The Forgotten Royal 14 Stressful

Laying on the couch, I started filling up job applications. I tried to aim at high ranked jobs so i can really put in use my high IQ. But I got to say... I feel like no one is going to accept me. If not, then okay, I guess will just start heading towards my goal instead. Which would be a wiser thing to start now.

"Are you okay?" Akira asked walking up to me.

Looking at her, I node small. "Yeah. I am."

"Okay. What ya doing?"

"I'm filling up job applications and... thinking of some confession a.... friend told me..."

"Ooooo~!! Did you accept?!"

"I didn't give him an answer...."

"Why?"

"Because! I am not sure if it's time for me to get in a relations.h.i.+p..."

"Why?"

"I... have something to do first before I can live on about my life peacefully."

"By the sound of it, it is something really big."

"It is. That's why I didn't give him an answer right away."

"So sad."

Sighing deeply, I sit up straight as I put my phone to the side. I give Akira a slightly annoyed face.

"What's wrong?"

"This... is stressful."

"You need a boyfriend."

"I know I do!!"

"Then accept him!! Give him a chance!"

"But-"

"No buts but the one that is behind you."

"... wow..."

"Just accept. You never know, maybe he can help you with your goal."

"I don't know about that... it's too risky..."

"Jewel, accept!! Just do it!!! Or I'll do it for you!!"

Chuckling small, I stand up and give Akira a hug. "Fine. I'll accept. If it ends badly, the blame is going all on you."

Hugging back, Akira giggles happily. "I'm up for the consequences!!"

Letting each other go, I grab my phone and check if i had any plans tomorrow. "So, I can talk to him tomorrow morning."

"Perfect!!!! It is going to be so romantic!!!" Akira exclaims.

"Heh, romantic? I'm not the romantic type when it is real life. But if you are talking about manga, ooh gurl! That is a whole different topic!!"

"Haha! Just go with the flow. You'll be fine! Anyways, I am going to go out with Dinna and Anna. Wanna come?"

"Sure."

"Alright! You're going to have fun. Don't worry! The stress you have right now will vanis.h.!.+"

"Hopefully, I'll go change!"

"Okay! I'll wait for you!"

Nodding small, I went to the room and then to the closet. Changing to a long sleeved white s.h.i.+rt, black jeans, two chain attachments on opposite sides of my waist, and black ankle boots. Fixing my hair in a neat ponytail, I node in satisfaction before going back to Akira.
