Souta was stepping through the air using the combat art [Air Walk]. His speed was so fast that he could barely hear Lynn, who was screaming, from his arms.

Lynn didn't expect this development at all. She thought that they were just going to the other cla.s.ses in a normal way, not this one.

Souta finally saw the campsite of a certain cla.s.s. He saw the red flag of that cla.s.s in the center area of the campsite.

He bent his knees and stepped into the air.

Brando's cla.s.smates too prepared themselves for the worse outcome. There's no one among their cla.s.s who didn't know Souta. Souta was the one who won in the mini-tournament before, trampling their whole cla.s.s even with a handicap.

They subconsciously took a step back as Souta lifted his foot and gently stepped forward. Then, Souta's mana flared up and at the same time, hundreds of shadows burst out of the ground.

The students of the s.h.i.+eld Cla.s.s 1-A jumped as the shadows chased them. They waved their s.h.i.+elds on the shadows.

"Entertain me, Brando," Souta said with a smirk on his face. Brando's s.h.i.+eld zooms the distance between them in an instant.

When the s.h.i.+eld was about to hit Souta, Souta vanished and the s.h.i.+eld only hit the air.

Brando quickly looked around and saw Souta ten meters away from him.

Souta smiled and said, "The spell [Agility Boost] and the combat arts [Cat's Speed] are both skills that can increase a person's speed. If I combine these two with [Dash] then..."

Brando was stunned as he found Souta appeared in front of him. He wanted to raise his s.h.i.+eld but he was too late.

A fist crashed into his cheeks.

Brando flew five meters away. He twisted his body in the air and landed on the ground safely. He looked up and saw that Souta chased after him.

Souta was about to punch Brando when he saw a small round s.h.i.+eld flew in the air. It flew straight towards him.

He looked ahead and saw a man with a huge build. The man had messy green hair and green pupils. Souta knew that he was the one who threw that small round s.h.i.+eld. He was Freddy, one of the strongest students of s.h.i.+eld Cla.s.s 1-A.

Souta aimed his palm at Freddy and casted [Shadow Ball].

A shadow flashed above him. It was Ashley of the s.h.i.+eld Cla.s.s 1-A. She was a tall woman with dark skin. She was holding a s.h.i.+eld that was half of her size.

Souta looked up and saw her s.h.i.+eld emitted a green light. A giant green s.h.i.+eld materializes in front of her.

[Defensive Strike]!!

Souta quickly bent his knees and jumped backward to avoid the giant energy s.h.i.+eld. It was then that he noticed a strong beside him. He followed it and found that the string was attached to the small round s.h.i.+eld before.

"You can't avoid this." Freddy smiled and he pulled the string.

The s.h.i.+eld flew back to Souta with speed greater than before.

"Really, what a teamwork." Souta smiled and when the two attacks were about to smash him he suddenly disappeared.

Ashley, Fred, and Brando were stunned when they saw this. They didn't see Souta move at all. It was impossible that they didn't even see his figure blur. It was like a bubble that vanished into thin air.

Fred felt a pain in his back. Someone just smashed his back. He turned his head and saw Souta behind him.

"I see..." He muttered before he flew away and crashed in the tree.

"Fred!!" Brando and Ashley shouted at the same time.

Souta smiled at the two. He then heard a sound behind him. He turned around and saw a man larger than Brando. He was Crane, the second most powerful man in the s.h.i.+eld Cla.s.s 1-A.

"Okay, let me test something on you."

Souta said as he activated the [Triple Muscle Strengthening] skill. He could feel that his muscles grow tougher and stronger.

Crane charged towards Souta with his s.h.i.+eld.

Souta stood on his position and he slowly pulled back his hand. He clenched his fist tightly and waited for Crane.

Crane swung his s.h.i.+eld when he arrived in front of Souta. And Souta responded by throwing his fist.

A loud sound echoed in the whole area as a gust of wind swept out in the surroundings.

Souta was pushed back five meters away. He felt a numbling sensation on his fist.

Crane's s.h.i.+eld has formed a dent on its surface.

"That hurts," Souta said as he opened and closed his palm. He then turned his head and saw that every student of the s.h.i.+eld Cla.s.s 1-A was around him.

Souta squatted down and placed his palm on the surface of the ground. He lifted up his head and said, "Don't blame me."

Countless spikes that were made of shadows burst out of the ground. It first appeared beside Souta then it spread quickly.

The student of the s.h.i.+eld Cla.s.s 1-A immediately jumped away when they saw the spikes.

Lynn's cheeks turned red when she saw his smile. She turned around and held her cheeks with both of her hands.
