Husband's Lovely Wife 167 Dream

The car ride back home was a silent one. Qing Shan had some things going on his mind while Zhi Ruo was thinking about what Grandma Qing said to her. Both of them were immersed in their own world of problems.

Even though both the husband and wife were not in a happy mood or rather busy in their own thoughts the atmosphere was harmonious and did not feel stuffy. Sitting on the back seat of the car, Zhi Ruo was leaning on Qing Shan's shoulder while Qing Shan had his one hand curled around her shoulder and another hand caressing her face.

Snuggling closer to Qing Shan, Zhi Ruo asked, "Are you fine?"

She had already noticed that Qing Shan was not in his best looks since the moment he left Grandma's room. Zhi Ruo wondered what must have happened to make him sad, but refrained from asking in the Qing's mansion.

Kissing on the top of her head gently, Qing Shan said, "I should ask you that. You seem a little distracted."

Zhi Ruo did not pry in further. Rubbing her face on Qing Shan's chest like a cat, "Today I asked Grandma, how she knew me?"

"What did she answer?" Qing Shan asked while running his fingers through Zhi Ruo's soft hair. He knew Zhi Ruo wanted to ask the question since a long time but had not yet got the chance to. Qing Shan felt happy that at least she got the answer to her question.

"She said, she saw me when I was born. She was the one who gave me the name."

"Now I get it, why she would always say, she had already booked the bride for me." Saying Qing Shan lowered his face towards Zhi Ruo and kissed her hard. At first, he was just nibbling on her lips then he slowly made his way towards her tongue.

Zhi Ruo was a little suffocated and felt dizzy. She tried to push Qing Shan but her hands were caught by him and pinned on the top of her head while he hovered above her. Qing Shan stopped fr a few seconds allowing Zhi Ruo to gasp for oxygen. Before she could scold he again dived back into her honey-sweet mouth devouring her like a hungry beast.

Qing Shan did not stop until he didn't feel that he would go out of control. Burying his head on the crook of her neck Qing Shan breather in her scent greedily before saying softly in her ears, "You make me go crazy."

Zhi Ruo was already ecstatic because of the hormones. Qing Shan's fervent kiss had deprived her of oxygen turning her face red. Now with his words, she was so red that blood could start dripping from her face. Hitting him lightly on the chest Zhi Ruo wrapped her arms on his waist and buried her head in his chest.

"Go away." Zhi Ruo said in a m.u.f.fled voice following which Qing Shan burst out laughing

"You say go away but hold onto me so tightly. Wife, what do you want?" Qing Shan again teased her which earned him another punch on the chest, even so, his laughter was unstoppable.

Zhi Ruo's ears were on Qing Shan's chest, she was able to hear his heartbeats and the soft chuckling voice as well. Feeling happy she slept in his arms quietly.

"Mom, where are you?"

"Mom? I cant see you?"

"It's okay, you will not be able to see me. Just hear me out."

"Zhi Ruo, Qing Shan is a good person. Do not stop yourself, he will protect you and help you in your mission. Trust him."

"Mom, Where are you?"

"Silly girl, I am in a place where you cannot come. Listen to me Zhi Ruo."

"Qing Shan's life is in danger, and only you can protect him. You are his lifeline."

"Mom, What are you saying mom? Danger? Who is trying to harm him, mom? Tell me? I will find him"

"Don't be stupid Zhi Ruo, I have to go... I will come back. Stay safe. Remember, stay alert"

Zhi Ruo opened her eyes and saw Qing Shan's handsome face which relaxed her wildly beating heart.
