Reflection In The Mirror 10 Contract And A Date?

It was already Wednesday by the time Hide got everything sorted out. First he introduced Trigger to Eliza, explaining it had been rather painful. In the end they convinced Eliza to have Trigger move in into the house on their right. And the both apartments were separated by a single wall. 

   Then they convinced their neighbor to sell the house to Trigger and move out. It took all day and the neighbor settled on an unfair price. Even if they were kinda forcing him out. 

   So today, Trigger is helping the Neighbor move out then move into the building himself. Something Hide was glad for since he won't have to hear the annoying snoopy voice of Mrs.Grande. It was a win for him but with a hefty amount of money wasted. 

     And now he  was heading towards the Jardin de la Mort, just outside the Hawthorn city. It was a beautiful piece of land with a pristine white mansion sitting comfortably inside its borders. 

   Without further thought, he turned and stood before the big gates as it opened up automatically. 

    It was almost tea time now, so he was right on time. Driving inside the grounds of the famous Garden of Death, Hide parked his car before the house and got out of the car, nodding to the staff.  It seems like Camelia had informed her people of his arrival as they all greeted him with a bow. 

    They are most likely Camelia's most trusted staff and probably hand picked. It only made him impressed as Camelia was obviously taking this seriously.  

  "This way, honorable guest" 

"Thank you" 

  The head butler bowed to him and started leading him towards the back gardens. They walked through the long corridors decorated with rich wooden furniture and crystal chandeliers, it's ivory walls barren of any pictures and decorations. The floor covered in wine red carpet, it was truly beautiful but void of life.

'Befitting of Famiglia know of a.s.sa.s.sination' 

  He thought with a smirk and turned his attention back on the butler as he held the gla.s.s doors of the private garden open for him. 

   With a nod, Hide entered the garden and the butler closed the doors behind him. 

   He looked around the garden of exotic plants and animals, his eyes taking in the surroundings and searching for his business partner. 

   Finally his eyes landed on the woman beautiful enough to put Aphrodite to shame sitting by the fountain with a cup of tea in her soft pale white hand. The woman suddenly looked up to him, her flaming curls of hair bouncing as her crystal clear blue eyes took him in.  Then her dark red lips picked up around the corners, her eyes glinting with amus.e.m.e.nt. 

  "My Hide, I must say you look das.h.i.+ng in red" 

He chucked and took a seat, facing the woman. 

  "And you're as beautiful as ever Camelia."

"Oh don't try to flatter me. We both know I'm not as good looking as you~" 

  "That is true~ After all, who can match the top beauty of the Underworld?" 

  Both looked at her, each other challenging, then burst into laughter. If someone else but them had been there, they would have died from blood loss after hearing those two people laugh together. 

   " Now that was pretty vain of you Hide"

"I apologise, Camelia. I should have known you were fis.h.i.+ng for compliments."

"b.i.t.c.h" 

The woman before him deadpanned and took a sip from her tea with a huff. Hide chuckled and poured himself some coffee. Almost reluctantly the woman smiled and turned to him. 

  "So Hide, Shall we get down to the business?" 

Nodding, Hide took another sip from the cup and placed it on the table. He took out the  contract he wrote from his suit pocket and placed it on the table between them. 

   "Yes, We only need to sign. I already signed, it's only missing your signature now." 

   Camelia picked up the contract and examined it with her pretty blue eyes narrowed. 

  He examined her allowing his eyes to wander. He knew that Camelia was a rather beautiful woman but he just never noticed how beautiful she was. Too blinded by his love for Lilian. 

  Now he was finally looking at her and he must admit that Camelia Lumiere Revoir was a beautiful woman. Her skin was soft and pale with a healthy dose of pink. She had the reddest hair he had ever seen and an eyes enough to put Sean Lily to shame. And they were the brightest blue gem in the world discovered since the pit. Her body was fit and limbs long but not lanky, elegance rolled off of her in waves. 

   Interrupting him (and weren't he getting interrupted a little too much those days?) Camelia pulled out her pen and quickly signed the contract, handing one copy back to him. 

   "So what are you gonna do after we s.n.a.t.c.h the top dog position?" 

"Camelia darling, I know you're smart. So use that brain of yours". 

   "You're going to challenge us aren't you?" 

"Bingo! It's allowed. Even if it wasn't, it's not like we ever followed the rules."

  Hide said cheerfully as he put the file back into his pocket. Camelia smirked at him as she herself put away the paper. 

   "You should know that we are not gonna lose easily when the time comes darling~" she purred, fluttering her lashes at him. 

   "Oh I know you won't -" 

Interrupted again… Did the G.o.d, devil or whatever out there hated him or something!? Hide's brows twitched and it only got worse when a pompous and annoyingly high voice whined to Camelia as the glittery guy made a beeline from the door and into Camelia's arms, sniveling and crying about something. 

  Yes.. An instant disgust from his part and if he is reading the look in Camelia's eyes right, she was disgusted too.

"Gregory honey, What's wrong?"  her voice was soft and she sounded concerned but the eyes totally told a different story. Fortunately the fool didn't seem to notice. The sniveling man pulled away from her with tears in his eyes. 

  "The butler said you were with a guest! A male guest! Camelia dear you aren't cheating on me are you!?" 

  "Oh of course not darling, I would never. Besides William here has his eyes on only one person" 

  She cooed and the man wiped his eyes nodding, finally rea.s.sured. And wasn't he just quick? Hide bets he was just as fast in bed too. He had no idea what his fellow beauty saw in this moronic man. 

   Then the idiot had the gall to glare at him while wrapping his arms around Camelia. What was his name again? Greg-something? Hide already forgot. What was the use of remembering the name of useless bugs? 

   "You stay away from my wife b.a.s.t.a.r.d! I know you're lying about only having eyes for one person! You poacher! Pervert!" 

  He started screeching. Hide raised an eyebrow at Camelia who gave him a tired look. Never say Hide wasn't a kind person. He may not be a good person but he is a kind one. 

  So out of the goodness of his non-existent heart the strongest man in the Underworld (Mafia really) decided to help out his beautiful friend. 

   "Well then sir. Since I can't have her, neither can you."

 "Huh!? You're looking for a fight!? Cameli" 

 "Bang!" 

He fired with a finger gun and instantly the man dropped dead like a rag doll. There was no wound on him, it was like he was fine one second then died in the other. 

   The silence regained before Camelia sighed and leaned back into her chair, kicking the b.a.s.t.a.r.d's corpse out of him. 

 "I guess I should thank you for that. So what do you want?" 

  "I want nothing dear! I just helped you from out of the goodness of my heart!" 

 "Yeah right. Just say it Hide" 

 The amethyst eyed man smirked and stepped over the corpse of the jacka.s.s, then got on one knee in front of the lady. The said lady just raised an unamused eyebrow at him. 

  "How about a date?" 

"Hoh~  where and when?" 

 "On 12th of June. I will pick you up at the port" 

  That caused the woman to smirk, mirroring the one on his face. She raised and placed her hand on his awaiting one. 

  "I'm sure arrangements could be made good sir~" 

  "I look forward to our date then My lady~" 

"Until then~" he whispered, placing a kiss on the back of her hand before standing up and walking out of the garden. 

    Camelia once again picked up her lukewarm tea and took a sip with the smirk never leaving her face. 

  "Until then Hide~"
