few steps away from him. Without turning back, I lept at him as I stretched out my dagger in the form of a thrust

Right before it pierced him, he turned his body causing my dagger to go right past him. Midair, While I was still being carried by the momentum he turned his body to where I was at and thrust downwards

Despite being so close to death, i didn't give up. I cast velox and propelled myself to the side. It was a battle to see who was faster.

If my velox was slower i would get pierced right then and there. If my velox was faster then i'd live.

I barely escaped. I ended up with a small cut wound on the side of my stomach, it also felt as if it got burnt at the same time.

I took a leap away from it and it thrust it's spear as i did. luckily it only grazed my chest.

As i thought of such things, the h.e.l.l spirit changed its target from me the two girls who had attacked it earlier on as it couldn't see me.

It rushed at Serena and Ariel and Serena propelled the 5 arrows at it while Ariel propelled ventuses hidden right behind them.

the ball was very big. If serena and Ariel hadn't brought me time by attacking it and if it hadn't changed it's aggro on to them. I wouldn't have been able to do this.

It tried moving away from the attack but couldn't. It didn't have as much strength as the spider queen so it wasn't able to move properly in 20x gravity so it ended up getting hit head-on by the water.

The instant the water hit it, lots of steam filled the room as it's bodies fire continued to evaporate the water.

A wave was created by some of the water that hadn't evaporated and hit both Ariel and Serena who were within the radius.

I flew over to them and dried them as we waited for the steam to disperse. As it slowly dispersed, we started could see a silhouette of his figure. It was still standing

"Don't tell me he survived that too..." I muttered

Ariel and Serena who heard that made nervous expressions as they continued to stare at the silhouette

If it had survived that, then we were all in deep trouble. I had used up all the remaining magic in my stones. They were out of charge for the day.

Once the steam dispersed we could clearly see the h.e.l.l spirit.

"It still wants to fight?" Asked Serena as she tightly gripped her staff

"No, it's already dead." I replied

It's flames which were dim a second ago, had extinguished, at the same time white cracks appeared on it's skin like the Nightmare horse and it turned to ash.

"It went out like a true warrior..." I muttered

"Maybe h.e.l.l spirits are warriors who died in battle and came back from h.e.l.l" Said Ariel

We both looked at Ariel with surprised expressions

"Eh- Ah- N-Nevermind..." Said Ariel

"No, that actually makes sense. Whatever it was, i hope it found peace..." Said Serena

"Yeah, me too..." Said Ariel

After it turned to ash, the nightmare horse who hadn't turned into a magic core yet also turned into ash. Shortly after a single magic core was formed in the middle of the room and the door to the next room opened.
