Siola browses through the menu of her inventory and found several items have been inserted inside, she then went up and open the patch note and mumbled, "Mrrmmph, free stuff is nice, but… I wish they could change or rework the Necromancer cla.s.s, but instead… they NERF IT!"
"N.E.R.F IT as if the cla.s.s was too op or something!"
Screaming as she holds her head, rolling around the bed, "Ngrr... Why, Aris, why. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!?"
*Pomf*
Sighing, 'Aris, she's the main head developer of the game. Can't believe they nerf the cla.s.s that I'm using, but why… why dammit. There is n.o.body. Absolutely n.o.body play this cla.s.s. So, please… f.u.c.king buff it already, man.'
She even teared up a littlebecause of this.
Once more, she brings up her status screen.

~~~~~
Magic Arrow: Summon spectral arrows that dealt damage according to the user's Intelligence and Faith attributes. Cost: 13 Health
Siola's Note: Dealt 10 Damage at base. Each Intelligence and Faith scaling added 5 Damage per 10 stats points. Currently, with 100 and 100, it will deal 110 Damage per arrow shot. Now that I got 2.75 potency, the damage will be upgraded by 175% because having a potency at 1 means 100% and it dealt default damage. That means, now I have 303 Damage per arrow shot.
Clairvoyance: Reveal the current user's will and desire. Cost: 63 Health
Siola's Note: It has a hidden scaling with Faith. With each 20 Faith, the range and effectiveness of the spell will be increased.
Create Entry-tier Undead: Reform the soul and body of the deceased into an undead that will follow the user's every command until the true death comes to light. Cost: 100 Health
Siola's Note: I can only use such spell to 10 level corpses below me, but with every 10 points to Faith, it will decrease it per 2 levels. Now that I have 100, it means I can use it to a corpse that is 10 levels above me. The [Purgatory Seal] from back then ignored this and I can use it infinitely, not anymore though.
Siola's Note #2: The created undead's status is varied, but their status can be increased with every 10 points in Intelligence. Basically, adding 20% of potency to them. So, now that I have 100 Intelligence, meaning I have added 200% of potency to it, a +2 basically. This skill's potency is not compatible with weapon potency though, so it only relies on my Intelligence.
Reanimate: Raised the deceased as an undead that will follow your every command. Cost: 150
Siola's Note: This skill works differently and does not really have much connection to Intelligence and Faith stats or any other stats. This work using the RNG-based system. Increasing Faith can increase the chance of successful reanimation while increasing Intelligence can increase the chance of getting better stats and quicker reanimation. This skill's potency is also not compatible with weapon potency.
Heal Regen I: Increase Health Recovery by 1.5 per second
Cold Resist I: Increase Cold Resistance by 10%
Stamina Regen I: Increase Stamina Recovery by 3.0 per second
Blood and Soul Exchange: Any Ability you learn will cost Health to activate instead
Necromancy: The holy Mana can no longer be yours to command. Gain access to the ability of the dead.
"Let's see… three high exp pots and a rank up tablet, huh. Also, I don't think I can feed the egg, don't have that many cores on me atm. Soo…" she took out many varieties of colorful things… not. Siola takes out only the ones she's interested in. The EXP Potions, the Spellbook, and the tablet. Soon, she drank up all three of the exp potion and gulp it down. 'One of these will give me 1 million exp, quite considerate for the devs to give people these. I wonder if others got the higher tier one, there are only 5 variants, and this is the third one.'
'As for the Rank up tablet… I'll store it for now. I really need to rank up, but I should save it up when I need to rank up to Adept. As for the Spellbook, hmm… I wonder what kind of spell is inside. Grade-C, that means it's a tier 4. That's good, I guess, but I thought for sure I got really lucky there when I got that Appraisal book, but they just gave it away for everyone… *Sigh.'
She unlocked the metal covering on the book, and then suddenly, it turned into a card with a dark blue color. "Oh? What's this… they made it as a card now? Okay, that's convenient."
"Huh? A tier… 5? Wait, wasn't it… erm…" after pondering for a while, her eyes quickly widened in shock after realizing it, "s.h.i.+t! This thing… is an RNG… AGAAAAAAAAAAAIN???!"
RNG: Randomized Number Generator / Mostly being used in a game to generate random loot/item
"An they have to use chances too, d.a.m.nit! But, this wasn't being told in the world change update. Was it always being like this before? G.o.dd.a.m.n it, I can't remember!" sighing, it's as if she has lost her energy, "Haa... okay, let's what we got. Do I just… Appraise this or what?"
She focused on it, completely immersing herself in the whirling smoke inside the card.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!"
Peeking once more…
"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU, GAME!"
'G.o.dd.a.m.n it, a telekinetic spell. They cost a lot to use, and hard to control. They're not viable in any kind of situation… maybe if I got in prison and need to steal the key from the guard, but d.a.m.n… s.h.i.+t, this is bad.'
'Should I sell?'
'How many golds am I going to get for it? Meh, probably… not even a silver. Guess I should just learn it, huh. The game already upgraded the spell slot anyway. Not hurt to have to fill it up. Hmm…' she gave the cards, a long pa.s.sionate look, wanting to absorb its effect.
! {Tier 5—
She waved it away and skipped to its description.
Telekinesis: Take control of telekinetic powers. Cost: 198 Health, Cost to Maintain: 19 Health per second
Siola's Note: Scaling for this would be… The telekinetic spell does not take effect from the staff's bonus potency, so that means I… have the default potency for this, which is 1. The only way to increase this is by having 200 points in Intelligence and Faith status so I can increase that potency to 2. Yes, every 200 points in both stats will result in an added bonus of potency.
"Haa... why am I talking to myself. This is just so sad."
…
After finished gearing up with a fully covered ranger-type clothing with many paddings for protection in it, Siola summoned her new staff which has two small cloth flowing left and right from the unnatural wind inside. She then took a deep breath, tighten her b.u.t.t, and step out of the room. Instantly went inside the inn, the lady smiles at her, and she smiles back. Approaching her, she went to sign a paper which is stating that she has checked out of the room.
"Come again, sometimes."
The lady spoke weirdly, almost as if… suggesting something. Siola was nervous a bit, but she shook it off and nods at her. She then left after waving her goodbyes, 'Welp, looks like that wasn't an NPC… or was it?"
Walking out in the morning in town, 'Hmm… I supposed I could check the board for that quest, I don't like having it hanging around there. Cluttering my menu. Hm? Oh right, all quests are Main quest now, huh.'
What she was saying is that since the quests that give usually started an "event" with NPCs are no longer repeatable, all quests can only be done once now… the same as a Main Quest. 'Let's start with… that house."
She went knocking on the door of a small hut, and a man in his late 40s appeared. "Yes?"
Siola explained things to the man, telling him that she wants to help the town getting rid of the bandits. Surprisingly, the man is knowledgeable and gave her a lot of information. Afterward, she follows his suggestion and seeks out the village's chief. Several men were waiting outside the door of his small mansion and they guided her to him right away.
Holding his chin as he grazed the texture of the map, "We believe that the bandit is a common thug that lives in the area outside the burrow, northeast of the riverside tower. I have sent several men to get down there a few hours ago, but they have yet to return. If you go now, you might be able to catch up with them IF they were settling, which they usually do… lazy b.a.s.t.a.r.ds."
Holding off her laughter, Siola asked, "Is there anything else you can tell me?"
The chief nodded, showing a badge engraved with a blade and a flowing red banner. "My men always wear this symbol on their uniform, and most of them don't talk. The bandits also have stolen some enchanted weapons, so keep an eye out for that too."
"Any rangers?"
"A lot."
Siola's lips trembled, not because of fear… but an excitement. Once it tilted up, she lifted her hands to form a handshake, "Thank you."
And the chief nodded as he took her hand.
"Now that I think about it, I only need around 850k exp left to level up to 60. Then I can use that item and reach adept. The Quest will only give me 50k, it's quite low, but I'll do it anyway."
"G.o.d, things like this would make Kurira mad. 'Dola, you could've done this instead of that, why would you do this and wasted your time.' tch, stupid. And look at her, she's still level 40. It's obvious which role model I should follow. Rakuri is already climbing up to level 93 right now… she's a maniac, in a good way of course. Hm?"
As she walks through the gra.s.sless pathway, she saw a wagon on the other side of the road, just beside the river. Popping sideways, she saw a kid in tatters, crying in front of a charred doll.
"…"
Silently crying without a sound.
'Hmm… different from players, they start off with 600 Attributes points, but for people in this world… it's different.' Approaching her, the child, Lilian seems to have noticed her, but she didn't move nor avoiding Siola's approach. Their height may not be the same, but it pretty similar. If her guess is correct, she would be 5 years younger than Siola's appearance.
She doesn't know what to do, and so… she just sits beside her. s.h.i.+fting her eyes around, she couldn't find anyone in the area. Wondering… about what happened. She gives her attention back to Lilian, her beautiful features are being covered by the dust. Her eyes are completely mimicking the color of the ocean, and it longs deeply to the doll.
It is mildly burning inside and for sure… seems to be too hot to touch.
'Well, this might be a waste, but… oh well, I'm too tired to go and take a bucket and go to the river and take the water and come back to her, and, and, and, and, s.h.i.+t… let's just give it all right.'
She took a Mana potion out of the inventory and Lilian was instantly mesmerized by it… as if she just saw… a magic. Siola's sight suddenly flashes a memory, unknown, to her. It was a vision of another player dancing in front of a large audience with flames and cards in the air.
"…"
It was a moment pauses, and she only takes it as just a 2-second imagination is all.
She poured the hissing doll with the potion, and it created a blue smoke. Dancing around as wind pa.s.sed by. Once again, Lilian was taken by it. Her eyes sparkling, showing a sign of life.
Siola smiled knowing that she's okay now. She was surprised by it too, didn't know that pouring a potion would create something like that. Afterword, she took the doll and pocketed it in her inventory.
Rose from the ground, Lilian follows her movement.
"Hm?"
'Ah, dammit. For a moment there, I thought it was mine.'
She then gave it back and the girl took it, hugging it in her arms.
"..." without knowing it, Siola was stunned by it. She doesn't respond with anything but a smile.
…
Sweat dripped from Siola's cheek as she goes through yet another bush, blocking her way. She shoves it away, but there is another annoyance that kept her distracted, and that is…
Lilian.
The girl from before, 'Why in the world she's following me!?'
She looked at her, wanting to figure things out, but Lilian seems unable to talk or don't want to. '…' sighing. 'Ah well, who cares. I'm too busy to think about this.'
May not be doing anything at the moment, but about to.
A small wooden fortress was built just outside the burrow, she gleamed in excitement once more. "Finally. They're stacked all right. Hmm, maybe if I wait until night… yah, no, I don't have that kind of wits and sight.'
Her eyesight is normal, but she's not truly a fan of darkness.
"Stay here, kid" said the kid commanded the smaller kid. She didn't respond, only trembles as she nodded. Siola opened up her status menu, and then add her to her party. Lilian's eyes widened, she can see the notification. Siola didn't, but she managed to point at it perfectly. Lilian then clicked the "yes" b.u.t.ton. "Better not move around much, if I find you do… I'll break off those squishy legs of yours."
Lilian trembles and quickly nodded repeatedly.
"Good. It's nice that we can communicate at least."
Rotating her head to the fortress once more, she mumbled, 'Hehe, this… I like. Looks like the body count will begin counting."
