Love Lists To The Universe 19 Chapter 19 : The Last Times

I saw myself in a place where my young colleagues who support too my charity where doing their best for running program for today.

Our Charity was now helding a program. Many people where here. Including Louie and other top actors. I think most of the people are those who lost their houses. We will give them foods and money support. For the poor family, we are supporting education of their children.

I saw Louie giving speech at the stage that makes me smile for seeing him again. This time he was as old as I am. He was now 46 years old but still looking handsome.

After the program, Louie b.u.mps me and formally speaks to me.

"Avita, can I talk to you? "He said to me.

I nodded that makes him happy.

"It was then my final day in our charity program. I was happy to be part of your team. I'll be continuing helping people and will run my own charity program at Cebu."He silently said to me.

"You might no longer see me here but I was very happy to meet you and be your father's friend. I enjoyed the times when we were young adult." He even added with a sad tone of voice.

"Louie...I am sad to hear that."I said.

"I was still inlove to you even the day that I stayed in your father's house for a long time . But don't worry.I was not going to ruin your family. I want your life to be wonderful and peaceful. I just want you to know this till I go."

"I will find myself, will stay from my province and in my house at Cebu. I had a dream before that we two can have a life together and live in my newly built house but I guess it was only a dream." He added.

"Thank you Louie. For everything and for being always with me in times of sadness and happiness. "I sadly said to him.

He nodded then starts to go away.

I felt sad upon knowing that Louie in this time is in despair in love but I love Red. Louie is my dream man but Red is the man I love. Those things were different.

I looked into the sky and saw a cloud that formed like a tree that reminds me of the red tree in my father's house.

In this time, my dream to help people came true. I run my own charity program as President and one of my partners were known people in the society including Louie.

... but now Louie decides to leave my team and makes his own charity program.

I went home and starts finding Red inside the house. I was now eager to go forward of time to end everything. I was ready to say the word I Love You once more.

I saw him at the stockroom.

He was checking our old photo alb.u.ms.

"Looked. I saw our wedding photos. "He called me.

He sits on the chair then requested me to sir on his lap. He then embraces my back while holding the photo alb.u.m in between.

He kisses my neck then starts to open the alb.u.m. We checked all the pictures and when he turns the last page, I saw the date May 29 that makes me remember that it was the date wherein Red died in my time. My tears fall into the alb.u.m. Red notices it. So he rolled me in a position where he can see my face.

"What's wrong? "He asked.

I hold his right hand at the same time I was going to say I Love You.

"Red, I sincerely love you. "I said as I rapidly been transfered to different time.

I was now sitting in the racking chair. I saw sunset. It feels like I am so tired and weak.

I saw an old man on my side. He was sleeping soundly.

"I was now an old woman. "I said as I saw my wrinkled hand.

After a few seconds, a woman came with a teenage girl.

"Oh, she's awake. "The teenage girl said as she saw me.

"Who are you? "I asked.

The teenage girl was shocked to hear my question. So she called her mother.

"Mother, grandmother forgot me. She doesn't know who am I?! "She loudly said.

"Oh, it's fine baby. It's normal because she is too old. "The woman said.

I closed my eyes as I realized that the teenage girl is our granddaughter and the woman might be Lyrids, my daughter.

I looked into the sleeping old man and starts to figure out who he is.

"He is my Red. "I said silently.

"Mother, are you fine? Do your still remember me? "She asked me.

"Yes, you are my daughter. "I said happily that makes her smile.

"I am happy to know that. I hope that father's memory is as sharp as yours. You are the only person that he remembers. "Lyrids explained.

I tried to stand but it seems like walking is too hard.

"Grandmother, i will help you. Where are you going? "My granddaughter said as she moves towards me and holds my shoulder to support my body.

"Oh, my granddaughter. You look like a female version of Red when we are on teenage days. "I said to her.

"Thanks grandmother. "She replied.

I went into the dining table then saw a piece of paper. I opened it and saw a love lists being written probably by my teenage granddaughter.

"So is this yours? "I asked her.

"Yes, my mother said that you taught her about this. I had written all of the characteristics of the my dream guy and hoping that it will work for me."She said.

"Hmmm... Don't rely on that. G.o.d doesn't want you to control your own life."I said to her.

"... but Grandmother, you told mother before that it works. "She insisted to me.

"Yes, it works... "

"It will surely work... "

"... the reason why you are now my granddaughter because it works. I created another love lists to the universe and replaced new one that 100% describes your grandfather. "I honestly told her.

"Did you regret it? "She asked me.

I stopped and thinked deeply but suddenly I fell asleep. I was blocked out during that time then woke up seeing the old Red touching my head while I was on his lap.

I can also feel wind touching on my body.

I was surprised that we are now in my house and at the side of the red tree..

"Red. What happened? "I asked him while trying to sit.

"Oh, my love, don't force your body to get up. You can still sleep. "He said to me.

Red is too old.He no longer smells like a cool breeze of summer. He smells like an old book being kept in the bookshelf for a long time.

"Red, I have to confess something to you. "I said as I am ready to tell him everything.

"What it is? "He asked.

Red just listened to me that makes my heart in pain.I started crying that makes him alarm.

"Oh, stop it. You might increase your blood pressure and get heart attack."He said as he hugs me.

"I believe you now." He said that stopped me from crying.

"My love, it doesn't matter afterall. The important thing is now.Soon one of us will die but the love that we share remained in this time. Even if it turns out to be a dream. Am I right?"He explained to me in a soft voice.

I nodded as a sign of agreeing.

I was then very happy because Red's love for me is everlasting. Even if I am now an ugly old woman, he still loves me.

We went inside the house then there Red gets something inside the room.

He handed me his diary that makes me shocked.

"It was your diary. The one I had thrown in the sea during my real time. "I said.

I touches it while he was still holding it.Then suddenly my surroundings flashes. It changed into a place that is purely white. The old Red returns to a 26 -year-old Red and I also returned back to my real me.

"Avita, finally. It's done."He said to me.

"What do you mean Red? "I asked.

"I won't no longer appear in your life. I was happy for having those chances to be with you as we get old. "He said to me.

"Does it mean? Does it mean... Everything was really an illusion? All were not true? "I asked.

"No. Those were true. But only true in my created world.In this world where you make changes. "He responded.

"I was then worrying that you can't go on without me. My spirit also can't move on without you making realize that I already ended. That i won't be longer in your life. So I brought you back to me and to the time that there is infinite possibilities. "He explained.

I cried as I heard him.

"What will happen now? You will leave me? You know I love you. I am sorry for not truly having the chance to say it in real life. "I said to him.

"It's okay Avita. You have already proved how much i am so precious to you. I was overwhelmed by your love that I also don't want to give you back in your time....But I am sorry. "He said to me.

"...G.o.d and Universe is now calling me to enter the gate. They said that you already have the strenght to continue in real life. "He even added.

"I can't Red. Let me also join you."I said to him while crying.

He hugged me tightly while I was crying on his chest.

"No, you can't. Somebody and many people is waiting for you in your world."

A bright circling light appeared and angels came for Red.

I was now on my real world and in the real time. I am also alive and not drowned from the deep sea.

I stand up and saw Red's wet and unreadable pages of his diary. I picked it up. I changed clothes then returned back to my house.

There I saw the 26 years old real Louie which is waiting for me.

"Are you alright? "He asked me.

I smiled to him as a sign also that I am willing to move on.

Red is the one I really love before but I know greater things will soon come into mylife. I will soon help people by building my own charity program and be the best version of myself.

Louie smiled back and gave me a white roses that makes me feel relax.

"I waited for you. I hope that things will be fine soon for you. I will always be on your side. "He sweetly said.

Many months pa.s.sed by, Louei became a top actor. He then confessed his love for me. I accepted it and we became a couple.

Louie'a house was already done at Cebu. So we decided to visit it.

It was a mansion type with a big pool at the back and wide garden.

"Your so rich. "I said to him while looking on it

"No, it was only the fruit of my hardwork. " He said as he hugs me from my back.

"This will be our future house. "He said.

"Right there... I will plant a red tree..."I said to Louie while pointing on the garden.

"What type of red tree? "He asked while smelling me from my back.

"Any kind."I responded.

After 2 years.I get married to Louie and we moved to his house at Cebu.

My planted Red Tree grown tall and beautiful.

Alone in the house, I went towards the red tree and touches it a little.

"Red, thank you for giving me a chance to love you."I silently said as I remember him and as my sign of willingness to move on in life.
