The world was dark and lifting her finger was a struggle. She had been diving in and out consciousness for hours or what felt like years.

The numb pain was unmistaken and reaching out to her. She could feel the consciousness flooding around her like clouds with no strength to take a hold of it.

The numbing dulled and waves after waves agony swam in her body. She groaned and hissed and tore her eyes open.

The dull ceiling was the first thing she saw. She tilted her head to look at her surrounding but instantly regretted, the pain shot up her body jolting her body back.

She frowned at the unfamiliar surrounding before her situation dawned upon on her. She was finally running for free heaven when some f*cker thought was good timing to vent his vendetta.

The pain in her body told her she was lucky that she was in one piece but she still needed to inspect the damage. She craned her neck, a plaster in her left leg, f*cking fantastic! Her whole body ached making her register the damage and of course her head that was probably split in half under the bandages.

Her hostages wanted her alive, If they wanted her dead, she would be in Nethers now and if they wanted to torture her, she wouldn't be given this royal treatment of bandages and a bed.

It was some familiar f*cker!

Her aching were dulling now with time.

Lei Xinyi sat up with all the energy left in her body and took the water on the nightstand by shaky hands. She gulped down the water, wetting her parched throat then threw the gla.s.s on the front wall.

It was her way of notifying she was awake.

There was a commotion outside and loud rus.h.i.+ng footstep before the door was opened with a loud 'THUD'. 

There stood the man with half his b.u.t.ton broken revealing his muscular chest, with red lipstick smudged on his mouth, like he was eating lipstick or rather eating a woman who was wearing it.

Behind him stood meekly a s.e.xy tall Blonde woman with s.h.i.+rt half ripped and her lipstick in the worst condition than his. Someone was about to get lucky...

Lei Xinyi a.s.sessed her kidnappers with wide eyes. Did this circus-couple kidnap her?

Getting over there momentary shock they entered the room. The woman who looked like a h.o.r.n.y vampire right now tried to clean her mouth with the back of her sleeve, which made her look like she was right out a horror movie. Only Dracula could get a hard-on for her!

And Ladies and Gentlemen, this is why you should never wear laud lipsticks when getting-laid is on the horizon!

Getting back to the present Lei Xinyi glared daggers at the familiar men who happens to be her distant cousin.

"What the f*ck, Yi Yang?!" Lei Xinyi shouted in disbelief.

The chill-giving woman came close to Lei Xinyi to check up on her but Lei Xinyi was still glaring at Yi Yang. If it wasn't for her having a liking to deranged stray dogs, this son of a b*tch would have been long dead!

Yi Yang cold expression was still in place but you can't blame Lei Xinyi for not taking him seriously in this 'condition', "Calm down, Lei Xinyi!"

He was once her brother but that ended the day he sold her out to the Yu's and now she wouldn't hold back. 

The animosity in Lei Xinyi eyes didn't lessen by even a fraction, "Why? Did the Lei Dog put you on my hunt?"

Yi Yang who was wiping his mouth with a tissue handed to him by his wh*re, looked at her in mock, "You chose this. You know the rules." He scowled, "You tried to escape. You have no one but yourself to blame."

Yeah, the rules! Did this little bast*rd know that according to the rules, I am supposed to hand each of the heirs' including his to their dear patriarch? Moron!

"Who was it?" Lei Xinyi asked with her tone calm and low and eyes blazed. she was desperate to know who tattled her this time.

A taunting smirk rose on Yi Yang's face, "n.o.body. The bar where He Jin was getting drunk was bugged."

Lei Xinyi gritted her teeth. So they knew it all along, and were playing cat and mouse with her!

F*cking He Jin! She was going to kill him!

Lei Xintyi surveyed her surrounding with her eyes, the place was well secured: camera, snippers and trackers! No wonder Yi Yang was flattering his feathers too much...

Although she was crippled, she's no way harmless. They should be scared of their welfare.

Yi Yang threw a switched-on phone on the bed beside her, "The Patriarch wants to have a word with you."

Lei Xinyi narrowed her eyes at him, "I don't want to."

Yi Yang gave her a frustrated glance and rolled his eyes, "Lei Xinyi, I don't have time for your arguments, If you want a bargain, talk or throw it out of the window and rot here."

The phone ringed then by an untraceable number. Giving out a huff she picked the call. She didn't say a word but her features visibly darkened.

"Lei Xinyi." A taunting voice resonated on the other side followed by a mocking laugh, "Grandpa missed you."

Lei Xinyi gritted her teeth as her blood boiled hearing the voice of the man who made her a monster to replace him, "What the f*ck is your problem?"

A punch landed on Lei Xinyi right jaw, on pure reflex Lei Xinyi picked the tray, to throw at the attacker, that was on the nightstand where once a gla.s.s was but halted.

About twenty or so snippers were pointed at her. They were on autopilot, in the ceiling, some were even coming from out of the window.

The woman who was checking her B.P. minutes ago and had punched her, was s.h.i.+vering at the killing intent in Lei Xinyi's feature. Yi Yang was tense and his features were on full focus.
