Reflection In The Mirror 3 His Decisions

After a week of pretending to be his brother, Hide was finally getting used to the routine of one Louis Daniel Blance. 

   His day consisted of getting up at 5 A.M to run around the neighborhood and exercising, then helping Eliza by pulling her hair back and rubbing her back every morning while she pukes her guts out, then eating the breakfast prepared by the skillful hands of his sister in law and walking to the shop and running it for the day, before closing around lunch time to eat back at the apartment. 

   Thankfully the shop was rather close to the apartment. It was only a 7 minutes walk from the apartment to the shop and back. And yes, Hide counted how much time it takes. It was a good idea to map out possible escape routes after all. So Hide should have really expected something to happen. 

   He had been approached by them when closing the shop for the day. It was just after the business hour and he had been planning to pa.s.s by the supermarket to get Eliza the oranges she had been craving so much.

  Then he felt them make their move, causing him to tense up. It wasn't obvious, unless you knew him very well and those men didn't seem to notice it. They have been watching him for about 2 days now. So when they tried to knock him out, he allowed himself to fall limp and let them carry him away.

   They roughly threw him into the backseat of the car before getting in themselves and drove off. The drug they tried to knock him out was weak and obviously meant for normal humans. It was a sloppy work and Hide was appalled how badly trained those mooks were. 

     While Hide was far from normal human, they didn't know that and after using the drug, they didn't even check if he was truly out of it or not. 

 When Hide was the boss, even his most useless underlings received a high level training and were obviously smarter. But now was not the time to be judging the s.h.i.+t level of training. 

   He silently cracked his eyes slightly open and  took in the insides of the rather cramped car, he glanced towards the Window to keep track of where they were. Occasionally pretending to sleep when one of the two glanced back at his direction. 

 Oh and they seemed to have arrived at their destination already.He smirked slightly before schooling his face back to peaceful form of sleep. They brought him to the abandoned warehouse in the outskirts of the city.

  How lacking cla.s.s…. 

The mooks carried him inside the warehouse house and tied him to the chair with normal ropes. Then someone was rude enough to pour cold water over him. With a string of curses inside his head, Hide allowed himself to "Wake up and panic". 

    "W-Where Am I!? Who are you people!??" 

 His voice trembled as he glanced around frantically, scared out of his mind. Finally, after frantic searching and obvious panic, his eyes landed on the figure sitting in front of him shrouded by the darkness. The figure preened like a cat that got the canary at attention and started talking. 

  " Welcome Mr. Blance~ it is very nice of you to visit us like this. I apologise for the lack of hospitality."

   He spoke rather smugly with a fake look of guilt. And once again Hide found himself disgusted. Low level crime family then, how stupid of them. To kidnap a civilian like this and not even bother hospitality. He couldn't even act natural! If it had been Hide, no one would be able call him out for acting, not even guess that he was acting. 

 "W-Who are you.?" 

   He asked warily, a look of fear in his eyes while his wet frame s.h.i.+vered, trembling from the cold rather than of fear as the moron seems to think.  Ha! Like small fry like this would even scare him. The boss laughed and walked over to him, reaching out to push back the stray red lock behind his ear.  Hide resisted the urge to gag and only flinched away from the touch, causing the man to chuckle. 

  "I'm not someone you need to know darling. But you have something I need" 

 Now, what could that be~

"And T-that is?..." 

  He asked, ignoring the use of the pet name for the moment. He would get back to it later, preferably when he was plunging out the man's ribs. The man chuckled once again…. 

  "Now I'm sure your brother told you everything. Seeing as you are his only family and him protecting you constantly, you were able to live this peacefully."

  "W-why!? -" 

"Shh, let me finish. But since White Familigia is gone, wiped out by the hero and the government. It's the perfect time to find that." 

  "T-That?.. What do you mean?" 

"Oh don't act naive! You know what 'that' is!" 

  "Look! I don't know what that is! Or where even it is! So please just let me go!" 

  SMACK!!!..... 

 His cheek throbbed as the man slapped Hide. Suddenly the demons inside his mind roared for revenge and he barely kept the growl in as he glared up at the man with tearful eyes from the pain. 

 " I don't know what the f.u.c.k you're taking about! Me and William never got along well! So he didn't tell me anything  at all!! Not let me go."

  He could see the rage boiling within the man as Hide defied him. The man raised his hand to smack Hide again but too bad it was caught right?~

   Hide was still tied for course, so what had caught him? The boss angrily huffed and turned to look at what caught him. He paled as the dark shadow stretched out from under Hide, moving up and had wrapped around his arms preventing him from moving. 

    The red haired man easily undid his binds and stood up as the dark shadow started to wrap around the boss of this entire organization. The underlings finally processed what was happening as some tried to attack him while the others ran.  Too bad Hide has no intention to let them run. It was his turn now, and Hide was going to win. 

    The shadow stretched out and covered the whole area and tentacles shot up, attacking the mooks and dragging them down forcefully, invoking screams of fear from them. Ah~ what a beautiful melody!!!... 

  With a lazy grin stretched out across his face, he turned to the leader of this whole mess. The stupid human was the one trembling now, his hand holding a gun and pointing it at him with face of utter terror. 

"Stay away! Don't come closer!" 

   He warned, amusing Hide oh so greatly that he took a step forward. And dodged the bullet to his head quite easily

  "Don't come any closer!! Or I'll tell them to shoot the woman!" 

 Suddenly, the room turned deathly silent as the last of the man was dragged down and any amus.e.m.e.nt Hide had felt was snuffed right away.  But still the stupid thing kept talking, unaware of the danger it was in. 

  "I have my man watching the woman!! The blonde haired b.i.t.c.h is going to die if you don't tell me where 'That' is!" 

   "Ha… HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA…." 

 Hide threw his head back and laughed as the stupid thing threatened his family.  He laughed and laughed at the bravery (or was it stupidity? ) of the pitiful trash when a smell of urine filled his nose, making him snort. Apparently his little toy had soiled himself in fear. 

   With a bright smile, he took the knife his shadows gave him and turned towards the man. 

 Without further word, he ignored the pleas of mercy and flunger the knife deep into his chest, right between his ribs,drawing a scream of pain from his victim, making Hide's grin brighten. 

 "We're going to have so much fun~" 

   He whispered into the ears of the whimpering moron and got to work.

  When he finally left, he left a puddle of blood and a kneeling man with his ribs pulled out to make a wings behind.

   A deserving death don't you think? Threatening his family like that~

  Hide did not tolerate the threats to his person but no one threatens his family. But it seems like it's time for him to recheck his contracts in the underworld… but that can wait for another week.

  For now- he has more important things to do! Like shopping for some oranges. Hide hummed cheerfully as he drove away from the murder scene with nothing but a smile. Aware of the chaos he cause.

And this time, he would be ready for them.

And they can not stop him.
