At the Outpost realm of Amnor, the Exotic World bridge phenomenon hums with continuous surging of energy at interval of seconds. The bridge is a translucent waterfall like wall, pulsing with energy that sparkles and crackles with various colors of light.

Around the World Bridge is a broken off road that leads directly into the bridge called the Bridge Road which gave users of the bridge access.

The World bridge of Amnor is dubbed an Exotic World Bridge because it not only connected three heavens together but went in double lane traffic, up and down. The Worldbridge of Amnor also connects the First Heaven, Orun Apaadi below with the Middling World of Merchandise, hence the major reason it was dubbed Exotic because of a commuter could either decide to descend into the resource rich but risky First Heaven or ascend up to the World of Merchandise, making it a choice land for several Spirit beings.

However, while being a choice land ma.s.s, it also had high danger security as the World Bridges served as hotspot for Demon Waves as the bridges were the only way of transportation between worlds. And in the case of the Exotic World Bridge of Amnor, being a connecting bridge between First Heaven, Second Heaven and Third Heaven, it was a nightmare come real.

Thankfully, Lord Meados had signed a treaty with the world's above and below, thus and by, stamping out potential insecurities that might arise from The Exotic World Bridge of Amnor. And without fear or favour, I dare say, Lord Meados has remained and will remain an icon, a ruler we can all look to.

Perhaps, he himself, might be the new light that we seek.

The Waterfall like Exotic World Bridge of Amnor stood huge and vast, a connecting the sky and earth in a never ending surge of spatial energy. Around the world bridge, spatial storms raged about, high in the air, a result of the escaped spatial energy from the bridge, creating rifts and tear in s.p.a.ce all about.

The air seemed still and stale as the ravaged the skies in a 100meters wide area about the bridge while scanty buildings congregated together all about, looming high over the almost empty plains of Amnor.

Before the buildings and hurrying people in deserted roads and streets, just outside the Spatial rift range was a seemingly large group of people wearing grim faces as they stared into s.p.a.ce, forming a sort of wall around the bridge.

Mixed among the drakons, dressed in black leather armor that glittered and creaked as they stood tense and grim was the Giant, Gbemiga. Beside him in a semi-circle were three Irunmoles, two male and one female, wearing white shoulder and joints padded armor with inscriptions in black on the wrists and waist.

Arike, the female Irunmole with with short black hair out in a bun shape, frowned, biting her lower lip.

However this did not go unnoticed as Gbemiga turned to stare at her.

"What bothers you?" He asked but got no response as Arike turned away after eyeing him head to toe "Patience, it would turn up. if not, that means the Vanguards would have dealt with it already." He added, nervously, as he kicked his lips.

He was a ladies man, and he was well aware of it. Before his deployment to Drakon-Irunmole High Commission, he had served in his homelands, the Giant Foundation, in battling their forever opponents, the t.i.tans.

The Giants were mix breeds between Irunmoles and Humans on Earth, a standpoint between the spiritual and physical. But they had come over time, to ascenders back into the heavens, eking a living in the third heaven as did their rivals, the t.i.tans, who were mix breeds of demons and humans.

Both sides had insane physical strength and could do more thanks to the Giant innate ability of Expand, an ability that allowed them grow bigger for greater damage while the t.i.tans learnt the ability Condense, a reversal of the Giant Expand ability. Being pract.i.tioners of the laws of light and in hatred against the demon offsprings, the t.i.tans, the Irunmole Society had dealt graciously with them, diplomatically, giving aid and support occasionally in request for Giant warriors.

Gbemiga had being drafted, and sent to Drago. On his arrival, he had, because of his muscled form and war knowledge and affinity, he had won over the ladies at the Commission.

All of them, except Laurena who seemed hard to get. To finally have her, he had had to cut off his affection to other females which however, did not end up well with him, Arike being a major example.

"Laurena is dead." Arike spoke with a sullen look on her face.

"What? You're joking. I know you don't like her but please let's focus..."

"No, I'm serious. She's dead, for real. T-that... that thing killed her." Arike flared up, pounding a fist into Gbemiga's abdomen.

Seeing this, the Giant blinked, startled. "No, no, no, that's not true. The Vanguards would have dealt with..."

"No, Gee, the Vanguards did nothing. She's dead. Laurena is dead." Arike began sobbing into the lower side of his chest.

"Who's Laurena?" An air Drakon asked, his leather armor had more padding than the rest with a dragon head gauntlet on his left arm.

"Head guard of the High Commis..."

"Oh," The Drakon oohed, looking left and right towards the plains. "What killed her? It has to be the Ascender." He said, before shooting his gauntlet arm into the air in a fist. "Eyes Sharp, Target is approaching. You know the drills. Don't hold Back."

"AHOY!" The guards chanted in response, drawing out swords, Spears and various weapons from their sheaths and spatial storages.

"Wait..." Arike said, calling after the long, white haired Drakon with black boxlike beards. "We are not sure. Its a Fire breathing Salamander. What we expect is either a dog or a wooo..."

SHNNK.!!

The unsheathing of Gbemiga's large sword that was hung across his back, brought all eyes on him. He lifted his feet, heavily as he walked some distance from the contingent, stabbing the sword into earth after some steps.

Looking up, he roared, a Bellow of winds bursting into the atmosphere. "By the Life Essence of my beloved that you spilled, vile beast, I swear, I will rip life out of you."

His body flickered as after images of his large palms clicked and snapped as the air became teeth chattering cold.

"Law of Storm: Empryean hailstorm." He chanted as a little snowflake appeared in the hollow of his left palm.

"Everywhere your feet touches, my eyes will be on you, to destroy you." He roared, throwing the snowflake into the air as the clouds churned and darkened in response and the air thickened with static energy.

'No. It's not my fault. She forced me. I tried to run away but she chased me.' Bayo whimpered as he took a guilt trip.

'I killed her. I killed her. I am a murderer. No.' He shuddered, cringing internally with disgust at himself.

'What have I done?' He asked no one, scampering on, towards the gigantic waterfall some meters ahead.

Behind him, were some guards, the ones he had seen at the makes.h.i.+ft, running towards the site of the battle.

The place he had murdered, his first kill.

What was happening?

He only wanted to live a normal life, not as a fall back plan for Trixius.

But yet, here he was, on his first kill.

Trixius had said that no matter what he did, he would still end up following the path he had had designed for him, the path of Ascension.

'I just want to live normally. I didn't ask for all of this. ' He sobbed internally.

If he had only come this far and he had killed already, then what was in store when he left.

'No, I have to go back. I can't bear it if I kill more people because I just want to get to Magmor. No, no, no.'

Behind him, shouts and orders rang out as the guards shuffled about, searching for what would be him. Nodding, from under the wooden crate, just before an empty caravan, he steeled his mind.

He had killed, so what? He was forced , wasn't he?

Going back, no, going back was no option.

Not when the guards were searching nook and cranny for him.

On, that was the only way to go, On.

Bayo flickered his forked tongue as he darted, taking cover from caravan to squeezing between sacks to jumping through windows when the atmosphere darkened as the sky rumbled and clouds churned.

'What happening Yasmin?' Bayo asked as he kept on, rus.h.i.+ng forward.

Immediately, his eyes bulged with panic, as they met with the intense static airs. His skin shuddered, occasionally spasming as he skittered to a halt, exposed on the plains as an Ominous feeling of death tingling all over him.

As if that was not enough, in front of him, some meters away, stood a contingent of warriors and a giant, staying in a wall sort of .

He had to get away, from here as fast as possible.

'There appears to be a sort of siege at the World Bridge. To go forward with be suicidal unless your unique soul might have a way of bypa.s.sing the defences of...'

'Wait... You said Unique Soul. Thats it. My soul is unique enough. I know, I'll pa.s.s through.' He said, steeling his tiny frame once more as he surged forward with new energy.

One thing was sure, there was no back wards as the guards were on the watch for him

But forward, the warriors didn't know what form to expect him. He had deduced that from the inaction of the warriors at the makes.h.i.+ft gate.

Andwas a plus to his account.

'For Jaspar.!' He started, his feet clawing furiously into the dust laden plains, ignoring the itching sensation in the air as he charged, straight into danger.
