Opening the system's shop to purchase a Blood Escape Talisman and leave right away because there wasn't enough time for him to descend the Soul Devouring Mountain before the sunset, Yang Shen was just about to go through with the purchase when he saw something pop up in front of him and forced him to stop.

Failure: The second part of the mission will never be triggered and the host will permanently lose the opportunity of obtaining the three ??? Grades Artifacts.

Remembering the feeling and death he felt creeping upon him the moment he realized what was happening, Yang Shen had no trouble in admitting that it would be impossible for him to grow stronger than whatever it was in a mere 30 days.

Therefore, if he couldn't subdue the beast right now, he won't be able to do so in the future either.

In that case, it was better to try his best and see if he could finish this mission or not before sundown.

Making his way back up the mountain, Yang Shen managed to stay confident by repeatedly looking towards the mission and reading that the beast was sealed inside the cave.
