Reflection In The Mirror 8 Agreemen

When Hide arrived at the city center, it was full of crowds. As if all the residents of the Underworld decided to come and watch the show. He smiled wryly, yeah they most probably did. The next leader will decide their fate after all. 

    Cutting through the sea of people, Hide made his way to the front with lots of struggle. It was absolutely disgusting and he felt dirty just standing there. People were smoking, drinking alcohol spilled everywhere and the smell of decaying corpses filled the air. It made Hide shudder, while he had spent most of his life in this place, it still always surprised him how dirty it was. Especially around the city center. 

      Ignoring and trying to put away his disgust out of his mind, he instead looked at the ring in the middle of the pit. It was held together by some black tree that grew from the pit like the rest of the city and connected to the city by four bridges. The ring did not have any fence and that made the possibility of falling to death rise up. But it was more exciting this way. 

   Focusing on the two figures on the platform, Hide absorbed them. 

  The fighter in red was most likely from Leone famiglia. Most likely their prized fighter Leo Bright. It is an important event after all. 

  The second figure in green was Wulf Keyman , a lone wolf of the Underworld with backings of Matryoshka, who are counted as famiglia for some reason. Hide had seen him a lot before and had considered inviting him into Hide Familigia but Wulf had been affiliated with Matryoshka even back then. 

    He would have made a good doctor. Too bad he can't see his own worth in anything other than fighting. 

   Hide continues to watch as they fight for victory. 'Ooh that was a nasty left hook' 

   Lio had given Wulf a rather nasty left hook and it seemed to have made Wulf lose focus a little as the lone wolf was trying to find his footing. Using this chance the red clothed man delivered an uppercut combo. His jabbed Wulf in the chest, crossing as his right left hand collided with the man in green's cheek once more. Stepping forward fearlessly he delivered the uppercut, his fist colliding with Wulf's jaw with a thud, it sent the said man flying a little before falling into the ground.

    Hide was bored,and they haven't even gotten to using abilities yet. He watched yawning a bit as Lio walked forward and pressed his foot into Wulf's chest. A fool, clearly. 

   While Lio's ability might be to give maximum damage with every hit, the damage rises each hit. It's because of this that setting him against Wulf is a bad idea. 

  For Wulf will only get stronger the more damage he takes. That's what makes him a dangerous fighter but also a very good doctor. Not only did Wulf diagnose himself but he also knows how to not avoid straining his injuries. That means he knows his body inside out and by knowing his body, he would also know about how the human body works in general. 

    "COME ON BIG BOY! STAND UP!" 

  Despite himself, Hide found himself yelling across the crowds cheering for Lio. He almost forgot how exciting those fights were and giving up there would just be regretful wouldn't it? And if he knew Wulf Keyman like he thought he did then he was not one to give up.

   Wulf Keyman laid on the floor of the ring as crows cheered for the young man advancing towards him. Boy did he cause some damage, Wulf could already feel the bruise blooming on his cheeks. He tasted blood and there were broken teeth in his mouth, his jaw felt stiff and aches too. 

   Grimacing to himself, he got ready to retaliate. This kind of damage isn't really enough for him to defeat the kid in raw power. But if he is smart about it. The power he acclimated is quite enough for him to win the fight. 

   He got his breathing under control, and waited until the kid was now looming over him with his fist poised to attack. Most likely to hit and crush his windpipe-

   "COME ON BIG BOY! STAND UP!" 

Hah?~ it seems like there is at least someone other than Matryoshka brats cheering on him. Well he couldn't possibly disappoint them now can he? 

   Just as Lio moved to hit him, Wulf reacted, raising his leg he tripped the boy in red and flipped them over. With him on top of the boy with the scalpel he hid in his sleeves now in his hand. 

   Lio's eyes widened and he struggled trying to get Wulf off of him. He kneed his back, making the man grunt. But he easily pinned him down with his larger body, one hand holding Lio's wrists above his head. Other hand moving towards his neck holding the sharp scalpel. 

    "Nothing against you kid. But I can't disappoint my fans now can I? ~" 

 SPLAs.h.!.+ 

 Blood splashed into Wulf's face, painting it red as the struggle along with the light faded from the bleeding and compulsing corpse of Lio Bright. 

  Silence… 

Everyone held their breath waiting for Lio Bright to get up. 

  He didn't. 

Then… 

"WOOOOO!!!!!!!" 

 Cheering. 

People were cheering. Wiping his face Wulf stood up, his vision little hazy from the blood. He made his way towards the bridge connecting the ring to the main city. 

   He walked slowly, Wulf was tired, hungry and aching all over.  And he can only rest after tending his wounds. With a sigh, he spit out the blood and the teeth from his mouth, letting it fall into the Pit. 

   Once he reached Matryoshka's designated spot,he kneeled before the representative.

Without even looking at him, the child waved him away. Instead choosing to continue talking with the lady sitting beside him. 

    Wulf stood up and walked off to the van with a grunt. Well at least he won… and that's enough to prove his worth as a fighter.

 Hide smirked as he watched Wulf trip and pin Lio Bright down. Well the fight is already over now and he should probably talk with Camelia soon. 

  Turning away, Hide swiped one poor sod's phone in the shocked silence. He made his way out of the corner and into the dark alley, already dialing the number he knew by heart. 

  One ring.. Two rings… Three rings…

 "Yes, who the h.e.l.l is calling?" 

  Hide felt himself grin. Still the same old Camelia, even getting married won't change her.

  "My, I thought you would regnorise me for sure Crimson Blur~"

  Silence.. 

A growl. 

  "Hide...How are you calling? Last time I heard you were in-" 

"In the highest security prison with power suppressors? My, my. How naive of you. You really thought I would get caught that easily?" 

A Huff.  And a bitter laugh. 

  "Well, I guess not. So why are you calling?" 

Any amus.e.m.e.nt was cut off from his voice as he stated his reasons. 

"I need the favor you owe me, Camelia." 

"Hoo? The great and powerful Don Hide calling in for help? What happened to all the power and people you had?" 

  "Dead.."

"All of them!? Don't tell me you told that b.i.t.c.h even the whereabouts of the secret bases Hide!!" 

  He laughed quietly, hand covering his violet eyes as he turned to look at the sky. 

  "I didn't, don't worry darling. I just can't contract them for now." 

 "You scared me for a second there Hide. So what is the favor?" 

  "I want to use Fleur familigia's name and backing to enter the tournament" 

  "You want to do what!?" 

" Use your familigia's name to enter the tournament for next top dog position" 

"b.i.t.c.h, are you planning to take back your position!?" 

 "Yes of course~ I can't simply let some insects take it from me now can I?" 

  "Hahaha. I guess not but you do know that by doing this, the new top dog won't be you but me and my familigia if I allow you to do this."

"Aren't you afraid that I'll lose?" 

"b.a.s.t.a.r.d, like you would lose to anyone. So do we have a deal?"

 "Yes, I agree and are you planning to kill that husband of yours anytime soon?" 

  "Oh quiet you, this one is interesting. Come by my office on day after tomorrow. It's been a while since we had tea." 

  "Of course dear. See you then?" 

"Yes, now hang up. I'm busy enough as it is" 

"Alright alright. Bye~" 

  Hide laughed softly. It's been a while since he had seen Camelia. It should prove to be entertaining. 

   Breaking and throwing the phone over the railing into the sea. He turned around to walk back to the port when…
