@@Feeling not completely recovered, but better, I open my eyes. Before opening my eyes, two people's voices already started entering my ears.
"The commander will punish you when we return." The voice of Hypocrite advised.
"Yeah, yeah. I deal with that when I get to it. But I still don't think it was fair! Why do you get to go with Little Fly and not me?!" I hear the wining voice of Leopard.
"Because you're not completely healed." Hypocrite states, matter of fact-ly.
"Leopard?" I realize I'm laying on top of Leopard's fluffy golden hair. I look down to where I was hearing the voice.
"Ah! You're awake!" Leopard put me in the palm of his hand after changing back to a human. I see myself reflected in Leopard's glossy white canines as he smiles happily.
"I wasn't technically sleeping...Why are you here?" I ask the question that I've been pondering over.
"I wanna come with you! I'll protect you as thanks for healing me!" Leopard s.h.i.+nes an innocent smile.
"That's...it was kind of my fault you got hurt in the first place. It was only right to make amends and heal you. If anything, I should be apologizing for taking so long...you must of been in pain the entire time..." I still feel bad...Leopard only got hurt because of my inept.i.tude.
"Ah! Not at all! It's ok, you don't have to worry about me, I'm used to this kind of this. This kind of small injury doesn't hurt." He slapped his chest as a show of well-being.
"This happens often...?" I grabbed ahold of a specific piece of information.
