Yu w.a.n.g took out his gun from his belt and got off the heavy bike, he took each step on the dried fallen leaves with precaution.

The wind was whispering him warning bells in his ear. The surrounding was flat filled with creepy silence. It was past afternoon and the sun was about to set, giving the sky a blus.h.i.+ng hue.

His eyes were frantically taking everything in, his tense stance was ready for an attack. He knew this place, the person must be very keen and persistent to be able to reach here.

There was no vehicle in sight but the door was deliberately left open which meant the intruder wanted to taunt him with his lack of vigilance in hiding his tracks.

Yu w.a.n.g gritted his teeth at the new knife hanging on his head. Someone knew of his hideout!

It was an heir. A soon to be a corpse heir!

He took measured step keeping his eyes trained on even the slightest of movement. He was attentive to any sound that could guide him to his soon-to-be victim.

He went inside through the backdoor and saw all the doors were still locked. The kitchen, lounge and porch all were clear with no sign of life. He was about to go inspect the woods when he halted.

He astonis.h.i.+ng eyed the black high heels that were sitting on the first stair. He looked up and saw a charcoal black long coat on the stairs and a red velvet dress pooled some steps ahead.

He precautionary walked the stairs to his room and turned the k.n.o.b. There in his room, on his bed, was an epitome sculpture of potency, pleasure and desire.

"What are you doing here, b.i.t.c.h?" There was nothing but hostility in his eyes for the enthralling beauty in nothing but lacy red lingerie and a loose robe that was sliding down her one shoulder.

The Underworld Swan was sitting on his bed with only one unnecessary commodity that was her mask that was covering the half of her face.

Su Qianwei looked him up and down as if a.s.sessing him, lingering on his loins longer than necessary and smiled at him seductively. She gracefully unfolded her long toned legs and pushed away from the bed.

She walked like a temptress as smoothly and neatly as a cat, and her undid flimsy robe was on her one shoulder caressing the floor as she swept the floor.

She neared him, just a breath away and smiled with promised deceit in her eyes, she brought her hand with red painted nails on his chest but he caught her hand in a tight grip before it could land.

"Why are you here?" Yu w.a.n.g seethed with hardened eyes.

Su Qianwei seductive smirk didn't falter, "I hear you Yu's are a pain in the a.s.s...when in the a.s.s." She whispered seductively and licked her luscious lips, "But rumours are rumours, I wanted to know the real deal."

Su Qainwei then at one took his lips and moved her lips skillfully against the stunned-stiff Yu w.a.n.g. She slid her hand out of his grasp and brought it on his neck, pulling his head down to deepen the kiss by pus.h.i.+ng her tongue in his mouth.

After the momentary disbelief and astonishment, he recovered fast and took control of the kiss. Su Qianwei heard the sound of the pistol hitting the ground and smirked.

It was easy! Now, she only had to think of hiding the body...

He pushed her against the diagonal wall when they pushed for a breather, Yu w.a.n.g trailed his mouth on her jaw to give her open-mouthed kisses there that trailed down.

Su Qainwei slid her right hand from his shoulder to his abdomen till her loose robe sleeve slid back on her wrist, in one swift moment she took out an index-finger-long needle.

She smirked like a cunning fox and stood on her tiptoes, held her hand on his neck and nibbled his earlobe before lowly moaning, "Sorry."

"No, Babes. I am sorry." 

Before Su Qianwwei could comprehend what that meant, she felt a pinch in her neck. She didn't even have enough time to raise the thick needle to Yu w.a.n.g's neck when her head felt light and her world at once went dark.

The next her eyes opened, she felt her head was nailed in multiple places but it hardly took a second before her head cleared by the thumping of awareness.

She felt the tightened restrained-ropes on her body and felt her heart sunk. She was bind on a chair in an empty room with only one other chair. There was no window, just one door but she was too far away from it. Movement was far fetched, it was hard to breathe through the tight binds.

She was aware of the lack of Mask on her face which meant Yu w.a.n.g had seen her already and of course recognised too.

She came to kill Yu w.a.n.g because he was on her tail for almost half a month now and wouldn't leave her alone.

She was almost successful when that b.a.s.t.a.r.d stabbed her with something in her neck! She jerked her body in anger in a futile effort to free herself.

The door opened at that moment, Yu w.a.n.g smirked mockingly at her which Su Qainwei returned with a contemptuous glare.

He was now wearing only a sweatpant low on his V-line. His hairs were combed backwards but Su Qianwei didn't notice any of that, the only thing that held her gaze was the pistol in his left hand.

She looked at him sceptically then at the pistol, "What the f*ck do you want?" 

Yu w.a.n.g chuckled and shook his head as if what she said was a sick joke, "Now, Su Qianwei darling, your main concern is if you want your head to roll before or after spending a night in my sheets. After all, you offered your body to me and I don't refuse such bestowals."

Su Qianwei stared in his dead eyes and firmly asked the one question that had been consuming her like a plague, "Why?"

Why had he been chasing her? Why was he trying to kill her? Viper's death had nothing to do with it. He was just one unimportant p.a.w.n and could always be replaced better by a knight instead.

There was something else...

Yu w.a.n.g smiled coldly with lifeless eyes, it sent a chill down her spine, He shook his head in amus.e.m.e.nt, "You don't get it still. Do you?"

Su Qianwei looked at him with an expressionless face, her strong facade was breaking. Whatever he was going to say, it was safe to a.s.sume, wasn't going to be her salvation or a sigh of relief.

Yu w.a.n.g sat on the chair in front of her and looked at her with cryptic empty eyes as a psychopath looked at his potential victim. His smile was one of pity. Mock pity.

He kept his gun on his right thigh and he brought his hand to his eyes. With one finger he took out a contact lens from his right eyes.

What Su Qianwei saw had her eyes widening and her heart dropped to her stomach. She thrashed like a fish taken out of the water while embracing death did.

The familiar grey eyes with golden specks that resembled the one she admired in the mirror every day before hiding them behind contacts stared back at her.

"Ho...How?" Su Qianwei looked at him in fear and astonishment.

Yu w.a.n.g calmly commented, "My mother."

Su Qianwei eyes widened further that they could almost fall out of their sockets.

Didn't that mean Li Qiang...

Looking at her going in heart arrest, knowing well where her thoughts were wandering, Yu w.a.n.g decided to entertain her one last time, "My mother and Li Qiang mothers were half-sisters, my grandmother who was a Lei hooked up with my Maternal Grandfather. My mom's mother was a Lei thus I have Lei blood in my veins."

Su Qianwei broke out into cold sweat and started frantically squirming to set herself free. It was like he was announcing he was the wolf in the woods.

Yu w.a.n.g ignored her hysteric state and kept admiring his pistol and spoke with apprehension, "It was unnerving, waiting and looking, with no clue." He took out the magazine and inserted three bullets in it then he slammed it back inside.

He caressed the metallic muzzle deep in thought, "Heirs sure are good with hide and seek. I would have never thought Li Yuan's b*tch was one." 

He snorted in mock, looking at her pretty alluring face that shouldn't even be of this world, "Such a beautiful face wasted on a b*tch." 

He tsked, stood and walked some steps back and forth, "I must say you gave a good chase. I would have never found you if it was not for Li Qiang finding your tracks. I then only needed some close-ups to see your eyes." 

He stopped his pacing in front of her and put the gun off safety, he caressed her side of the face softy, "Be grateful I will make it quick. Yu Youhan would have wanted to torture you to ogle secrets of the Lei Family which you don't know sh*t about and Li Yuan would have kept you in his prison and left you there to die for betraying him."

Su Qainwei pleaded with her eyes moistening to fuel her ache, She whispered her last shred of hope against her demise, "Please..."

Yu w.a.n.g hand froze and his finger on the trigger loosened. The determination in his eyes faltered before hardening again.

"Forgive me, I can't help it." His whispered peeled off the last of life left in her. 

Yu w.a.n.g stared into her broken soul through her eyes. If he wasn't going to kill her now, she would come for his head later. She knew his ident.i.ty now.

His faltering eyes delivered his message and after brief silence between them, Su Qianwei nodded in understanding before a sob wrecked her sailing soul. 

"I will make it painless." He promised with nothing but the truth that laced his every syllable. He then steadied his stance and held the gun on her temples.
