Thrones Of The Apocalypse 10 Frozen Lair

''There are several powers in the apocalypse, but the most common ones are; Beast Transformation, Arts and Magical Arts.

Those are only for the humans, then there is another one power called species change.

Species change will only be good once you select a higher species such as an angel or archangel.

Every race has a connection with something called; Mana Arts.

Mana Arts and Magical Arts are almost the same, but there is a distinct difference and that is that the mana arts is stronger and the color of the energy is purple instead of blue like the magical arts's energy.''

''Wow, you really gathered all that? And you are even making it public?'' Asked Ash at the old man that has almost no hair.

''Well, I don't have much time left, and I just want everyone to know that I did all this effort, maybe my name will even go down to history''

''I don't think you will go down to history though, everyone with a bright mind could do this, but they don't put effort in it because it's useless.'' Said Ash with no considerations for the old man.

''I know, I know, but maybe'' The old man looked at the sky that was slightly red while the moon was purple.

''Rebirth, it really fuc*ed up our world didn't it?'' Said the old man after looking at the sky for 5 minutes.

''Rebirth?'' Said Ash confused.

''The apocalypse, everyone changed, they lead a new life suddenly, so I called it Rebirth, even the world changed.''

''Good name'' Said Ash after some time.

''Try to feel it, the light blue, cold, flowing energy around you'' Told Ashley to Lily who was meditating on the ground with her legs crossed.

''Ignore all the other energies if you feel them, focus on the cold one, it can be a small chilly breeze or a snowy blizzard'' Ashley continued teaching while waiting for Lily's father to wake up.

They were currently in a big cave on an island surrounded by a giant lake that has a 2 kilometers radius with a forest beyond it that stretches for more than 20 kilometers.

Inside the lake swims numerous creatures that has reached the tier 2 and 3, there is a small chance that there is a king inside the lake, something at the tier 4.

Thus the lake forms a natural barrier for them.

''M-master, I feel something cold'' Said Lily when something cold pa.s.ses by, it can't be the cave because in the cave it was at least 20 degree.

Ashley eyes lit up and antic.i.p.ation was present in her eyes and a bit of envy.

It took her at least several days to get a hang on her energies, as a Cashal, she didn't have any connections with elements, at most she had some talent in the fire attribute, but it still took 2 days to feel the warm energy.

But Lily didn't even take 1 hour to get a hang of it, her talent is really someone at the peak.

''Immediately try to imagine that it comes towards you, imagine grabbing it, sucking it, or anything similar'' Said Ashley as she continues watching.

Lily did what Ashley said and tried to imagine it, slowly coldness envelops the cave, ice formed around Lily without her notice.

Ashley who saw all that stood there petrified. 'Niflheim?! Shouldn't that be impossible? Ice attribute is just a small cold breeze not dropping the temperature of the whole cave in matter of seconds!'

'Ice is even forming in the air! She is the frozen tear witch alright!'

Do know that the cave is somewhere around two football fields combined and now the whole cave temperature is dropping.

''Now try to imagine forming ice and making it to something like an arrow''

'Ah yes, the father' Ashley almost totally forgot about the father who was lying further up in a bed unconscious, she set a barrier of fire attributed energy around him to defend against the Alfheim, although Niflheim is a much stronger power, it's still in the initial stage so there is no problem about defending against it.

The ice that were forming around Lily quickly went to one place, slowly forming an arrow, the design is a bit crude, but nonetheless an arrow.

The energy the arrow excuded was similar to a mid grade tier 1.

'She immediately skipped over the low grade stage, alright, I see how she survived' Lily enlightened Ashley on how she survived in the past.

''Now imagine that you fire the arrow somewhere around you, just in a straight line'' Said Ashley as she saw the ice arrow shot forward with great speed towards the cave's wall, when the arrow connected to the wall it broke a small chunk of stone causing a loud noise that startled Lily who was dumbfounded and looked with an expression saying 'Did I do that?'.

'This is good, very good' A bright smile was expressed on Ashley's face.

''Let's take a rest fo-'' Before she could finish her sentence a voice resounded through the cave.

''Lily?'' Igrid who woke up a short while ago looked at the scene where his daughter created an ice arrow out of nowhere that broke a small chunk of rocks of the wall.

''Papa!'' Lily immediately stood up and ran to her father crying in his arms.

Ashley turned away and walked out of the cave to give them some room and flew on a branch of a tree, watching the intruders she sensed after the father of Lily woke up.

''Sigh~'' 'Getting too excited isn't good, I almost left these guys go'.

She looked towards a group of people with steel pipes and knives.

All of them were in the low grade tier 2 with their species changed. It is surprising that all of them were blue kobolds.

The appearance of a blue kobold are literally dog heads but blue, they are stronger than the normal kobold race who are around 1 meter in height and have brown fur.

'Why did they even go into the forest, I even made sure to leave a scent so that no beast will dare to go into my territory' Ashley frowned, blue kobolds should have a good nose thus they surely would have smelled the scent she left behind.

But very quickly she understood why they dared to into her territory.

''Where are they!?''

''How dare they to steal from our Eagle gang!''

A larger group of bulky men came running.

This group were in their twenties while the blue kobolds only had 5 people.

'The blue kobolds are pretty smart despite being dogs, trying to use me' Ashley smiled, she isn't going let any of them alive.

''Hey, do you think this is a good idea?'' Asked a woman that had a blue doghead.

''What other choice do we have? We can use the king of the forest to kill them'' Said an another blue dog head with the biggest head.

''But, how do we escape?'' Asked a smaller blue doghead with a nervous tone.

''Once we are out of the territory, the forest king shouldn't chase us anymore'' Said the biggest blue doghead.

The other two kept their mouth shut and followed what their leader had to say, they just hoped to live.

''Hey, why don't I hear those guys shouting anymore?'' Asked the smaller doghead.

''I don't know, maybe the forest king already took them out?'' Replied the biggest blue doghead with an 'I don't know' expression.

''Well, the forest king indeed took them out, but I don't like the forest king t.i.tle, how about the queen of everlasting night?'' An unknown feminine voice came out of nowhere.

''Who are you!?'' All five of the blue dogheads said the same, but their heads were immediately beheaded by something purple-ish looking.

''Your death'' Answered Ashley with a smile on her face.

''Actually, the queen of everlasting night is too chuuni, let's not do that'' Ashley realised what she said and cringed a bit.
