Long ago in the continent of arkadia a legend says that before the lifeforms that came from another dimension invaded the continent, there are seven continents where only humanity lived in harmony and peace where you don't need to be strong to be happy, don't need to fear anything because the law handles it.

But it was change when those lifeforms invaded, they created chaos, deaths, and suffering. During that dark age humanity has a little way to fight back as the only weapon that they have can't inflict much damage to those lifeforms, and only some heavy firearms could do but the number is limited while the invaders are too many. Because of that, humaniy suffer so many casualties that nearly only a tenth of the previous human populations have survived and only a single continent for humanity exist, it is much more catastrophic than the world wars.

Many thought that it is the end of the world and there is indeed no G.o.d that can help them, and they thought their prayers where in vain, but that change when other lifeforms also invaded their world but not because they planned to attack humanity instead it is to help them, those lifeforms help humans stopping those enemy as they create their stronghold but nothing can last forever, those allied lifeforms disappeared one by one not long after and humanity was saddened because of it and they almost fell unto despair.

Once the allied disappeared completely the humans who fell unto despair was shocked once more because they notice something in their memory change and there is some information added to it, and that information change the life of humanity because in that memory it teaches them how to summon spiritual being 'spirits' and because of this, human fought back and enlarged their stronghold and many mythical figures emerged and those figures are either legendary summoner or even mythical summoner that helps humanity the most and slay many monster and demons that came in a waves, they even killed many general demons and the most famous among those figure is summoner emperor daimu, daimu is the only one who slay a demon king and humanity celebrated it for many days.

An old man was telling the kids the legends he knows of. It is his usual habit to tell kids about the legends that he knew and read in the books that happened in the past so as to spread that knowledge.

"That's amazing, one day I'll be like daimu emperor and also slay those demons"

"Then I'll be like queen of hope theresa and I want to heal everyone who's injured and bring hope to many"

Many kids are shouting of what they want to be when they grew up and be a powerful summoner themselves. Because in this world, a powerful summoner are the only one who have the right to be respected and live comfortably so everyone strive for it.

"Who would believe in that? Legends are just legends, a baseless rumor pa.s.sed through the words of mouth, only G.o.d knows if it's true or not!" Kiann who has black hair and refined face nearby them grunted with low voice while he walked pa.s.sed and ignored those people, as he always hear that legend through the elder people when he was younger and he's tired of hearing it now.

"It's only you who would not believe it at all! Because you're a useless trash that don't even have the right to dream of being strong like those heroes!" A kid rebuked him with fierce words. Kiann just shrugged his shoulder and left, ignoring the kid.

Kiann was now 15 and although he already got the gift of G.o.d which is the memory of how to summon his own spirits but it is already 2 years and still he has not contract a single thing in the spirit world.

When one age at 13 they will received their so called memory awakening and they will receive their own unique memory on how to get in the spiritual world to contract a spiritual being, when one get in that world they will only have a day to explore the world of spirits and find the one suitable for them and contract it.

Although it seems hard some still successfully contracted when they were 13 and can be considered a genius, and if one successfully make a contract with a strong beast at their first try they were called genius among geniuses but not everyone is like that cause most of then make a contract at the age of 14 to 17 and more than that can be considered a trash among trashes.

Meanwhile Kiann is already 15 and 2 more years of not having a summoned spirit then he will be considered as trash among trashes then that's why he also a target of bullies and that thought ashamed him, although one can also buy a beast egg but it is quite expensive so he can't buy one, so every time he hears that legend he feels upset.

Kiann then went to a lake where he usually go when he's bored or upset and threw rocks in it, as it bounces through the water as to pa.s.s time and relieved himself of his predicament.

Kiann threw another one as splas.h.i.+ng sounds was heard and he gazed through it and felt a little relieved.

"I think it is the farthest I've done so far." He said as he picked up another rock to try again.

As Kiann picked up a common stone, he then noticed a perfectly shaped flat round stone about 15 meters of him and felt that it is quite mysterious and felt there is a mysterious aura lingering but that thought was thrown in the back of his mind and only thought it was just his imagination but that didn't stop him from picking it up though as he move forward.

Kiann move forth and when that mysterious rock is just in front, he then picked it up and notice that his a.s.sumption is indeed right, there is a lingering aura surrounding it as he felt it when touched.

Kiann wanted to figure out the mystery as he blew the dust in it and cleaned it with his hands and saw that there is a complicated inscription written in it and he feel like he picked up a treasure and felt very elated in his mind.

Although this world is dominated by summoners, and it seems like the only treasure available are summoned spirit, beast and beast egg, treasure still exist, even though it seems like summoners rely only on their summoned spirits or beast to fight but the truth is not, because summoners should become strong also if not then in a fight they will only be targeted then so that came the treasures, many treasures came from the beast body and others are weapons by the summoned spirits so if the summoner died when his spirit is out then his spirit can die too and drop it's weapon.

In this world summoned spirits don't really die because once they die they will only stay in a rest for quite a long time but summoned spirits itself is rare and a iron rank summoner can only contract a single spiritual being and additional by 1 for subsequent rank, but in the case for contract beast or egg, one can have many contract beast as long as their spirit energy can sustain it or else it will fail. A summoner can have many summoned beast when their rank is higher, because when one ranks up, their spirit energy will also increase so they could sustain more beast for themselves.

So many treasures emerged that can help enhance spirit energy of the user and this item is sought by many, it is in demand but lacks for the supply most of these items can only be brought through auction that's why when Kiann thought he picked up a treasure he is so happy.

"I have to go home first and experiment it there." Kiann's elation didn't destroyed his rationality, once his action raised a commotion then he will be in danger and it might also endanger his family of 3 which he loves the most.

Kiann then went back home while running in an excited manner while the surrounding people are confused because as far as they know of him, he is quite a lonely person and a sad one at that, but it really doesn't matter for them at all.

"You looks extremely excited, is something good happen?" When Kiann came back home he was greeted by a very beautiful woman smiling at him as he felt the loving and caring gaze the woman had on him.

"I just think I found something good, I love you mother." Kiann replied casually as he hugged his mother suddenly because of his elation, his mother always console him every time he does try to contract a spirit and fail and she always tried to cheer him up all these days just to make him smile.

And after that he went inside and have a dinner later with his beautiful mother and sister, the family of three eat happily and have nice a conversation.
