It was not long before school starts, Amber was still the same easy going and would even sometimes fall asleep during cla.s.s.

The teachers were at first feeling irritated towards her att.i.tude but not one of them could complain for even if she sleep during cla.s.s her scores were still top notched.

So even though they wanted to complain there is nothing they could do but to zip their mouth and wait for her to have bad scores before they could reprimand her.

Of course not one of them knew what her relations.h.i.+p was to Ashton, what was said to them was that she was asked by Ashton to help for the security of the database of the school.

They of course used this to complain that she must have used this knowledge to get high scores in their exams to which she shut them up by asking them to create their own exams right in front of Ashton.

They willingly did and right there and then Amber answered the questions within just a few minutes and returned the paper to them before she returned to her cla.s.sroom.

After that the teachers no longer had anything to say. But still they felt irritated with her nonchalant att.i.tude.

"Miss Woods, why don't you come up here and answer this question? Since you are so smart anyway that you sleep in cla.s.s, you should be able to answer this right?"

Just like now, it was a programming language that in reality should have been thought on the last years of university. But the teacher was so mad he decided to use this against Amber.

He first asked everyone who could answer this, while no one raised their hand, he took the opportunity to call out on Amber who was at the back of the cla.s.s, sleeping.

In reality, it's not that the cla.s.s was boring but that Amber have just started her company so everything was still in her hands. The first project was half way through.

After that she had to look for other companies to buy it. It was just a simple security software upgraded to the point that the person using it wouldn't need that much knowledge in programming in order to apply it.

Her first target was of course the schools then the small companies. She also asked Ashton for some tweak on the program itself since Ashton was more adept in security.

Ashton just stared at her while she was asking for his help, to which she replied with a sheepish look, "Come on now, can't you help me just this once?"

She was truly thick skinned, that was what he thought as he raised an eyebrow.

But in the end he still helped her with it. And at the same time he was surprised for he didn't do much only a few in depth details. Which means that she had already done a great job over it.

"I'm still learning," she grinned after seeing his look.

Due to all these works, Amber was lacking sleep. The cause of her always being sleepy in cla.s.s.

She only had one eye open after hearing her name, she looked at the board and stood still on her chair for a while.

The teacher sneered upon seeing her confused look, "Seeing your look it seems you also have no idea of how to answer this. Stay awake and listen carefully. Just because you can earn high scores doesn't mean you know everything."

Of course this earned a few remarks from the other students who felt jealous towards Amber. She can after all interact with the student council president due to her work.

None of them could do it, especially the ladies who look at Ashton like wolves ready to hunt.

"She was but a scholar, she even have the gall to get close to the student council president."

"Right, even the teachers hate her."

Hearing this, Amber didn't even have that much of reaction she just shrugged towards them to which irritated them even more.

"Now seat down and be attentive, stop sleeping in cla.s.s," seeing the reaction, the teacher was even more delighted.

"It's fine teacher, I will answer it for you. I was just wondering why would a high level question, appear in our cla.s.s when we were just freshmen," Amber lazily walked to the front.

She was rubbing her eyes due to sleepiness and her action was particularly cute if it included her doll like face. Without her intending to, she actually garnered the attention of so many of her male cla.s.smates.

"How presumptuous of you. How dare you say that this is a high level question? I know you are freshmen, I wouldn't bring such question to you."

Amber looked at her with sarcasm, "Then I wonder if you knew that this question appeared on the textbook of the third years for the higher level of this same cla.s.s? On page 156, question 6? Did you know?"

Her words caused the teacher to be stomp for words. Of course he knew about it, he read it just moments ago before the cla.s.s started. On the same book, the same page and the same question.

But he didn't deny nor accepted it. He remained quiet, this would be the best answer in order not to shame himself.

Amber sneered before she picked up the whiteboard marker and started writing the answer. To further irritate the teacher she started explaining every step to her cla.s.smates.

And to their surprise it was actually so easy to understand. She didn't speak too much like the teacher but instead she only used a few understandable words and they got it already.

Each person in cla.s.s has their laptop so after she explained it, they tried it on their computer to which the desired outcome was presented in front of them.

Now even those who feel jealous towards her were looking at her in awe. Something as difficult as this was explained by her in such an easy way. Too easy that they felt like it was a question within their grade.

They decided to check the book she had said and see for themselves if the teacher indeed showed them a question of a higher cla.s.s.

Of course the teacher couldn't refute nor reprimand her, for the answer was already right in front of the students.

Amber no longer bothered looking at the teacher and returned to her seat, returning to her sleep. She was still tired, at the same time she will have a test trial tonight.

Of course since it was regarding security she herself will be the one to try and hack through it to find out just how strong it's defenses are.

After that, the teacher didn't bother pointing at her. He continued his lesson but he could feel how his students look have changed. They now see him as someone who would bully a student unfairly.

The things that happened spread all over the university like wild fire. How a student was picked on by a teacher and she returned it by teaching the process to her cla.s.smates.

And the way she did it was easier to understand compared to the way the teacher teach. Some students started looking towards Amber's cla.s.sroom and were amazed that she really was sleeping in cla.s.s.

"Uhmm Amber?"

After what happened no teacher have disturbed her sleep, she was only woken up by another voice.

Upon raising her head she saw that half of the cla.s.s were already gone.

"We will be starting gym cla.s.s soon," the girl said to her with uncertainty.

Everyone knew that despite sleeping in cla.s.s, Amber still entered every cla.s.s she was enrolled to. She didn't even miss gym cla.s.s despite being sleepy.

"Oh, sorry and thank you. I was specially tired today I didn't hear the cla.s.s changing chime," Amber stood up instantly.

The girl just smiled at her before she went ahead to where her friends are waiting.

"What happened to you? Why do you look so scared with just waking her up? You were the one who suggested it, Leslie," one of her friends say after she reached them.

"I thought she would be mad if I woke her up. But she even apologized to me. I guess I was holding my breath for so long," Leslie replied with a smile.

She was also one of the scholars, it was not that her family were poor but that University A was still a prestigious school. With only a restaurant as their background, they obviously couldn't send her here with their income.

"Come on now, we also need to change to go to cla.s.s," her other friend shook her head with a defeated smile as the three of them left.

Amber was actually close to the door by the time they were talking so she heard about Leslie being somehow scared of her.

Just as she was close to the gym, she chanced upon Carl who just returned from an errand.

"Young miss," he greeted with a smile.

"Carl do I look scary?" she couldn't help but say.

'If you don't speak and stood still then yes you are scary, a scary doll,' was what was on his mind but instead he smiled at her.

"You don't look scary at all, young miss."

Amber nodded and went to the gym in a daze.
