"I'm back. Did you miss me, Yuan Ling?"

A purple-haired girl giggled and walked in from outside.

"Boss, look!" Qian Wanyang dragged w.a.n.g Hao over and pointed at the girl.

"A cyborg!" w.a.n.g Hao observed the purple-haired girl. With her delicate features and the sunny smile on her face, she looked like a fairy from an anime.

She looked too cute to be human.

According to the files w.a.n.g Hao recently read, cyborgs were also humans. They were no different from regular humans except that they had lost their bodies. However, before they died, their brains were transplanted into robots through advanced technologies, thereby creating brand-new humas whose brains were human and whose bodies were robotic.

Cyborgs could also train. By upgrading the parts and weapons on their body, they could become stronger.

But in order for the brain to control the weapons well, they needed magnificent mental power.

It was even safe to say that cyborgs were essentially mechas that had been installed with a brain.

"Hey, how much is this cyborg in your store?" w.a.n.g Hao asked and pointed at the purple-haired cyborg.

"You want to buy me?" The purple-haired cyborg pointed at herself.

Yuan Ling said in a hurry, "Ling Ling is not for sale."

"Not for sale?" w.a.n.g Hao observed the cyborg named Ling Ling. She looked absolutely the same as a regular person, unlike most cyborgs who were armed to the teeth.

"Ling Ling is definitely for sale." Ling Ling ran to w.a.n.g Hao quickly and said, "Ling Ling is very cheap. You can buy me as long as you pay my body maintenance."

"Are you serious?" w.a.n.g Hao was excited. Since cyborgs were half-robots, their bodies had to be maintained once every month, which would cost a thousand contribution points each time.

If the body was damaged in a battle, the cost to repair it would be enormous. Many cyborgs who could not afford the payment would have to sell themselves so that their purchasers could pay the maintenance fee.

Rose Society's cyborg store was exactly a platform for the cyborgs to sell themselves. It made money by charging commission fees.

For her safety, her parents kept Ling Ling in the No. 11 school so that she would be away from danger.

But for Ling Ling, the No. 11 school was like an enormous prison that she wanted to escape all the time.

"A troublemaker?" Ling Ling's eyes glowed, as if she was picturing her fun new life in the future.

w.a.n.g Hao reached Ling Ling curiously and squeezed Ling Ling's cheeks, only to discover that her skin was as warm as that of a normal human.

The only difference was that, though Ling Ling seemed shy, her face did not turn red.

It seemed that the body of this cyborg was not advanced and could not reflect emotions on the face yet.

As far as w.a.n.g Hao knew, the advanced cyborg bodies, like mecha, belonged to the Military Department. One could not buy such bodies if they only had money but no connections in the Military Department.

"w.a.n.g Hao, what are you doing?" Yuan Ling pulled Ling Ling behind her and gazed at w.a.n.g Hao warily.

w.a.n.g Hao rolled his eyes. "I just want to check the difference between cyborgs and humans. You don't think I'm interested in a cyborg girl, do you?"

The eyes of other girls in the store said that they did think so. They wouldn't have suspected it if it were anybody else, but since it was w.a.n.g Hao, they had every reason to doubt him.

"How can you be so suspicious?" w.a.n.g Hao snorted. "Trust is the most precious thing between people. Do you really think I would do anything so shameless?"

Trust?

Who gave you the courage to say that?

Just now, they saw with their own eyes that a certain someone sold out his follower with a few words. Did such a person deserve trust?

w.a.n.g Hao said solemnly, "Forget it. The truth speaks for itself."

All the girls looked at him in disbelief. This man was not only shameless but also disgustingly pretentious!

Qian Wanyang sighed. Everybody had learned his boss's shamelessness. No one would believe his explanation even when he did not mean to do anything bad.

"Boss, help!" Chen Yao's scream echoed into the store before he came in. "Boss, take off my pants, please!"

Qian Wanyang looked at Chen Yao sympathetically. His buddy must've experienced another shock.

"Take off your pants?"

All the girls stepped back in fear and looked at w.a.n.g Hao and his company in disdain.

"I used Qian Wanyang's fingerprint. You can unlock it if you let Qian Wanyang touch you." w.a.n.g Hao looked at it with great interest.

"My fingerprint?" Qian Wanyang's face was darker than ever. His boss was truly a pervert.

Noticing Chen Yao's pitiful and helpless appearance, Qian Wanyang struggled to say, "Let's go home first!"

"Eesh…"

All the girls gasped and stepped back, keeping a distance from Qian Wanyang and Chen Yao. Those two were truly as perverted as their boss.

Very soon, Ling Ling convinced Yuan Ling and hopped away with w.a.n.g Hao.
