The Forgotten Royal 13 Be My Girlfriend

(about a week later)

It has been about a day since I left the hospital. Returning to Akira wasn't easy. She was extremely worried, and even more when I told her what happened. That night, Dmitry took me out for dinner. That event caused the both of us to get closer to each other.

Skipping down the park happily, I stop by the lake and stare at the ducks that were swimming peacefully. Smiling small, I quickly turn around which wasn't a smart move at all!! I was so close to colliding into Dmitry!

"Eek-! I'm sorry!!"

"This is the second time, you know!" Dmitry said with a fake annoyed voice.

Sadly, I didn't noticed he was pretending. "I-I know!! I'm so sorry!!"

"Haha! Jewel, it's okay. I was just playing around, silly girl."

"O-oh... I-I mean!! Yeah, I knew that!!!"

"Heh, sure you did."

"anyways!! What are you doing here?"

"Eh, just came for a walk."

"I see. And your sister?"

"Home."

"Oh Okay."

"What about you?"

"Uhhhhhhhhh, I... don't know really. Teehee!"

"Heh, silly. Anyways, I... have a question."

"Oh? What is it?"

"I know it might be too soon, but.... I have fallen head over heels for you Jewel. Jewel, be my girlfriend."

"..... Wha....?!"

"I don't expect a quick answer from you. So, take as much time as you want."

"....ok....."

"I should get going. See you later."

Dmitry kisses my forehead gently before leaving. For a while, I stood there dumbfounded. I wasn't expecting a confession. I totally think this was too soon. Yeah, we might have been together for about a week but still.... I don't know him that well yet...

Coming back to my senses, I start to feel my face heating up a bit. There is just one thing I don't want to expect.... the fact that I am also head over heels for him.

I fear if I were to start a relations.h.i.+p, my goal won't be reachable. I won't be the only one in danger, but also my beloved one. I wouldn't want that at all.

Sighing deeply, I head back to Akira's home. The streets were very busy today. There were a lot of people, which really isn't my favorite. I can start feeling claustrophobic. Doing my best, I speed up my pace so i can get out of this crowd.

Once successful, I stop walking and take in a few deep breathes. Feeling better, I continue walking. As I was about to cross the road, someone from behind pulls me back from my waist. Suddenly, a car speeds by quickly.

"That's why they say to look both sides before crossing the road." Venom said with deep concern.

Turning around quickly, I look at him with complete shock.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he let go of me.

This... is Venom?! His presence is very different! His way of being is different too! What in the world...?!

"Y-you're right. That was my fault." I said.

"I doubt you would have made it out alive if you were hit. After all, that person was speeding."

"Yeah. Thank you, Venom."

"No problem.. oh and... please forgive me for the way I treated you. I didn't do it intentionally."

"Its fine. I forgive you and your brother."

"Alright. I should get going before my siblings starts complaining."

"Okay, Venom. Take care."

"I should be the one saying that."

"Whatever!"

Venom chuckles small before walking away. This time, I checked both sides of the road before crossing.
