Amber And Her Wolves 12 Chapter 12 Alphas, Luna's And Mate's

Bradley came over to give me a couple of books that he had on werewolves to help me understand everything. He had booked marked some pages like the hierarchy and a page about mates. The hierarchy was pretty easy. Alpha and Luna, then Beta, Gamma, warriors and finally omegas. That was easy to understand. Mates was annoying. The book explains that the moon G.o.ddess made every werewolf a mate. Someone pretty much perfect for them. They only ever got one mate in their lifetime. Alpha's sometime got two but only if the first was killed before they could mate. A mate also had to mark the other. It was just a bite where their neck meets their shoulder. It would connect them so that they could feel each other's emotions and hear each other's thoughts. I hated the idea of someone apart from me being in my head. After that happened they mate. Which basically means they have s.e.x. At this point it is highly likely that the female will get pregnant unless she was on some kind of birth control. No way in h.e.l.l was I going to be Alec's mate. I just couldn't do that. I would be stuck to him for the rest of eternity. I got up and went to find Alec. Danial saw me on the way downstairs and asked what was wrong. "No way am I going to be Alec's mate." I said to him. He looked worried because I told him to take me to wherever he was. A few people pa.s.sed us and bowed to us saying Luna and Beta. Oh G.o.d no. please tell me that Alec wasn't the Alpha. I could not be a Luna. One I wasn't a werewolf and two, I didn't want to be Luna. I couldn't be. I hated the idea of being connected to someone. Alec has always been an a.s.shole to me. Why the h.e.l.l would I have s.e.x with him, let him mark me and let him try and get me pregnant? Danial knocked on a door and Alec said come in. I pushed the doors open and he stood there looking at me. He smiled and acted like he was the hero. I ran up to him and pushed him against the chair. I put a knife to his throat to make sure he didn't think about doing anything. "I will never be your mate! Go find someone else!" I shouted at him. He smirked and suddenly I was on the chair and he was hovering over me. "You will be little princess." He said smirking. He started to kiss my neck so I stabbed his shoulder. He swore and moved back and I escaped back to my room. What the h.e.l.l was I going to do? I could end up trapped here forever. I screamed a threw some things around. Danial came up after a few minutes but by then it was too late. I had a plan where I would get what I wanted the most.
