Wearing her seat belt Zhi Ruo was ready to leave with Qing Shan. Excitedly she asked, "where are we going first?"

Starting the car Qing Shan explained a situation which was little problematic, "I just received a call. We will be going to one of the construction site. It seems work there has been stopped due to some problems along with some protest going on." Qing Shan's expression while mentioning the construction site was subtle as if it had been long time that this problem persisted. Though he tried not to show it on his face how can Zhi Ruo not catch his minute expression changes?

a.n.a.lyzing the situation Zhi Ruo asked with raised eyebrows,"Shouldn't secretary or the site manager handle this things? Why are you going?"

Though Zhi Ruo was not from business major and had no experience in business, she still knew a little basics about the company along with it's hierarchy and the job description of each position. Considering what she knew Zhi Ruo was pretty sure that in such complicated situations a CEO of the company should usually not appear. Not only the CEO's appearance might add fuel to the fire it can also deteriorate the matter if not handled properly. Such matters which are problematic are generally taken care of by the immediate supervisor and if he is unable to handle them the secretary steps in representing the CEO. Except the technicalities, Zhi Ruo had a little bad feeling about the site since she saw Qing Shan's expression changed.

Encountering the red light, Qing Shan stopped the car smoothly. He turned his face to look at her, smiled and answered in a simple way, "Secretary Han had tried to speak with them, but the workers say they only want a.s.surance from the CEO itself. They just want a little bit of payment hike and over all this years, even after promising ,they have never actually received it. So in order to not let it happen this time as well, they want a.s.surance from the CEO himself."

Zhi Ruo was unable to digest this matter. She kept on thinking about it while trying to find out what was weird. She suddenly had a ominous premonition as if things does not fit in the puzzle.

Noticing that his wife had suddenly stopped talking and was quiet Qing Shan glanced at her. Feeling happy in his heart that she was worried for him he added to ease her tension, "Don't worry. Secretary Han had made all the arrangements. Bodyguards are already mixed in the crowd and the people who were protesting have been checked thoroughly for any weapons."

Patting her head through one hand Qing Shan said in a a.s.suring voice, "Don't worry. It's safe."

Though Zhi Ruo was unable to find out where the problem was, her heart calmed down when Qing Shan explained about the security conditions over the place. Nodding to him Zhi Ruo smiled and pushed the thought to the back of her mind. She already had more than enough during the last few days and she clearly was not in the condition to add up an additional burden to herself. Today was the day she wanted to spend a little calmly without any other tension and problems....*But...would it happen the way she wants??? Are her thought's right??? Will this trip be that simple???*

Turning up a song on the radio, Zhi Ruo went back to her normal bubbly personality. She opened the windows to let cold air hit her face and started moving her body and dancing mildly on the beats of the song. Qing Shan who was constantly keeping track of her moments smiled gently.

The car came to a halt and both Zhi Ruo and Qing Shan glanced through the windows towards the crowd who were quietly sitting on the ground awaiting someone. Unbuckling his seat belt Qing Shan looked at Zhi Ruo, "Zhi Ruo, I will be back in few minutes. I just need to a.s.sure them and then it's done. Please stay in the car, okay?"

Zhi Ruo knew Qing Shan was worried about her appearing in such a shabby place among the crowd who might go mad at any moment. Suddenly a warm, fuzzy feeling enveloped her heart, smiling at him she nodded and went back to check her Weibo in order to pa.s.s some time.
